Why is my goal

So far away

I can't reach out

And brush it with

My fingertips 

I WILL make it to 80

I will stay strong

I will fly

I will be brave

I will be skinny

And perfect

Not fat 

And ugly

At 95

People say I look thin

And sick

But I am not

I am still fat

And imperfect

Goals and dreams

Need to be achieved 

I will one day touch on 80

And then life will be 

Complete

And perfect
