Run

The sun set on the peaceful city of Tokyo, Japan. It had been a bright and sunny Friday, the birds chirping and the light breeze making everyone smile. Despite it being almost winter, the whether was still warm and friendly however, it was currently the dark evening, almost nine o'clock. Many small local businesses had just locked their doors for the night and were headed back to their comfy homes after a hard day of labor and bitchy customers.

The Bakugo Dojo was no expection; they had closed earlier than usual due to exhausted staff. Upon the locked bamboo doors that stood high among the others down this block hung a handwritten sign that dangled perfectly symmetrical to the ground. It's message was a simply put warning reminding possible intruders that this is, in fact, a martial arts dojo. A dojo with no mercy on it's willing victims at that.

Most of the Bakugo residence was ready to hit the sheets and rest for the upcoming day. Mitsuki Bakugo had just locked the double doors that separated the dojo area from their connected home area with a satisfying click. She lazily slipped the keys into her rob pocket as she swayed her way down towards the kitchen, the lanyard swinging back and forth as she went. Her tea should be done by now.

Mitsuki's fluffy white slippers skid against the hardwood floors, creating a similar echo down the long dark hallway. In the distance was the only light on at the moment that was coming from the kitchen. Approaching the kitchen doorway, she observed her son filling a metal water bottle in the sink. He didn't spare her a glance as he turned off the tap and tightly clamped the bottle shut. He was dressed in a baggy black hoodie, grey sweat pants with an orange backpack slug over his shoulder. By the looks of it, he was going out for his evening run. Mitsuki would have usually scolded her son to go rest for the following day however, today she was too exhausted to get into another heated arguement with her just as temperamental son.

So instead she opted for letting her son be and retrieving her much needed sleepy time tea so she could finally meet up with her husband in their bedroom.

"Be back by eleven brat. Our students don't need a groggy instructor," Mitsuki mumbled as she crossed through the kitchen to the stove to retrieve the tea cup she had prepared earlier. "And oce your shoulder when you get back. Injuries don't heal completely by themselves, meat head."

Her son grunted a 'whatever' in response as he shoved the bottle into his backpack without another word and slung it over his uninjured right shoulder. As he walked by his mother in annoyance, Mitsuki reached up and ran her hand through her son's spiky, yet surprisingly soft, hair that matched her own. The only difference being the length, Mitsuki's hair being at her mid-back and Katsuki's being not even to his shoulders. Katsuki was used to the gesture from his mother so he didn't protest against it. He continued walking out towards the back door, but not before muttering a quick 'I'll be back'.

"Of course you will Katsuki," Mitsuki chuckled into her tea.

~·~·~·~·~

Normally, Katsuki would have actually gone for a run around the nearby park in order to clear his mind. He loved the alone time it offered and the rush of not knowing what he might come across in the last few hours of the day however, that wasn't the case this evening.

The ash blonde was currently stuffed in the corner of his friend's house, bored out of his mind. Denki Kaminari, the school's well known party boy, decided to have some friends over for a 'small get together', which is exactly what he told his parents. Originally, yeah, Kaminari did plan on only inviting his closer friends until word got out about his parents absence. And who was Denki to deny people from having a good time?

The crowd of drunk students were nearly shoulder to shoulder with the amount of room left between them. Katsuki himself was also cramped up in the crowded living room, sipping from his water bottle that was now filled with the vodka that his friend Kirishima had originally brought as a party favor. He watched as his closet friends partied the night away with cheap beer and jello shots. Sure, it looked fun but Katsuki really wasn't planning on arriving home drunk off his ass. Maybe a little tipsy.

Katsuki watched in assessment as a couple who were previously licking each others face off had collapsed and managed to knock a family photo off the wall, the glass shattering upon hitting the ground. Denki's parents would be furious if they were to see this sight in their own home.

Katsuki sight was beginning to become a little fuzzy after finishing a quarter of his bottle and getting more bored and disinterested as the time went on. He liked coming to parties when he felt like it but he had already had a long week of school and work. He decided he would get a beer or two for the road and then head home for the night. It was already three quarters past when he was supposed to come home but seeing as how he hadn't received an angry phone call from his mother yet, he could assume his parents were long asleep. The ash blonde stood and walked towards the kitchen, a path clearing for himself as he shoved through the crowd of drunk strangers.

