01's POV

"Just try me." I hissed in his ear and with that, I dragged Yui up the stairs and walked her to her room. Fortunately, her room was right next to mine.

This will make guarding her when she is sleeping easier since hearing through the walls will be quite easy.

She opened the door and led me into her room. Let's just say my eyes threw up. Pink was everywhere. I wouldn't be surprised if the light bulbs were also pink.

She didn't seem to notice my disgust whatsoever and walked to her bed and sat down. I remained by the door to guard.

For a while, not a word was said and I decided to close my eyes and leaned against the door. After approximately 5 minutes had passed, Yui finally spoke.

"Thank you very much for saving me. I really appreciate it." She suddenly stood up and bowed again.

I opened my eyes, but didn't give a response. Now it makes sense. No wonder they are able to walk all over her. She doesn't have a single backbone in her body.

She stood up and looked confused as to why I haven't said anything. Suddenly one of them teleported into the room.

This vampire had white hair with a slight pinkish tint to it and bright red eyes. Albino, eh. "Oi! It's time for dinner so hurry up and come down!" He yelled.

"S-Subaru-san, I'll b-be down s-soon. T-Thank y-you."

I sighed and finally spoke. "How about you just shut the h*ll up and get your anger in check."

He seemed to just notice my presence and turned to look at me. A small blush appeared on his face, but he soon seemed to register the meaning of my words and became angry.

Evidence being that he punched a random hole into the wall. What a tsundere.

I gave him a blank look and said, "You're fixing that."

He went to grab me but I kneed him before he could do anything. He dropped in pain and teleported somewhere else. I sighed.

"Time to go, Yui." I turned to leave but saw that she seemed to be stunned that I actually said something to her. What? Is it rare or something for me to talk?...Actually...that might be true.

She rushed to catch up and fell into pace with me. We eventually made it to the entrance hall and saw all 10 boys were there already waiting on us.

They all turned our way once we reached the last step. Reiji was the first to speak. "I believe we haven't introduced ourselves properly yet, Muto-san."

"That's not needed." I said.

"However, you are still unacquainted with some of use here and it is only proper to do so yet."

And so, Reiji conducted a 10 minute introduction. I would have left without a second thought however Yui was still here.

This is excruciating. I already know all of their names because of the research I did earlier. After all, you never walk into a battle blind. And, what I got from that research was...

After Reiji was finally done, he led the group towards were I suppose the dining hall was. We took our seats and I sat next to Yui. Servants served the food and left us in peace.

I didn't touch my plate and noticed Yui didn't either. "Yui, eat you're food."

She looked up at me; surprised by words that sounded like concern and the vampires also stared at me. Some because they have never heard my voice and others because I willingly spoke.

I ignored them and shoved a fork full of food into her mouth. I won't be responsible for her falling out because she decided to not eat.

She slowly chewed her food and asked, "Are you not going to eat either, Kaori-san?"

I didn't answer and she turned back to her food to eat on her own. The dinner ended uneventful except for Laito acting perverted and trying to touch my leg which unsurprisingly resulted with me kicking him out of his chair.

Reiji eventually dismissed us and they all teleported away. Servants came in and began cleaning up the table. Yui being an angel stayed behind and helped as well.

I simply leaned against the wall watching her closely. I noticed that she dropped a knife and went to grab it.

She wasn't paying close attention to how she was going to grab it because she accidentally cut herself on her hand.

I reacted quickly and grabbed a nearby napkin and wrapped her wound with it. I threw her over my shoulder and ran to her room.

I took out some bandages and rubbing alcohol from the bathroom and began cleaning her injury.

I also don't need her getting bit over her clumsiness. The entire time she remained quiet and she just looked at her now wrapped hand.

"Kaori-san, I very much appreciate everything you have done for me! I'm sorry for being such a burden to you." I got up and began heading to the door.

Before I left, I said, "Just don't be a klutz, next time."

I left and headed next door to my room. I grabbed my laptop and sat on my bed. Everyone else in the house should be going to sleep because of school the next night but I don't need to sleep for...special reasons.

I began writing my daily report and sent it to Commander. When I was done, I noticed that I still had an hour until I had to get ready for school and decided to go outside.

I placed my headphones on and walked out of my room. I exited the main door and first saw a garden of roses and the albino vampire, Subaru, standing in the middle of it while looking at a tower.

I didn't call out to him since there was nothing to say and sat on a nearby bench. I put on Car Radio by Twenty-One Pilots and closed my eyes.

After about 30 minutes had passed, I felt eyes on me but ignored it. I then felt a presence teleport beside me, so I reluctantly opened my eyes to observe whoever decided to disturb me.

It was Subaru. I turned my glance away finding our little staring competition ridiculous.

"Oi! Why are here? Leave!!!" I ignored him and remained still.

After a minute of his useless yelling I finally said, "Why should I leave when I haven't bothered you? Now shut up."

Subaru's POV

"Oi! Why are here? Leave!!!" I yelled at her.

She ignored me and stayed still. I continued yelling at her until she finally spoke.

"Why should I leave when I haven't bothered you? Now shut up." I got pissed and punched a random wall next to me.

"Why don't you understand that you'll become filthy if you get near me?!" She stood up and I thought she finally understood to leave but no.

She walked calmly towards me and punched me in the face. "What are you doing?! What was that for?!"

"For wasting my time and annoying me with your ridiculous words."

"Ridiculous?!" She looked at me and then up to the moon.

"I don't want to catch your stupidity, so I'll say this only once. Whoever told you that you were filthy, is a dumba** and don't say that bullsh*t to me again. You're needlessly killing my brain cells for no reason then."

She looked at her phone, turned around and left. What would she know? I'm the reason for mother's break down. But still her words struck somewhere deep in my heart and made me happy.

I thought of her face again and blushed while my dead heart started beating fast. What the h*ll is this?
