I thought the hardest thing I'd ever have to do was learn how to live my life without the other half of my heart...

And that was true up until I watched my not-so-little baby board a plane on her own to travel the world for a year. The first few weeks were okay; I missed her like crazy but used the new free time to catch up on work, spend more time with the guys, and even play that new video game she bought me. But then the guys got busy with their own lives and I was caught up with work and had already beaten the game twice over.

The house was quiet, days lonely and I realized that without Bells and the guys, I really didn't have much in my life.

"Daddy?" I'm pulled out of my thoughts and turn to see Bells at my door.

"I've been calling your name for ages. Don't tell me you're going senile already; you're still pretty young," she teases, walking up to my desk.

"Hey! You brat, I'll have you know that I'm as sharp as a tack still."

"Mhmmmm. Anyway, Uncle Tae called and wants you to know that we are supposed to be at his place by four."

"Okay, I'll go and get ready."

Twenty minutes later, we are pulling into Tae's driveway and I watch as Bells quickly rushes out of the car just to be swallowed up by her uncles. I swear they missed her more than I did and of course, she just eats up all the attention.

"Uncle Jiminie, will you please take me shopping this weekend? I want to get a few new outfits before school starts."

"Of course, little darling," he obliges and I can't help but roll my eyes as she squeals and goes to find Angie.

"Stop being jealous, you dumb bunny," he smirks at me and I scoff. "I can't help that I'm every Jeon woman's favorite guy."

"Definitely not."

"Hey Bells! Who's your favorite?" Jimin yells across the yard.

"Yoongs!" she answers before thinking and she's suddenly being bombarded by her other uncles who are most definitely jealous.

"You're an ass," I scold as I go over to save my girl.

"Relax, guys, that question wasn't worded right. Bells who's your favorite person in the whole wide world?" I ask and then I suddenly start to panic as I watch her eyes drift over to a smug Yoongi.

"Uh...," I don't know if I can take the betrayal of her saying Yoongi.

"Ollie!" she shouts and runs from the crowd.

"I told you not to call me that anymore," he laughs embracing her.

"She was clearly going to say me," Jin says and the others quickly start bickering with him.

Yoongi is still smugly standing at the edge of the group.

"I'm her dad," I mouth and he laughs.

"And?" he says walking over to me.

"I'm just fucking with you. No one comes before you but at least I'm before those fools," he raises his brows at the grown men arguing.

I laugh but then find myself watching Bells laugh with the kids.

"Do ya'll see what I see?" Tae says coming to stand with us.

"That kid doesn't stand a chance," Yoong's mumbles and Tae sharply inhales.

"What are you even saying? Ollie is perfect, any girl would be lucky to have him."

"She doesn't seem like that. He's just a kid to her."

"To who?" I ask confused about what they're talking about.

"To Bean."

"WHAT!" I say loudly and everyone turns to look at me. I feel my face heat and turn my back to form a circle with the other two.

"Bells will never date Ollie," I say in a hushed voice.

"Why not? He'd treat her well and she did always call him a little prince."

"He's not a prince and Yoongi is right. He's still a kid."

"He's smart, responsible, and the sweetest guy around. Plus, he graduated early, so they will be starting college together; I'm sure they will have classes together."

"This can't be happening. They have one class together, next thing you know, they're holding hands and falling in love!" I say my voice rising slightly.

"They fall in love!" Tae says happily.

"And get married," Yoongi adds and I feel my heart sink into my stomach.

The two burst out laughing and slap my back playfully. "Relax Kook, we are just teasing you. You still got time before any of that happens." Yoongi reassures me.

My girl comes skipping over to us and the guys straighten.

"Daddy, can I go with Ollie tonight to watch that new Marvel movie?" she asks happily.

"No."

Her face drops and she looks so confused.

"Why? The others are going too," she whines and I feel Yoongi nudge me.

"Uh, I guess if everyone else is going, it should be fine," I mumble and she laughs.

"Are you alright? You have been weird lately," she presses her hand to my forehead, checking for a fever and the two guys snicker beside me.

"Yeah, I'm good, little baby. Make sure you're home at a decent hour, okay?"

"I will be! Thanks, love you," she kisses my cheek and skips off to the others.

"Looks like you don't have as much time as you think," Tae says as we watch Bells playfully nudge Ollie.

I spend the rest of the afternoon trying to laugh and enjoy the food with the others, but I can't shake the feeling that everything is about to change for me again...and, this time, I'll actually be all alone.
