I take thee to be my wedded spouse,
I also take thee to be my friend.

My partner in crime and my steadying hand.

Also my library for older memories.
With adventures and game nights and holiday cards
To joinedly experience many more of these.

For better, for worse, for richer for poorer

In sickness and in health, to love and to cherish,
You help me when I'm limping and I, you when you hurt.
I know love can't make all our demons just perish
But we can care for each other if we just keep this word.

Or life, I will utmost importantly add
Because sometimes time changes things in some people's hearts
And I'd never want you to feel cornered or trapped.

In this moment I want to spend every minute I've left
With you by my side, that's why I take this vow.
But I want us to be happy above everything else
And I'd never want this ring to be just for the show.

So if one day we decide we'd do better as friends
