"Be quiet."

Ruki left after those two simple words and my panic attack mentally escalated.

What the h*ll happened? 'How' could this happened? M Neko-chan can't be hurt!! I forced myself to take deep breathes.

I need to calm down. This shouldn't affect me this much. I mean she's not even that important to me. Yet, I'm freaking out like rich girl had just broken a nail.

God, what's happening to me?

Subaru's POV

I was walking through the halls while being lost in my thoughts...I wonder what's Kaori's up too. I haven't seen her for a while...Dammit! Why can't I get her out of my thoughts?!

I let out a frustrated breath and leaned against a nearby wall. It's more irritating that this is bothering me as much as it does.

Whatever, I don't need this right now. I pushed off the wall and continued my aimless wandering.

I soon found myself passing by the school's library and would've paid no mind if it wasn't for hearing the voice that haunted me day and night.

"Keep staring. Your eyes will roll out."

I heard movement after that and then another voice followed.

"A bit conceited, aren't you? Who ever said I was looking at you specifically? You weren't even looking at me." The h*ll is the bookworm doing with her?

I remained at the doorway and tried to listen for anything else of their conversation but only silence prevailed. What the f*ck are they doing?

My question was answered as Ruki exited the library with an interested look. What the hell happened for him to have that face?

What does it even matter. It's almost as if I...like...her?...Well.........d*mn.

Time Skip

After overhearing their conversation, I moved on towards the roof for some peace to clear my thoughts...It wasn't working.

I was looking down at the ground through the gates on the edge of the roof. I was too lost in my mind until I heard the doorway opening very quietly.

God, can't I just be left alone for once. I never heard footsteps and my curiously got the best of me. What the h*ll are they doing?

I turned around and saw Kaori's retreating form of the roof's entrance. Before I could stop myself, my mouth began to move on its own.

"Hey, wait!"

Either she didn't hear me or was just ignoring me, but either way she never turned around. I sighed. D*mn. This crush thing is going to take some getting use to.

Ruki's POV

After school had ended, my brothers and I went back to the mansion and separated. I went to my room and continued the book that I grabbed from the library earlier.

Though my eyes were directed towards the pages, I wasn't actually reading the book, surprisingly. This is irritating. Why can't I get those silver eyes out of my head?

I was so frustrated that I couldn't even get past the first sentence of the book. After struggling for concentration on the object in my hand, I sighed and closed the book.

Suddenly, I heard the yells of Kou in the halls and then a loud crash soon after. I sighed again and teleported to the commotion.

I wasn't prepared for what for the sight I came upon. A groaning Kou was rolling around at the bottom of the stairs and a stagnant Kaori was walking away without a care in the world.

She walked past me without a single look and carried on somewhere else. I watched her until she disappeared around a corner and turned back to my staggering brother.

I teleported to him and gave him support. I teleported him to his room and laid him on his bed. All the while, the entire time I unknowingly had a small smile on my face.

I'll give her this, she's certainly got my attention now. And, I'm more than interested to see what she does next.

Thank you, to all of all of you for the kind comments and all of the support you have given me. Thanks to you, my story has reached at 4.25K.

But yeah, just a slight filler chapter. I needed a good transition between the last chapter and the next. To make up for the shortness, I'll give you an excellent manga and anime to try out if you don't know of them yet. I love both of them.

I recommend that you guys read Barajou no Kiss and try watching The Irregular At Magic High School. Trust me, you'll love them too.