As he reached the kitchen and took a quick glance around the room, he recognized a few familiar faces. Some being classmates, past classmates and even former students of his. In one corner over by the refrigerator he recognized his friend Ashido reaching around for something in the freezer. In another corner was a goth girl that he noted was in his japanese class talking with what looked to be a preppy girl around their age, along with a few other people he didn't recognize hanging out around the party snacks. He ignored them as he saw one other person he recognized hanging out alone by the box of beer he was looking for. The person's heterochromatic eyes stared down into the red solo cup in his hand as he swirled his drink around in boredom.

Shouto Todoroki was a well known face around their college campus seeing as how he was the administrators son and had come out as bisexual a year or so ago. Normally whenever a male comes out as anything that's not the heterosexual norm, especially in Japan, it's frowned upon and most of the time that person is bullied over the edge. Shouto was the exception.

He was so stunningly beautiful, even with his mysterious scar over his left eye. If anything, it made him even more appealing to the eye. He came from an incredibly wealthy family and was always dressed in clothing that showed off his toned, slim figure. He had the whole spectrum of genders wanting him to be theirs however, for whatever reason, the dual haired college student only had eyes for Katsuki.

It might be for the fact that on the day Shouto came out, there was a group of homophobic kids who were planning to jump him later that day and had made the wrong move on inviting Katsuki to join the 'fun', to which he agreeded, only to later give them their our private 'martial arts demonstration' at the location they planed to go through with the attack. Shouto watched the whole interaction from a safe distance without the blondes knowledge.

Katsuki knew of the existence of Shouto's feelings due to rumor getting out but never acknowledged them.

The blonde, just wanting to go home, walked over to retrieve his beer. Todoroki looked up from his drink in his hand to meet the approaching running shoes, which slowly traced up the blonde's figure before making eye contact with Bakugou. Their heights reached around the same, both males being around 6' 3'', with Katsuki's crimson eyes meeting the heterochromatic ones of Todoroki.

"Bakugou," Todoroki's smooth voice said with a small genuine grin. They hadn't been this close to each other in a while despite Todoroki trying to get close to the blonde any chance he got . The dual haired boy felt his heart flutter in excitement. Maybe this is his chance to really get close to the other on a personal level. "It's good seeing you out of a school setting. You look great."

Katsuki really wasn't in the headspace to converse right now, much less with this guy. "Well, don't get too comfortable. I'm leaving," Katsuki answered, side eyeing the other as he reached past him and into the box to retrieve his beverage.

Shouto's smile wavered but tried not to make it too noticeable. His eyes trailed themselves down to Katsuki's muscular forearm as it reached past him into the cardboard box next to him labeled 'Crown Blue'. Shouto couldn't let an opportunity for communication be taken away just as quickly as it was given. He had to get closer with this intelligent, strong yet stubborn man.

"That's a shame. I was really hoping to get to know you better." Todoroki croaked out with a pout, one hand setting down his cup and the other brought up to slide down Katsuki's forearm, his touch like feathers. The dual haired wielder never acts this way but what can he say, he's truly become desperate at this point. The light touch made the hairs on Katsuki's arm raise and made him become highly aware of the situation. The blonde couldn't help but chuckle to himself as he pulled his arm back, a beer clutched in his hand.

Katsuki quirked his head to the side, a dumb smirk playing on his lips as his crimson eyes bored into the others mismatched ones. The hell was this twink playing at?

"Hah, sure. Why the hell would you want to do that?" He scoffed before he felt the other's hand reach out for his own. The pale hand of Shouto brought up Katsuki's rough hand to his face before resting his lips on the blonde's knuckles in a light, yet meaningful kiss on his ring finger.

"I would simply like to get to know you better Bakugo. Every part of you."

Minutes later, under the stairs of the Kaminari residence, the pair that were casually egging each other on in the kitchen were now practically attached to each other, both quickly losing their air. Shouto's shoulders was pressed up against the wall with his left hand rubbing circles on Katsuki's waist while the other was loose in the mess of blonde hair. Katsuki's hands gripped roughly on Shouto's waist that he was sure it would leave bruising for the next few days. Maybe a little marking like this will remind this idiot to stay away from Katsuki.

Their heavy pants were hidden well thanks to the loud commotion going on about ten feet away from them and Katsuki couldn't be more thankful for that. They both had to disconnect for air soon however one of them didn't want to let go for a second, scared the man in front of him might disppear if their lips left one another. The battle for oxygen won in the end and the two separated, their limbs still entagled. Shouto's mouth hung open, panting as his head tilted back in order to regain air quicker as a thin river of saliva ran down the side of his mouth. His two toned eyes narrowed as he pulled teasingly on the other's hoodie strings.

