"Arnie, you need to sleep, it's late and you're drunk, we will talk about this tomorrow." I said trying to change the topic and hoping he won't keep asking the question.

"No, I don't want to sleep."

"Come on Arnie, stop acting like a kid, I'll take you to sleep myself, come." I said as I grabbed his hand and pulled him up, I had to literally drag him inside the room.

"I will only sleep if you sleep beside me and sing me a lullaby." He pouted.

"Aren't you such a baby? Fine! I'll change and be back in a while, I better find you lying on the bed by then otherwise I'll go sleep in my room with Tanvi okay?"

"Okay." He nodded, drunk Arnav was so damn cute.

I rushed to my room and quickly changed and headed back to where Arnav was, I found him lying on the bed staring at the ceiling, I got a blanket from the cupboard and headed to sleep beside him, making sure he was covered well.

"Now sleep." I said.

"Okay." He turned to face me as he smiled cutely. Well I hoped he wasn't going to remember our conversation tomorrow, otherwise I was in trouble.

I had such a good time with Armaan tonight, and although he kind of looked similar to the guy that left the note outside my house, it dint sound like it would be him, I mean of course you cant know for sure, but you can always get an idea from how a person talk and behaves, like there's just this instinct that tell you and mine told me that he wasn't the one.

Beside he was a good person and the only option I had to help me get rid of this new feelings I had been feeling towards Arnav.

We had been best friends for so long, how come I never felt this way before? Why was it so sudden? Like it just came out of nowhere, no meaning or explanation.

I looked at him once again and he was deep asleep, I just smiled as I kept on staring at him, what a handsome man.

I woke up at my usual time the next morning, Arnav was still deep asleep beside me, so I stepped out silently and headed back to my room where Tanvi too was still asleep.

I headed out in the sitting room and then suddenly I remembered about the note, I dint hear anyone ring the bell last night, or maybe they rang and Arnav was obviously drunk so he was deep asleep and maybe I dint hear it because I was tired too and deep asleep?

I walked towards the door, opened it and looked outside, to my surprise, there was no note today. Why would someone that had been blackmailing me to tell the secret stop blackmailing me all over a sudden?

I walked back inside and found Tanvi there yawning.

"Good morning." She smiled.

"Good morning." I replied as I headed to grab my clothes so I could take shower and get ready for college.

Tanvi just followed me around and waited until I was done with my shower and then she headed to take a shower meanwhile, I went to wake Arnav up.

I sat beside him and shook him a bit.

"Arnie, it's time to go to college, if you don't wake up we're going to be late. Come on Arnie." I grabbed his blanket and pulled it off.

"Shona please." He said.

"Don't Shona please me, come on wake up." I said strictly, he rubbed his eyes as he sat up and opened the slowly.

"Damn it, why is my head bursting like this?" He said angrily.

"Because you got drunk without limit last night." I rolled my eyes.

"That reminds me, how was your date last night?" He asked looking dead serious.

"Why do you care, you dint want me to go in the first place."

"Fine don't tell me."

"Arnie, can we please just stop fighting about this? I don't like fighting with you, you are my best friend, you are supposed to be with me in everything." I sat down beside him and held his hands as I looked him into the eyes.

"Okay." He said as he stepped out of the bed, I just nodded and headed back to my room to comb my hair and then grab my books.

We arrived together at the college and as usual headed straight to the canteen to eat, I found Armaan standing outside the canteen as if he was waiting for me, and Arnav's expressions changed as soon as he saw him.

"There's your boyfriend waiting for you." Tanvi teased.

"Shut up, it was just a date, he's not my boyfriend yet." I giggled to which Arnav gave me another look.

Seriously, look at Tanvi she was so happy for me, why couldn't Arnav be happy too.

"Hey, I was just waiting for you." Armaan said as he walked closer to me.

"Really? How did you know I was going to be here?" I asked.

"I have been here a while, I know you come here every morning." He said.

"Have you been stalking me Armaan?" I laughed.

"Nope, just been observing and my little observation from now tells me you were already missing me and were so happy to see me here, I mean look at that beautiful smile on your face." He flirted making me blush.

"Shut up." I said as I looked at the floor blushing.

"Hey Arnav, I was thinking..." A girl approached him out of nowhere. Seriously, were they all hiding everywhere and they decided to pound on him as soon as they saw him?

"Sure." Arnav said as he grabbed her by the waist pulled her closer as she crashed on her chest and smirked as he looked at her, he traced his finger all over her face and I don't know what but that was really making me mad.

Seriously Khushi! What is wrong with you? Arnav had been doing this since forever and there was not once that I felt this way and now I was, and I dint want to.

God help me.

"Would you like to come in for breakfast?" I looked at Armaan trying to divert my attention from whatever that was happening between him and the girl.

"Sure." He smiled as he followed Tanvi and I inside, we settled down and placed our order.

"So, would you like to go out again?" Armaan looked at me with a beautiful smile, only if I hadn't been feeling things for Arnav, how great would this moment be right?

"Yeah, I'd love to." I smiled.

"Uh huh." Tanvi smirked at me, I just rolled my eyes at her and just then Arnav walked in.

"Oh, I dint know he was joining us." He said as he sat down beside Tanvi as Armaan was sitting beside me.

"Well if you weren't busy with that girl out there, you could have heard us when I invited him, is there a problem Arnav?" I asked.

"Nope, nothing." He shrugged.

"So Armaan, where are you from?" Tanvi asked.

"I just shifted here from Pune, mainly for college, and then since I came, I couldn't take my eyes off the beautiful girl." He smiled as he looked at me once again making me blush.

"Aww, so cute. So where are you taking her tonight for your second date, jeez I'm so excited for you guys." She said.

"You're going on a date again?" Arnav looked at me seriously like if he could, he would murder me right away. Why was he behaving this way seriously? I just couldn't understand him.

"Yeah Arnie, that's what people do, go on one date and if they like each other they go on another date, they don't just make out with girls and then never call them again." I looked at him angrily.

"So you're judging me now? I thought you were my best friend and best friends don't judge." He said.

"I'm not judging you Arnav, but why are you acting like this seriously?"

"I am sorry, I won't. My bad." He leaned back on his chair and looked everywhere else but at us.

I was so pissed at him seriously, why was he behaving this way? People only behaved this way when they liked someone in a romantic way and I don't think Arnav liked me that way, if he did he wouldn't be making out with different girls daily in front of me, so what was it?

"So you like me?" Armaan smirked as he looked at me.

"I dint say that yet, I just said I liked the date." I giggled.

"Okay, I promise after he second date you will like me very much." He winked at me.

"This food is taking forever, I am not patient, I'll see you later." Arnav said as he stood up angrily and walked away. If he was having all this problems why couldn't he just tell me what was bothering him?
