I think this is one of the fluffiest chapters i have written but i like it! epilogue is next.

Chapter 40: I love you

Hannah:

"YOU LOST YOUR V-CARD TO HIM TONIGHT?!!!!" Linda screeched in my ear on the phone.

"Yeah, it just sort of-"

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" This went on for two minutes as I pulled my phone away from my phone. She's gonna make me deaf one day.

"Are you done now?" I questioned.

"I'm so proud of you! How was it?" she asked curiously.

"Linda!" I scolded her.

"I want to know, I told how it was with me and Eddie the first time."

"I never asked you to tell me that. I said congrats and you went on about how wild he was."

"Whatever, you are officially in the non-virgin club and I salute to you." I called Linda an hour after Charlie and I did the deed. It was amazing; he was the perfect gentleman. I had to tell my best friend and she did lose hers first.

"Aw, was he really gentle with you?" she asked.

"Yes," I smiled shyly, blushing red.

"Hannah, that's so great. Where did you guys do it?"

"In my room, he carried me all the way upstairs."

"AWWWWWWW!"

"Stop!" I whined and blushed again.

"Fine, your parents aren't home yet?"

"No. They called me and said they won't be home till midnight."

"Wow. You wasted no time. What if your mom finds any, you know, fluids on there?"

"Gross, I didn't think of that. He wore a condom anyway."

"Good job, so are guys back together?"

"I don't know, after it happened we didn't talk much." I felt a little deflated when we didn't say anything; we just sat there for ten minutes putting our clothes back on. He told me he would call tomorrow but I'm dreading it.

"You didn't have the talk?" I didn't want to tell her we were supposed to be friends and then we had sex. It just seems backwards to me.

"He kissed me on the forehead and left."

"Well you need to talk to him. You guys just had sex, that meant something." I sighed deeply, she's right. This night proved how much we should be together. I'm still in love with him.

"You're right, Lin. I need to talk to him."

"Of course I'm right! Call him."

"No, this is a face to face conversation. I'll see him at school."

"Ok, girly goodnight."

"Night." I hung up the phone, realizing that I was just deflowered tonight by the guy I love, giddy, warm and bubbly inside.

I limped down the stairs to shut off the electronics and then back up to brush my teeth and hope dreamland hits me.

Dad driving me to school was a silent one, maybe because I didn't get much sleep last night, thinking of the events of before. I couldn't get Charlie out of my head: his eyes, his touch, the way he lips felt on my skin.

"Honey, we're here," my dad said.

"What?" I looked around and saw that my school is in full view.

"Oh, bye dad," I said in a tired voice, opening the passenger door to go to the front entrance.

"Bye sweetie, have a good day!" He yelled back. I heard his car roar and he drove off. I hope this is a good day. Walking in, my mission is clear: find Charlie. Looking around, no Charlie yet. I'm in the zone and I can't be distracted but luck is not on my side when I bumped into something really hard.

"Ow, dammit!" I exclaimed, falling on my butt I pulled a muscle on my sprained leg.

"I'm so sorry Hannah. Are you ok?" I took my eyes off the person's shoes , looked up to Louis's face.

"I'm fine," I narrowed my eyes, but I shouldn't be angry. He held out his hand for me to grab and I reluctantly did, pulling me up from the floor. We stayed in an awkward silence for a minute. I haven't seen him for two months and no one knew where he was.

"I see that you're walking now, that's a good thing."

"Yeah, thanks."

"Sorry I didn't visit you before, I thought that after everything you didn't want to see or talk to me."

"I didn't at first, but I don't like holding grudges. You did a terrible thing but I'm over it." I took my eyes off to look around for Charlie, but he's still nowhere in sight.

"Looking for someone?" he asked, pulling me out of my trance.

"Not important. Anyway, I heard you weren't here for a while."

"I was but I had to avoid some people, mainly my cousin. And I went back home for a week." He scratched the back of his head.

"I can't believe you're related to her." I shook my head.

"I'm sorry for not telling you, for lying to you."

"Louis," I cut him off "It's fine, I forgive you. We can start fresh but maybe as acquaintances."

"I can do that." He smiled and I smiled too. The warning bell rings and we said our goodbyes to each other as we headed to class.

My third class of the day ended and it was lunchtime, but no sign of Charlie yet. Does this mean that he regrets it? Is he avoiding me? Biting my nails to the nub, I searched the cafeteria for him.

"Dude, what's wrong? You haven't touched your food and it's burritos, your fave." Linda said in a worried voice. I looked at the tray in front of me, it is my favorite but I'm not that hungry. I took a bite anyway of the beefy goodness.

"Have you seen Charlie?" I asked her with my mouth full.

"Not yet, you haven't talked to him?" I shook my head no. Edward made an appearance next to Linda and kissed her on the cheek.

"What are you guys talking about?" he chimed in, opening his carton of chocolate milk.

"Charlie, she hasn't seen him," Linda said.

"Oh cause you guys did the dirty," he wiggled his eyebrows at me.

"Linda!" I slammed my hands on the table.

"What?" she asked cluelessly.

"You told him."

"So, he's your friend too. I thought he should know." I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms on my chest. She just had to tell her bf, it was supposed to be between girl best friends not-

"Hannah, there's Charlie," Eddie said. I whipped my head so fast, I thought I was gonna break my neck. Charlie's sitting with his friends, looking so cute in his simple black t-shirt. I got up from the table. I almost trip but I didn't care right now when I inched my way to him. Whispers began to swarm the cafeteria when I walked to the table. "Charlie," he made eye contact with me when he heard his name, cutting off whatever conversation he was having with Austin. His blue eyes bearing into mine, I bit my lip nervously but I had to shake it off. I can do this.

The smile on his face faded a little; he leaned forward "yeah?"

"I need to talk to you... alone." Talking to Charlie while Lucy, Austin and Ally did not sound like a good idea to me.

"Hannah, anything you say to Charlie, you can say to us." Lucy gave an evil grin to me, but I scowled at her.

"This is a private matter between me and him" I responded. Charlie got up and grabbed my wrist, leaving the cafeteria. We came to the hallway.

"What's wrong?" He questioned with a frown.

"I haven't seen you all day."

"I had some things to do with my parents."

"Is everything ok?" I asked with concern.

"Yeah yeah, it's nothing," he waved his hand dismissively.

"Charlie, about last night-" I started but he cut me off.

"I know. It was great but I know it wasn't the right thing to do. We agreed to stay friends."

"What?" Shocked and scared on my face. What was he saying.

"Charlie, it was the right thing to do. It was perfect, sums up everything about us. I love you, Charlie. I'm in love with you, I always will be and always have. If you don't feel the same, that's fine but I had to tell you-" His lips on mine for a soft kiss, hands holding my face and my arms on his shoulders as his kiss became with so much intensity. It felt like millennia during our embrace, but so right. The butterflies and fireworks having a frenzy in my stomach and chest, We let go breathlessly, his thumb brushing my cheek and my face heats up.

"I'm in love with you Hannah. Always have and always will be. You don't know how long I wanted to tell you that. It killed me when we weren't together, seeing you hurt broke my heart. We can start over without the secrets and hiding." I smiled so widely, my cheeks will explode. I crashed my lips onto his again.
