It's so dark. But.....it's still bright outside, so, how is it that even with all the windows the building is engulfed in darkness? And I have to buy some coke too.
Ikaru was now standing inside the school building which apparently lacked light. "..." He started to walk towards the staircase. That window.....Suzuki-san and that University student were looking at it as if it made them feel uneasy. Why is that? He started climbing up the stairs one step at a time. The air inside the school was chilly and had an eerie feel to it. Dark.
A chill ran down Ikaru's spine as he finally reached the next floor. His fight or flight instincts were kicking in. What the hell? Useless legs. He was trembling for some reason.
*Tick-tock*
*Tick-tock*
The sound of a clock could be heard from a nearby classroom.
*Tick-tock*
*Tick-tock*
Sweat was running down his neck now, his heart was beating fast. "What the hell? Why am I freaking out now!?" He muttered. He was walking towards the room to which the window belonged.
Human beings are curious animals. They have a weird habit of getting interested in things that don't even concern them. Their curiosity helps them to develop and gain knowledge but that's what makes them.....dangerous.
*Tap tap* Ikaru continued to walk until he finally reached infront of the door. It wasn't particularly locked or anything either. Something is wrong.
Ikaru grabbed the handle and pushed the door,
*Creak*
The window was open and it was letting the wind in. The sky outside was covered with clouds. Everything had become truly dark. The crows silently stared at the petty humans, observing their every move. Crows.....they are misunderstood creatures. They are often associated with gloom, despair and.....death. Crows are beautiful......like death itself.

"Jeez...where the hell is Ikaru?" Shieta grumbled. She and her friends were watching anime, having fun and eating some snacks.
"Monaka-chan! Look, this scene is so epic!"
Who cares.....for now I'll have fun and deal with Ikaru later. "I know, right!" Shieta replied excitedly.

She jumped down. The wind gushed past her hair and her body felt light. She prepared herself to land. Bend the knees slightly and cover your head with your hands. Upon landing, roll to reduce the impact.
*Thump*
Her landing was perfect but she now was in pain. She had landed on her previous wounds. Shit. There were a few more scratches on her because (she wasn't an anime protagonist) she had landed on hard ground and rolled herself on it, on top of that. This was nothing compared to what she faced every night. She got up and brushed off the dirt from her clothes. A chill ran down her spine. The made her hair sway. Why do I feel weird.....is it......intuition?

Ikaru started shivering violently. "Um...." He clumsily made his way in. As soon as he did that, a strong gush of wind made the door bang against the wall. The window was shut now, due to the wind too.
Dark.
"Shit! The light! Gotta find the light!" Ikaru was just at the entrance so he was able to find the light switch easily. The tube light flickered on. Ikaru no longer felt scared so he breathed a sigh of relief.
The room was filled with all kinds of things. They were arranged in a row of shelves like in a library. Trophies, medals, some junk and more junk. Some old photos were there too. Whoa.....it's cold! And is this a storage room? Ikaru looked around. There were two peculiar objects in the room. Objects that certainly didn't belong in a school.
A stake and a torch.
Ikaru slowly extended his hand in order to grab the stake but right then,
"Hehehehe!"
"What the hell? This again?" Ikaru was startled. "WHO'S THERE?" Ikaru looked around while panicking.
"Hehehehe!"
The lights flickered as if someone was deliberately turning the switches on and off. Beads of sweat trickled down his forehead even though the room was cold. He frantically searched for the source of the voices he'd heard a few moments ago, his breathing was heavy and his heart was beating a mile a minute.
"Damn it!" He muttered under his breath, "Where the hell are they?" He felt someone whisper in his ears, "What are you doing here, mister?" He turns around, startled. There was no one in the vicinity. He'd heard that childish voice yet again. The flickering finally stopped but by then, the lights had been switched off.
"Hehehehe! Hahahaha!"
The laughter was cold and wasn't filled with any emotion. His legs start to tremble with fear. Courage alone wasn't enough to continue, what he needed was light. It was foolish of him to leave his flashlight and cell phone in the guard room. His eyes adjusted to the dark but it was still very dark.
*Clank - clink*
Something made a ringing noise.......likely to be made by a metallic object.
*Bang*
Something was dropped on the floor. He couldn't move. His pupils dilated. He was paralyzed. No sound, no movement and no laughter. The next moment, he was pushed to the floor, face-first.
"Why are you here, mister?"
That was the last voice he'd heard....... before falling unconscious.
Death is such a beautiful thing. People fear it because they don't understand that the life they are holding on to has no meaning without death. But what people should be terrified of is -holding on to life even after death- it won't make sense to many "normal" people.
Humans have a tendency to ignore important things and focus on unimportant things. They fear something that may not even exist yet they are oblivious to the demons that exist in their own minds.
Death-life, hope-despair and kill-or be killed.
“What people commonly call fate is mostly their own stupidity.”
—Arthur Schopenhauer, a German philosopher once quoted. But that doesn't mean that stupidity is something that is wrong. Our fate is such that no matter what we do, as human beings, we make mistakes and learn, we be stupid and learn. Fate isn't on anyone's side, instead, it dominates us and makes itself necessary. It can be a blessing but at the same time, it can be.....
A pain in the ass.
