I thought it was just a stupid prank until the doorbell rang again today, at the same time, three o'clock in the morning. Seriously, who the hell was doing this?

I stood up and headed to open the door in a hurry hoping I would find someone but obviously whoever it was they had gone, but just like yesterday, there was a note on the floor. If I ever found out who was playing this prank on me, I was seriously going to kill him or her, whoever the hell it was.

I picked up the note curiously wondering what was written in it today, and when I read it, I was left quite shocked.

'I know your secret, tell it before I tell it for you.'

I shut the door immediately, leaning against it. Who was this person? What secret did they know? I dint really have much secrets, but was this the same I was thinking about? But how would anyone ever find out about it? it wasn't possible, it had always been hidden very deep to be found by someone just playing pranks.

Although yesterday it wasn't really scary, today I was actually scared, what if this wasn't just a prank? What if someone was actually doing this to harm me? I no more felt safe in this house all alone.

I made sure to double check the door and all the windows that they were locked well and then I headed back to my room, but I couldn't get any more sleep, the thoughts were disturbing me, I couldn't stop wondering why someone would suddenly decide to do a thing like this out of nowhere.

What did they want from me? and why did they bother if I let the secret out or not?

Was it just Arnav or Tanvi really trying to find out if I have kept any secrets from them? Maybe they were just playing around, but what if they weren't? God! Why was this so scary?

I had to do something about this, I had to really figure out if this was just some stupid prank or I really needed to be safe.

"Sup Shona." Arnav hit me on the back of my head with a book as he settled down beside me smirking like the idiot he was.

"Arniee! If someday I go crazy I'll blame it on you for hitting me every day." I pouted.

"You are already crazy." He laughed, I rolled my eyes and looked away from him, I stared at the board in front of me blankly, I still couldn't stop thinking about the note that I had received.

"You okay Shona? You seem lost." He asked.

"Are you seriously not playing the prank of leaving notes on my door? Or maybe it's Tanvi? Look I'm very serious about it." I looked at him seriously.

"Dude, I told you yesterday I'm not playing any pranks, that's the thing you and Arnav do, have I ever played any pranks on you?" Tanvi joined us.

"I received another note at three o'clock again, this is getting scary now." I looked at both my best friends nervously.

"Wow, it sounds serious. Maybe you should come stay at my place for a while or I can come stay at your place if you're scared." Tanvi suggested.

Ofcourse I was scared, some psychopath was leaving notes at my door step in the middle of the night, who wouldn't be scared.

"What did the note say?" Arnav asked.

"I know your secret, tell it before I tell it for you. I mean I don't even have any damn secret and even if I did, how would anyone find out about it?" I asked, well I did lie, there was a secret, but not even my best friends knew about it, so there was no way possible a stranger could have known it.

"If there's no secret you don't have to worry about anything. I'm sure it's someone just messing around, they will stop if you don't bother."

"But I'm scared."

"I know Shona, maybe Tanvi can come live with you, if you want I can also come stay with you for a while." Arnav suggested.

"I think you both should, let's see if there's anything tonight again, you will be there with me and maybe we can catch the person."

"You said it came at the same time twice right? We can stay away at that time and see who is doing all this." Tanvi suggested.

"Sounds like a plan." Arnav agreed. We all nodded in agreement and just then our lecturer walked in the class so we decided to get our heads into studies. At least both of them were going to be with me today, so I dint have to worry much.

"I really think it's one of those stupid girls that have a crush on Arnav and are jealous of you being close to him." Tanvi whispered to me.

"Shut up, don't blame my admirers. Besides if it was a jealous girl, she would send the note to you also, I'm as close to you as I am to Khushi." Arnav whispered back.

"Point." Tanvi nodded.

After the class, the three of us headed to the canteen to get something to eat, I wondered why neither of us were adding any weight, any time you'd see us we were always eating something.

As for me, deep down I was still worried, there was someone out there who maybe knew my secret, what if they let it out? It was going to be a disaster. I was scared as hell.

"Shona, don't worry, we will sort this out." Arnav said as he put his arm around my shoulder noticing that I was still worried.

"He is right, we won't be at peace until we figure this out, you don't have to worry about a thing." Tanvi said.

"See how those girls are looking at me because you are holding me like this? I bet it's one of those stupid jealous girls." I rolled my eyes at him.

"I'm telling you, I have the same feeling." Tanvi agreed.

Before Arnav could say anything, a group of girls stopped in front of us, they were blocking our way so we had to stop too.

"So Arnav, which one of the two is your girlfriend, or both?" The one that was leading them asked with a stupid smirk on her face.

"Jeez never!" Tanvi and I said in unison and then we both looked at each other and laughed.

"That was insulting." Arnav pouted at the both of us.

"It should be, neither of us can ever think of dating you." Tanvi laughed.

For the girls, Arnav was a hot and popular guy, basically what they always wanted, as for Tanvi and I, he was our best friend, we knew everything about him, even his dirty little secrets which neither of them knew so yeah, it was impossible for either of us to ever have any feelings apart from friendship for him.

"Great then, how about the two of us go on a date?" She smirked at him.

"Oh I would love that." Arnav said as he took his arm off me and moved closer to her, the girl was now blushing stupidly and Tanvi and I were exchanging looks at each other and rolling our eyes.

"Ladies, I'll see you later, I have a date." Arnav smirked at us as he walked away with that girl.

"Seriously, why don't guys ever ask us out? We are hot too." Tanvi said.

"Look who's talking, a lot of guys have asked you out, if anyone should be worried about not getting asked out, it's me." I sighed.

I mean it was strange actually, I had noticed so many guys staring at me, admiring me and stuff, but none of them had ever bothered to even come talk to me, as if someone had threatened to kill them in case they talked to me.

"Wait, what if there's some guy that has a secret crush on you and has warned all the guys to stay away from you? Maybe he is the one sending you the notes?" Tanvi looked at me in surprise.

"Could be possible given that no guy had ever dared to even talk to me. But why would he start sending me notes so suddenly? And if he had a crush on me or whatever, he would send me some love notes or whatever, not threatening ones." I said.

"We will make sure we catch the person tonight, then we can find out if he's scaring guys to stay away from you or not." Tanvi laughed as we both walked inside the canteen, Arnav had ditched us for another stupid girl. Seriously he never even dated any of them, he would just go on one date with them, flirt with them and never look at them again, what was the point of it all then?

At this moment I really hoped it was a stupid guy with a crush on me rather than anyone knowing the actual secret.