Katsuki took in the sight and suddenly realized all too well why Todoroki was chased after. Katsuki lowered his mouth to the dual haired boys neck and began his work there. Shouto's reaction was instant and both his hands were raised to the blondes neck, pulling desperately on his neck and hood.

Katsuki pulled Shouto's waist even closer to his own, grinding slowly on the other. The grey and blue eyes of the other shot open in surprise and his breathy whines echoed in Katsuki's ear. Shouto titled his head back further, the blissful feeling of lips on his neck and roughness on his lower regions getting to him.

Then, just as abruptly as it started, Katsuki releases Shouto's hips and stepped back, just as flushed as the other.

"Why- hm," Todoroki whined from the loss of warmth. "Why did you stop? I'm okay." He tried pulling him back in again but this time the blonde stood his ground and didn't move a muscle. Katsuki clicked his tongue in mild annoyance before looking the other in the eyes. "We won't be doing anymore of that," Katsuki said as he adjusted his clothing and sloppily ran his hand through his hair.

Shouto was about to protest but stopped instantly when he noticed Katsuki stepped closer to him once again.

Todoroki's eyes fluttered closed when he felt Katsuki's hand reach up to grip his jaw, gently this time. Their lips met softly for a few seconds before Katsuki pulled away and turned on his heels and walked back into the crowded area of drunks.

After all that went down a few minutes ago, there was nothing Katsuki wanted to do more than to head home and collapse on his bed. Maybe he should have gone on a run.

He swung his water bottle back and forth as he walked on the side walk past the park he would normally do his run, the vodka inside swishing around. He was coming up to the corner where he would normally cross to the other side of the street when he caught a glance of something shiny from the other side of the park bushes.

He stopped for a second, moving his head in different directions to see if his mind was playing games with him. Turns out it wasn't, there was most definitely an object making the annoying light. Katsuki normally would have continued his journey back home however the alcohol in his system must not be agreeing with him since he was now curiously walking around the bushes in order to find the light source. He was already late for his curfew, what's a few more minutes.

He took a few steps backwards and past the first set of bushes at the front of the park. Katsuki walked further until he could see the big mermaid water fountain the was spitting out water into designs in the air however, that wasn't what the blonde was paying the most attention to.

Sitting cross legged on the edge on beautiful fountain was an equally as beautiful petite male with the sleeves of his maroon hoodie pulled up to his elbow. Katsuki could hear occasional sniffles and huffs coming from the boy. In their shaky hands seemed to be a switch blade which was grasped tightly in the pale boy's hand.

The light coming from the street lamp about fifteen feet away seemed to be the hitting the blade which was most likely causing the ray of light to hit Katsuki earlier. The blonde watches the boy curiously from a distance as he looked up at the moon above him before his shoulders slumped in what looked like defeat. They carries there eyes back down to the blade, caressing it as if it were a family pet. More soft sniffles of the boy are heard as a second later, the blade is dragged roughly across the males forearm. Immediately blood begins to slip through the cut and trail down his arm. With that, Katsuki couldn't just sit and watch any longer.

"Hey!!" Katsuki yelled as he jogged over to the injured boy. The boy was understandably startled by the sudden outburst and pointed the blade in Katsuki's direction in self defense. The blonde slowed his steps a couple of feet away, panting lowly. The other glared into Katsuki with his untamed hair hanging over his big emerald eyes. He sniffled and huffed as he reached up to grasp the blade with both hands.

"What the hell are you doing?" The blonde's low voice asked, more like demanded to know. Blood from the boys forearm dripped onto the concrete as he continued to point the knife at Katsuki's chest. Katsuki slowly set down his water bottle to hopefully seem less threatening in this situation.

"Cutting myself, what does it look like?" The boys snarky tone answered. He gripped the knife tighter, sitting up straighter, trying to intimidate the other.

"Well, duh, that much is obvious." Katsuki said, rolling his eyes, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. He slowly took a few shuffle steps closer, now only a meter between him and the knife targeted towards his chest. The boy looked to be even more frightened now, seeming to be scared speechless. Katsuki huffed to finish his question.

"What I mean is, why?" Katsuki asked, his head tilted up slightly while crimson eyes stared down into the emerald ones that tried to hold back gallons of tears. Katsuki took his last step closer until the blade was practically poking his chest, no visible fear on his face.

