A Ukrianian Soldier's POV

I opened my eyes to find everything fine in place. The President is still safe thank god.

But for that weird storm phenmenon, I don't know how it could be explain. All I know that we're still alive and not dead under a pile of rubble.

"(Is everyone alright?)" I shouted in my native language.

"(We're alright.)" one of the foreign volutneers said.

"(Check.)"

"(I'm good.)"

"(I don't fe...)" *Throws up*

"I only got a sctrach but it should be fine overall."

"(Sir. We should deal with the remainning Russian soldier in this area.)" one of the Ukrainian volutneers suggusted.

"(Alright men. Let's round up any Russian stragglers. 25% of them are conscripts and should be easy to round up.)" a Ukrainian segreant named Andriy ordered.

"(The rest of you, protect the President.)" I called out as armed guards surrond the president.

I then proceed to lead my men to join the other determined defenders from the oncoming Russian armada.

While both sides were tooken off guard when the storm hit, they were able to recover and contunied where they left off. However due to the storm knocking out anyy electroics, it was now all on foot on the ground to do the fighting.

A squad of volutneers slowly entered the building and searched room by room. They did encouther a few Russians but two of them surrendered willingly while the other was gunned down since he was very stuborn.
Outside, the Ukrainian troops and volutneers were able to surrond the entire Russian unit though they suffered heavy caualities. Luckily, the Ukrainians had their tanks blasting the remainning Russian T-90s and Armored Personnal Carriers.

The Ukrianians tended to target more on Russian soldiers who were willing to fight for Putin than the conscripts since most conscripts didn't want to fight. Also due to logical issues the Russians faced, many were surrendering in mass numbers. This counter-attack was achived in a few hours.

A Ukrainian soldier named Danilo aimed his rifle when he and his platoon spotted a Russian squad with a couple of armored vehicles. Quickly he signeled his men to quickly move to an ambush position and waited.

"(Move to cover men. We'll take them out by suprise.)"

"(Yes Sir)" said some of his men.

Unfortunately time was not on their side as a Russian Infantry Fighting Vehicle and a Sniper team spotted them and a firefight erupted.

"(Enemy behind cover! Take Them Out!)" a Russian soldier shouted as he fire an AK-12. He also made hand signels to the T-90s, apcs, and infantry fighting vehicles to mow with their MGs to blow the bas****ds to hell.

Danilo was killed in the firefight when he happened to be spotted by a Russian conscript (who despite being force into the army, he decided to willingly follow) and was his first kill along with a couple of his squad causing a call for reinforcements.
A T-90 also blasted a nearby building that killed several members of the platoon before one volutneer went expose himself to take it out. None of the platoon members bother to see if he sucessed or was killed for his act.

"(Hello? Hello?)" the radio operator who appears to be a female called in, "(We're pin down. Requesting reinforcements!)"

*BLAM! BLAM!

"(Frag out!)"

"(Smoke Grenade coming out!)"

"(Hey! Eat This Nazis!)"

What seem like a style of death coming in for its prize, a couple of Russian soldiers were suddenly blazing on fire. Ukrainian reinforcements had arrived and their proceeded to finish taking out the remainning Russians.

"(Two out in the open!)" one Ukrainian soldier signeling his comrades.

One Russian was killed while the other was injured. Luckily, the poor soul surrendered as Ukrainian soldiers went up to him.

"(On The Ground Now!)" A Ukrainian ordered and the Russian soldier followed it.

"(Search him. Make sure he's not hiding something!)" their squad leader said as two of her troops inspect the young Russian soldier.

Once they finished searching him, they strapped him off his gear and put him in line with the other Russian prisoners.

"(We arrived right on time? What happened to your platoon commander?)" a Ukrainian officer asked.

One of Danilo's men came forward and explained, "(He didn't make it sir. We wish he did sir.)"

"(In real life, there's no plot armor no matter how important you are....)" the officer said in a soft voice, "(...because sooner or later, everyone will die. That's just how life works.)"

"(Orders sir?)"

"(Secure the city and the prisoners. Kyiv may have been safe but we still got some areas to liberate.)" the officer said.

"(YES SIR!)"

Some areas in Ukraine were still being constested but the captial of Kyiv was safe. Now the remainning inhabitants were setting up watch postions for another Russian attack while others in support roles help made traps, maintainning gear, or supplying the troops with food.

Meanwhile, what remained of the Ukrainian government are now trying to get everything back in order and contact NATO.

The President, his cabnet, and family were safe inside with armed guards surronding the room. Zelenskyy was checking up on the latest report regarding the current situation.

"(Do we have communication with NATO?)"

"(No sir.)" his secertary stated, "(We lost all contact with the outside world.)"

Zelenskyy smashed his fist at the table. "(This must be all of Putin's doing then.)"

"(Likely but we still need confirmation on that.)" A Ukrainian military officer stated.

"(Plus if this was really Putin's secret weapon, wouldn't he followed it up with a more massive invasion force?)" another officer said.

The first military officer wasn't happy at the other officer's suggusted explanation but kept a calm mood. "(A good suggustion once we build up new evidence.)"

"(So what's our next move? We have to deal with Pro-Russian rebels in our area.)" Zelenskyy stated.

"(Well we got reports of a castle that happens to be near our borders near where the captial we're in now.)" A Ukrainian intelligence officer said as he reveals what it looks like with his tablet.

"(Hang on a second.)" one of the officials said, "(Does that look like the castle from Beauty and the Beast?)"

"(Isn't it the 2017 Live Action remake from Disney?)" one of the assistant corrected the official.

"(Most likely.)" the intelligence officer confirmed. "(Appartly we must have been teleported to the Disney universe.)"

"(We're not sure for this time...)" one of the scientist said, "(....but we would need to get better info of the area we are in.)"

"(Any suggustions?)" President Zelenskyy asked.

"(We are about to deploy any avaible Spestnaz units to recon the area.)" the General said as he set up a map of it.

"(Here is the castle....)" he pointed where it was near Kyiv, "(If there are no confirmed signs of life, we could use it as a forward operating base.)"

"(Great Point there.)"

"(In addtion to our avaiable Spestnaz unit, we also got some Foreign ex-Special Operations Force troops to assasit our troops on the ground. Unforunately, they will not have any air support due to mechnical problems and the fact we need our remaining ones to push out the Russians and pro-Russian rebels.)" a Ukrainian General explains.

"(General please...)" before pausing for a bit. The President then followed his sentence with,

"(....Recon mission granted but I want these men back safely and not to trigger another war in the unknown region.)"

"(Understood Mr. President.)" the General said.

----------(Scene Change)-----------

Deep in the shadows, a Ukrainian Spestnaz team moved quietly. Their mission, reconnaissince of a nearby castle.

"(No signs of any life forms yet.)" one Spestnaz quitely chattered to one of his teammates.

"(What's your status there?)" a voice in the comms said.

"Bravo 6, Going Dark" as the captain, a former SAS operator, threw away his cigar and put on his night vision goggles.
