You squat down and lower the weapon in your hand. 

"I don't want to hurt you." You promise, "Do you want to be allies?"

The girl's brown eyes are wary as she looks at you, scared, but nods her head. You lead her back to the Cornucopia where you and her sets up tents and a roaring fire. 

The girl-whose name is Mazie- is so grateful that she hugs you, and goes into one of the tents to curl up, nice and warm. 

You decide to keep watch and gaze out into the icy landscape.
