Tord's POV

We get to the little shop and get out of the car. Edd and I start walking to the door. "So Edd about what we were talking about in the car. Gems or Diamonds?" He answers quickly.

"Gems!" Well now that that's out of the way. "Okay what kind?" He thinks for a bit. "Well when we were in the car I narrowed it down to Peridot which is his birthstone and Sapphire which is his favorite character."

He starts to get lost in his thoughts and almost runs into the door. "I think I should do Peridot." I don't think he's noticing any of his surroundings.

"So Edd, are you excited?" I look to the nervous wreck you know as Edd. "Y-yeah! Just uh super nervous I mean what if he's says no?" I put my hand on his shoulder. "He won't don't say the what ifs" We walked through the doors, the gems sparkling in the lights above us as we walked by. A lady walked in front of us smiling behind the counter. "So, who's the lucky lady~"

Edd turned pale.

Edd's POV

"Um... Mmmmmatillda?" Tord looked at me and back to the lady, Emma, as said on her name tag. "Matt, his name is Matt."

Emma looked at me confused and raised an eyebrow.

"Oh okay... Um I wish you guys a swell time together" I finally let out a breath of relief. Tord puts his hand on my shoulder and we walk around the store.

"Hey this ones pr-" out of the corner of my eye I see a familiar face. "-etty..." I turn around and run up to the smol brunette. I walk up and hug her. Tord continues to walk around.

"Ell, it's been so long how's it going!" She smiles, "I'm doing good, you?" "Well-"

Tord walks over and cuts me off. "He's proposing to his boyf and are you two like-"

"Twins," Ell and I say at the same time giggling afterwards.

Tord chuckles, "Should've known... Well Edd look around some more and then we need to leave my parents should be at the house in an hour."
