Sam woke up with the feeling of body warmth on his chest. He heard soft snores come from the sleeping brunette. Sam smiled to himself. He was glad that Colby was sleeping so peacefully. 

Sam put the back of his hand on Colby's forehead. Sam let out a relieved sigh, Colby wasn't burning up anymore. Thank god.. Sam didn't know if he could see Colby hurting for any longer, so Sam was obviously happy that Colby was getting better. 

Sam tried to get up but instantly stopped in his tracks by the sound of a groan coming from the brunette. 

"You okay Colbs?" Sam's soft voice calmed Colby down instantly. Colby let out a groan while he nuzzled his head in Sam's chest, not realizing what he was doing.

Colby just let out a groan. His head was throbbing but at least this time it wasn't exactly horrible. Sam just wrapped his arms around the brunette a little tighter than before in a protective position. Sam also didn't really know what he was doing either. His mind was foggy, from everything that happened he was trapped inside of his thoughts and especially being worried about Colby.

"Colby.. I have to make breakfast for everyone.." Colby just groaned but he got up so then Sam could leave, even though Colby didn't want Sam to go. 

"I'll be back okay?" Sam whispered softly, caressing Colby's cheek without realizing what just took place. Sam stopped dead in his tracks and just grinned awkwardly with a light blush creeping onto his face, taking his hand away from Colby's cheek. 

When Sam left, Colby was still a light shade of pink, but thankfully Sam didn't notice.

*Downstairs with Brennen, Sam, and of course Uncle Elton*

"Hey Sam, How's Colby?" Elton asked with a small smile. Sam never noticed the look on Brennen's face, Brennen was jealous.. Like always. 

"He seems okay, but hes still not okay enough for me to not worry about him." Sam gave a small smile but then it was instantly switched into a sad look. Everyone knew that Sam loved Colby with all his heart. Even Brennen knew, but he couldn't admit it. He needed to keep Colby for himself.

"Hey Sam, can I talk to you for a minute?" Brennen asked while standing up from the couch. Sam nodded with a raised eyebrow as they walked out the front door. Brennen leaned on the exterior wall as Sam stood there with his hands in his jean pockets. 

"I was just wondering.. What were you and Colby doing upstairs?" Brennen asked, fixing his hair a little while staring at Sam, dead in the eyes.

Sam gulped, He knew they didn't do anything bad.. It's just that it's definitely awkward to talk about.. It's Sam's privacy though.

"Nothing. I just had to comfort him." Sam said sternly, while he looked into the bright blue sky with clouds covering the sun by just a little bit. 

"Mhm.." Brennen responded as he walked inside and slammed the door on Sam.

What the fuck was that?.. 

Sam stood there with shock, but he started to get the hint that maybe Sam wasn't the only one who had feelings for Colby..

*An hour later, with Colby* ~Colby's Pov~ (Kind of)

I finally got the motivation to open my eyes. I still had the feeling of weight on my shoulders and a little bit of a throbbing headache. I feel miserable. Not sad, Not happy, but Miserable. Everyone was sacrificing their time for me. When I didn't deserve any of it. At least that's what the voices say.

You aren't worth a dime.

Stop being so obnoxious.

Waste of fucking space.

Kill your self.

"SHUT UP!" I shouted, pulling my knees to my chest while putting my head in my knees. I heard footsteps, but at this moment I didn't really care. 

"Colby?!" I looked up to see Brennen, He had a worried expression on his face. Tears started to roll down my cheeks. I didn't want to be weak all the time. 

"Awh.. Colby.." Brennen mumbled as he pulled me closer to him. He put my head in his shoulder as I tried to stay silent with my cries.

"Hey.. Shhhh... It's okay, It's okay.. I'm here. Nothing can hurt you.." Brennen said while ruffling my hair in a calming way. Those words comforted me, The voices shut out after them, While Brennen let me cry into his shoulder.

Minutes later, we changed positions slightly. We just moved to Brennen's bed. Brennen held me closer to him as he played with my hair. I drifted to sleep..

*With Sam*  ~Sams Pov~

I wanted to be the one holding Colby close.. Except Brennen was in the way. I was near Colby when I heard his voice cry out in pain. I wanted to be there.. I wanted to help. 

I'm not sure what I've been feeling lately.. 

Every time I'm with Colby I get a tingly feeling, I get jealous easily, I smile when I see him smile, and He seems- no.. He is perfect. I want to protect him. I need to figure out how.

"SAM!" Elton yells from the kitchen. We've been staying at Brennen's for around a day because of Colby's mental state and his sickness. Today we were leaving thankfully.. But Brennen's coming to stay with us for a few months till' Colby is better. 

"YEAH?" I respond. No answer ...

I walk downstairs to see Elton with Brennen's luggage. Which means were leaving soon.

"Grab Colby and Brennen. Were going home." Elton says, I just nod and walk up the stairs.

I knock at the door to hear shuffling.

Brennen opens the door.

"Shh.." Brennen puts his pointer finger in front of his mouth. 'Sorry' I mouthed. 

"Were leaving..." I whisper, Brennen nods and heads downstairs while he never realizes he left me with Colby. I walk into the room and gently pick up Colby bridal style. He scrunched his eyes as he fluttered them open. 

"Hey Colbs.." I say gently, he looks tired..

"Hey Sammy.." Colby replies with a gentle but tired smile on his face.

"You can go back to sleep... I'll put you in the car don't worry." I reassure him as we walk down the steps. Right as I said that he fell right back asleep with no warning. I chuckled to myself a little bit as we arrived at the car. I opened the door and gently placed Colby inside and I walked to the other side in the back. Colby's head started to fall, which landed on my lap. I chuckled again as I played with his hair slightly. 

Were not being torn apart.