The boys eyes widened before he slowly began to lower his blade, the collar of his hoodie sagging low on his shoulders.

"Because I deserve it." He managed to mumble out. He brought the blade closer to his body again, quickly slashing into his forearm again. Katsuki reacted quickly by slipping the blade out of the others hand before they could go in a third time. The other boy didn't even attempt to get it back, just shrunk into himself, expecting this stranger to finish him off on his own. He sobbed into his chest and knees, waiting for the end to come. He sat sobbing for a couple seconds before realizing that no harm was being done to him. They looked up from the knees he was hiding in to see crimson eyes starring into his own. The stranger was crouched next to him, holding out a metal water bottle for the petite boy.

"Gimme your arm, dumbass. It'll get infected if you just leave it like that." The blonde said as he crouched down slightly to be eye to eye with the other. "Where did you get this?" Katsuki's voice questioned in a low octave as he waved the knife in front of him. The boy was frozen, stuck in time as he stared at Katsuki in disbelief. With a somewhat aggravated grunt, the blonde grabbed the others forearm and brought it closer to himself. The green haired boy flinched back and attempted to take back his arm but to no avail. Katsuki checked out the deep slashes in his forearms as he slide the knife on the ground. This kid would bleed out soon if his injuries weren't treated and cleaned.

Katsuki snatched back his water bottle back and uncapped it. He brought it up to the boys arm before he splashed some of the liquid on the green haired boys injury, which the boy had assumed was water until he felt the aching sting of it. "Ow! What the heck! Let me go!!" The boy protested.

The other tried to pull his arm back but it was no use, it didn't budge from the blonde's grasp. "Relax, it's just alcohol. Vodka if you want to be specific. It'll work for now until I can get some proper disinfectant," Katsuki said to try to calm the other's nerves.

"V-Vodka?" The boys shaky voice asked before huffing in annoyance. The hell was this guy doing walking around with a bottle of vodka? "The best thing for fixing mistakes." Katsuki said in a jokingly manner. It actually managed to get a chuckle out of the other.

Katsuki turned his arm around, letting the access alcohol drip down onto the concrete.

"So, are you gonna tell me your name? I mean I did just use up my vodka on your dumb actions." The blonde said as his eyes flicked back up at the boy from his crouched position on the ground. The green haired boy released a breath he didn't know he was holding in. What the hell was with this guy and all the questions?

"You did that on your own free will," The green haired boy said, reluctantly scooting closer to the other with an annoyed huff. The blonde rolled his eyes as he turned the others forearm to let more of the access drip.

"But, uh, my name's Izuku Midoriya. What's yours?" Izuku asked, squeezing his legs closer to his chest, burrowing his cheeks in his knees.

"Katsuki Bakugou. Let me bandage this real quick and then-" Katsuki stopped mid way through his statement when he realized that he wasn't wearing his backpack he had on earlier that was equipped with a first aid kit. He muttered a 'shit' before looking up at Izuku who looked lost.

The last thing Katsuki wanted to do was head back to Kaminari's house to retrieve his bag and risk bumping into Todoroki again however he wasn't about to leave this kid bleeding out in a park alone.

"Can you walk?" The blonde asked the other as he leaned over to swipe up the blade again. "Uh, I think so, why?"

Katsuki capped the bottle before he stood up and extended his hand to the other. "Come on, I'll have an easier time patching you up at my place." Izuku starred up at the other, contemplating the quickly escalating situation. A tall, muscular stranger who had showed up minutes ago to apparently try to help him was now requesting that he follows him home to patch up. Izuku wasn't so sure about this man's request however Katsuki still had his knife and he wasn't about to leave it with this stranger.

His green eyes looked upon the extended hand in front of him and anxiously reached out to grasp it with both hands. Katsuki pulled the other to his feet and they both realized quickly that Izuku was dizzy due to blood lose. Izuku gripped tightly to the other's hoodie sleeve in order to stay on his feet.

"Shit, let's hurry," Katsuki said trying to straighten up the other. Izuku seemed to be about 5' 5'', only to Katsuki's shoulder which made walking even more difficult. The blonde bent down lower in order to wrap a supportive arm under the boy's arms.

Katsuki heard the other grumble something but didn't bother trying to figure out what it was. Izuku was on the verge of collapse and he didn't want to waste any energy.

"Just hang on. We're not far."
