Third person pov

"I'm heading out, mom." Said Michael to his mom.

"Ok, just be home by 9:00." She replied

"Ok" He said as he headed out the door. He saw his friends in his yard.

"Lets go." He said. Him and his friends were going to a party.

"Hey, let's take a short cut." His friend Dylan said as he pointed to a dark ally.

"Are you sure?" He questioned

"Yes I'm sure, what are you scared." Dylan teased

"No, I'm not scared, it just doesn't look right." Michael said cautiously. They headed down the ally. A chill went down Michael's spine. It was dark and moist a bitter smell in the air.
