I was facing in and out of consciousness. I heard Kira's voice, pleading me to come back. I eventually fall asleep. I dream of the day I met Kira .

I was texting my best friend Josh on the first day of school, when I heard a supervillain attack, and changed into my costume. I flew out and landed on a rooftop just as a girl barreled into me, knocking me over. She lifted her head, and I stared at the beautiful face for a few seconds. I blushed, then she blushed harder, and picked herself up.

"H-Hi! I'm sorry..."

"N-No, No, that's alright. I-I...um-"

I gulped. I had forgotten my name. I was lost in her eyes. Those big, blue, beautiful eyes.

"I am the Blonde Phantom. I'm a villain. You?"

I melted a little inside. She was beautiful. I was instantly drawn to her, and she was... a villain. How cruel life was.

"Oh... I-I'm a-a hero."

"Oh."

Another moment of staring. She blushed really hard and turned away, pulling out her sword.

"Well then, Hero, let's fight!"

I pulled out my axe and it hit her. She fell to the ground. Every fiber of my being told me not to, but I ran to her side and cried out her name. Suddenly, she pounced up and put her sword to my neck.

"Well, you're quite the actress"

"What can I say? The acting is strong in this one!"

" I think we are going to be good enemies, Blonde Phantom."

She let go of me and I dropped to the ground. She helped me up as she responded, then swung her sword into it's hilt.

"Likewise..."

"Oh! Right! I'm Invisiboy."

"Invisiboy! Just... try not to fall for me, ok? I know I'm beautiful, but..."

She looked me up and down.

"Yeah, no."

"Ha ha. You wish. And for the record, I wouldn't kiss you if you were the last girl in the world. "

"Eh, you'll fall for me someday. You can't help it!"

She blew a kiss and hopped away. I rolled my eyes, blushing in spite of myself. I heard the school bell. Shoot. I'm going to be late. I flew home, ripped my costume off, grabbed an apple, and ran to school. I was right on time. I asked the teacher where my seat was. She pointed to the seat in the front row, next to a cute girl scribbling in a notebook. She looked so familiar, as if I had just seen her. But I would have remembered meeting someone like her, so happy, beautiful, and friendly. I awkwardly sat down, not knowing how to start conversation. Josh, sitting behind me with his girlfriend Brianna, tapped me on the back.

"Hey, dude. You gonna say hi to her?"

"How do I start a conversation?"

Brianna responded.

"Compliment her, dude!"

I turned to face the girl, then looked down at her drawings. It was a drawing of... INVISIBOY! I smirked.

"Hey! That's a nice drawing, you an Invisiboy fan too?"

She jumped, and turn turned to looked at me, her bright blue eyes lingering on mine just a few seconds too long. She suddenly looked a little flustered. She blinked, slightly pink in the cheeks. I felt uncomfortable and was about to turn away, cursing myself for even bothering to speak when she responded. She had a beautiful voice.

"Yeah... He's just so smart, kind, funny, and soooo handsome."

A blush danced across my face but quickly vanished.

Brianna leaned forward and giggled.

"I know, right?"

Josh gaped at her.

"Bri, I'm right here!"

"Sorry. but it's true. He's Hilltown's heartthrob!"

She batted her eyes. Josh punched her arm playfully and me and the other girl laughed.

"I'm Kira Lotusbeam!"

"Jackson Roberts!"

" I think we are going to be good friends."

Was that the same girl I fell for? Was that the same girl who almost ended my life? Or has becoming a couple, though amazing, made us a cliche?

"Jack? I'm here for you. Please get better. I need you! I'd go crazy without you here ever day... because...I...I... I love you."

A girl caressed my cheek. Kira. I held her close and kissed her with my little strength. She stared at me, shocked, as her face came into view. It wasn't Kira. A blushing Brianna stood alone in front of me.

"Jackson! You're awake! I-um... I-I-you... didn't hear anything, did you?"

"Oh my god!... I... I... I'm sorry... I thought-"

"I was Kira? Of course."

She seemed suddenly angry, and was that... jealousy in her voice? But... Brianna was with Josh! She couldn't... like ME?!

"Bria-"

"No... i-it's ok... I-I didn't mean that I... This was a mistake..."

" No, I'm sorry... I didn't-"

An awkward silence as what just happened dawned on us. I put my good hand up to my hair, blushing. What did I just do? She was red as a tomato.

"So... Josh is on his way. I reached before and wanted to say hi and..."

Her voice trailed off.

"Yeah."

We both stared at each other uncomfortably, then quickly looked away. Had it suddenly become very hot in there? I fidgeted with my fingers as she hummed a tune, neither looking at the other. Josh burst in, startling both of us.

"Bro? Oh my god bro, I thought you died!"

He hugged me,while I just smiled awkwardly at Brianna because of how much my friends loved me. Some in different ways than others, but... NO. Don't think about this.

"Curse that Blonde Phantom for attacking you! But she can't hurt you anymore from jail! Kira texted that she was sick and coul-"

"JAIL?!"

I flipped on the T.V. and turned on the news.

"... In today's news, the Blonde Phantom was put under arrest for injuring a teenage boy by the name of Jackson Roberts, her superfan."

She kept talking, but my mind tuned it all out.
