I was woken up by the door bell ringing continuously, I wondered who it was, disturbing my sleep early in the morning. I stepped out of my bed feeling irritated already, I walked to the hall and opened the door as I yawned.

"Hello there, miss me?" Tanvi smiled brightly at me as she threw her arms around me hugging me happily.

"I would be excited if you showed up here a bit late." I pouted.

"Oh come on now." She pushed me inside and walked in too, and that's when it clicked me, since she left, a lot had happened between Arnav and I which she had no idea about.

I mean how were we going to tell her that her two best friends were now dating? How was she going to react? Was she going to be happy of us or was she going to be mad? This was pretty scary.

I had to talk to Arnav before telling her anything though, it was best if the both of us decided on what to do rather than making the decision on my own, after all she was both our best friend.

"How was your trip?" I asked as I sat opposite her, my sleep completely gone.

"It was good, I missed you guys though. I am so happy to be back finally. So tell me, what new happened while I was gone? Did you go on another date with Armaan?" She smirked at me.

"Nope." I shrugged as I stood up and walked to my room.

"Why not? I mean weren't you two so interested in each other? Then why haven't you gone on another date? Or did he do something wrong? I would punch him so bad." Tanvi said seriously making me laugh.

"No... he dint do anything. I just figured, I wasn't really that interested in him so I told him that."

"What? Why? I mean he is so hot." She laughed.

"I don't know, I just couldn't feel that way about him. Anyway let me take a shower then we can continued with your question and answer game." I smiled, she nodded as she headed back to the hall while I got into the shower.

I guess I dint really have to worry about Tanvi's reaction, I mean if she was ready to punch a guy for me, she was going to be happy about me and Arnav as long as we both were happy right?

Arnav. The moment I thought of him, a stupid smile would always appear on my face, it was funny how things between us had changed so suddenly.

I couldn't wait to see him though, I mean off late I just wanted to keep seeing that stupid handsome face of his, I was literally going crazy just thinking about him.

I walked out of the shower still smiling stupidly, I picked out an outfit and got dressed then headed out, I found Tanvi in the kitchen preparing some breakfast.

"We could just eat at the canteen." I said.

"We always do, I was bored while you were showering so I figured I would cook something, I even called Arnie and told him to come here for breakfast then we could all leave together for college." She said.

I wondered how this breakfast was going to be...

I rushed to open the door as soon as the doorbell rang, Tanvi looked at me wondering what was wrong with me but just ignored my reaction, I was so eager to see Arnav I even forgot we hadn't told Tanvi about us yet. I had to act normal until we told her though.

"Shona, you dint tell me this started again." He said as he waved a white paper in front of me.

"What?" I asked in confusion.

"The person that had been leaving you this." He handed me the paper which I quickly flipped and read what was written on the other side.

'Tik tok... the secret is coming out.' I looked at it nervously. I thought whoever this person was had stopped.

My first thought to who might be doing this went straight at Armaan, I mean everything seemed to be fitting in place, he looked quite like the guy we saw on the CCTV, and as soon as he approached me and we went on a date, the letters stopped and when I told him I dint want to be with him, they started again.

It had to be him!

"It wasn't there when I came." Tanvi said as she walked towards me and took it from my hand.

"What secret is this person talking about Khushi?" She looked at me seriously.

"I have no idea." I lied.

"Strange, whoever left it dint ring the doorbell this time?" Arnav asked.

"Nope." Tanvi and I both nodded, I heard the doorbell twice today once when Tanvi came and then right now when Arnav came, before that it never rang, also Tanvi said it wasn't there when she came, so it meant that someone left it here in the past half an hour or so.

"I'll check the footage." Arnav said as he rushed to my room to get the laptop, I was feeling really scared. If Arnav found out, he was going to hate me, I dint want to lose him, I dint want him to hate me, what was I going to do?

I wanted to stop this stupid person but I dint even know how.

Tanvi and I sat down beside Arnav who played the footage from the time Tanvi arrived, and like she said there was nothing then.... We watched the footage patiently hoping to finally see this person but he never showed up.

That piece of paper did though, it was like it wasn't there one moment and the next moment it came flying with the wind. I mean how could this person time it to fly with the wind and stop at the door, it could still fly away with more wind.

Arnav paused the footage and zoomed it a bit and we noticed a thing wire attached to the paper, you couldn't see it until it was really zoomed, so that's how we thought that it flew with the wind but it dint, someone was here, hiding from the camera but leaving it.

I was never going to find out who was doing this to me was I?

"I'll go check out see if there's anyone hiding somewhere." Tanvi stood up and rushed outside.

"It's okay Shona, I will find out who is doing this to you. Don't worry, as long as I am with you, nothing wrong will happen to you." He assured me.

"I am scared Arnie." I looked at him sadly.

"Don't worry, I am here, I'll make everything okay." He looked me into the eyes and smiled faintly, I nodded as he moved closer and placed a kiss on my forehead.

"What would I do without you in my life?" I pouted at him.

"You don't have to think that because you already have me, I'm going to be stuck with you forever Shona. And now that we're dating, someday I'm going to marry you and make you completely mine." He smirked.

"Aren't you dreaming a bit too far already." I giggled.

"What can I say, I have loved you for a long time now, and now that you reciprocate the feelings, I just feel more excited about it." He smiled as he tucked the strands of hair falling on my face behind my ears and stared at me, admiring me as if he had never seen me before.

"Will you always love me like this?" I looked at him hopefully, hoping that if he ever found out the things I had done in the past, he would somehow find a way to forgive me and love me despite it all.

"Always." He nodded with a smile. We heard footsteps so we moved a bit creating space between us so Tanvi would think anything suspicious, I figured Arnav also knew we had to tell her but he wasn't sure about it, no wonder he reacted just like I did.

"Did you see anyone?" Arnav asked.

"Nope, I think it's time we go to the police. This person seems really dangerous Khushi, I'm worried for you." Tanvi said as she came close to me and hugged me.

"I am worried too, but do you really think it's a good idea to go to the police, what if this person does something bad to me." I looked at her feeling scared, if this person managed to find out a secret no one knew about who knew what else he could do.

"We should think about this and decide what to do." Arnav said.

"I agree, let's discuss this after college today. Now don't worry much about it, let's go have breakfast." Tanvi grabbed my hand and pulled me along, so we all went to the hall to eat.

We all sat down together and served ourselves some food and just then Arnav's phone rang, I looked at him curiously, the letter had left me worried, what if it was the person sending it calling him to tell him about my secret?

"It's a new number." Arnav said as he swiped and received the call.

"Hello." He pressed the phone next to his ear, I looked at him nervously, my heart was beating so fast.

I saw his expressions change in a moment, he went from being calm to being angry in a matter of seconds, oh my God, it was happening.

Shit! Shit! Shit!

"Mrs. Raizada, I told you to stay the hell out of my life!" He shouted so angrily, it made me tremble in fear. I had never seen Arnav this angry apart from that one time in childhood, and trust me, it was scary.

He threw the phone at the wall right ahead of him as it fell down breaking into pieces. If this was his reaction just because his mother called him, how was he going to react knowing that I had been in touch with her ever since?
