"Welcome."
"That's all your pops wanted us to say, right?"
"I think so..."
"Just shut up." Frankie rubbed his head and looked at the two boys in front of us. "Welcome, my name is Frankie. This is Georgie, Lucio, Tony, Rocky, and Vito. We hope you have a good time while you're at this school."
Frankie gave them a single nod, then turned around to go to Alvaro.
"Like he did any better."
"He did a lot better, V."
"Just shut your mouth."
"No—!"
"Oh my fuck...can you both shut up?!" Georgie glared at Tony and Vito, who both looked at him with wide eyes. "Just go with Alvaro. I'm sure he'll be better at handling the both of you."
"Ok..." They both walked away without another word.
I rubbed Georgie's back and he leaned into my side. "They're always arguing about something..."
"I know..." I agreed with him and looked up, but saw that one of the boys was already gone, while the other was staring at me. I blinked, then grabbed Rocky's wrist. "Well, we're going to head to our group."
I led Georgie and Rocky away and ran over to Alvaro. "Alvaro!"
"Hey, Lucio." He pulled me into a side hug and greeted Georgie and Rocky.
We were currently in the training room where we learned to fight with or without weapons. We were all in workout clothes, so I had on a pair of black basketball shorts and a loose black t-shirt.
"Where's Richie?"
"Family emergency, so he wasn't able to show up today. There's still the other trainers, you know?" Alvaro crossed his arms, but I shrugged.
"I only like Richie and Rainer, and of course you, Felix, and Ollie. I only like being trained by the best of the best."
"Because we trained Xavier and Enzo?" My uncle raised his brow at me with a smirk, and I nodded.
"That, too. I want to be as good as them, or even better." Alvaro smiled and rubbed my back.
"I know you can be better than them if you train hard enough." Alvaro patted my shoulder and looked across the gym. "Alright, it's almost your guys' turn. Do you want to train with me today?"
"Yes!" Tony yelled behind me and pushed me aside. "I'll beat Vito to the ground."
"Alright, then. Go get the others and meet me on mat fourteen."
We quickly nodded and Georgie, Rocky, and I went to look for the others. We ended up finding them after a few minutes beneath the bleachers, which was our usual hideout. We had the key to go beneath them, since the trainers stored extra equipment underneath and it acted as a storage room.
"Alvaro's training us today!" Rocky wrapped his arm around Tony's shoulders and the latter smiled.
"It's been a while since he's trained us."
We nodded and locked the storage room, walking around the mats that other people were training on and finding mat number fourteen. Alvaro clapped his hands and sighed.
"Alright, do your stretches first. After we finish doing hand-in-hand, you'll be doing bleachers, then I'll send you over to the weight-room where Felix is, and he'll send you to Rainer. You can go home after, got it?" We all nodded and he clapped his hands again, so we started stretching.
"Frankie, be my partner?" I tugged on his arm and he nodded.
I pulled him to the edge of the mat and we did our regular stretches for our arms and legs, but we had to stretch a bit more for our legs from the help of our partner. I pushed Frankie's right leg up to his chest and pushed down, holding his left leg down with my weight.
Frankie groaned a little, then sighed when I let go of his leg. He switched legs, but I straddled his right thigh and moved higher up until our pelvises touched. He immediately turned bright red and bit his lower lip when I grounded my hips against his.
"I kind of like this position."
"I said get off!"
Someone landed on the mat and they grunted, so I let go of Frankie and we both looked back, seeing Vito laying on his back. He rolled onto his side and coughed, laughing as he looked up at Tony.
"I'll get you b-back for that."
Alvaro shook his head and Rocky helped his brother out. We finished up our stretches and stood up.
"Ok, I want you guys to go for the legs, but try to stay up or knock your opponent down." Alvaro told us and we nodded.
I looked at Frankie, and huffed. "When you really think about it, it's not fair for me because I'm short."
"I'm literally three inches taller than you, Lucio." He deadpanned and I pouted.
"Exactly, I should fight someone who's-" I grunted when I landed on my back and rolled onto my side. "I-I wasn't ready..."
"You're always supposed to be ready, Lucio." Frankie smirked above me, but I hooked my legs around his hips and flipped him over my head, so that now I was on top of him.
"I am, I just wasn't expecting it right away."
Frankie scoffed and pushed me off, quickly jumping up at the same time I did. I waited for him to make a move first, but instead flinched forward and he reached for my arm, but I grabbed his wrist and twisted it until his back was to my chest.
"Nice, Lucio!" I heard Alvaro say.
Frankie grunted when I twisted his arm higher up, so I let him go.
"That's a move Xavier always did. He always went for arms since he was better with them...I wonder why." Alvaro said in an amused voice.
"Uh..." I trailed off, and Frankie snickered beside me.
"Alright, less talking, more fighting, boys." Alvaro glared at us, and we scoffed as he walked away with a light chuckle.
For the next forty-five minutes, we trained and switched partners multiple times so we could train with different types of fighting styles. Alvaro sent us to do bleachers, but we chose to go outside since it was fresher out.
We took our time to get to the bleachers, then slowly jogged up and down, but Alvaro came outside. "You have to go faster, boys, get those muscles on your calves!"
"Ali, my legs are...burning!" Tony whined, but Alvaro yelled at us to jog faster.
I could feel my legs burn and tighten as we did our final jog out of seven. As we neared closer to reaching the side of the bleachers, my knees began trembling, but I pushed myself until we reached the end.
I fell onto the floor and caught my breath. "I'm...done for today. I can't go...any longer, Alvaro."
"Did you forget today's leg day? It's supposed to make your legs stronger, Lucio. Anyways, you guys can head to the weight-room, Felix will tell you what to do. Don't take too long out here." He walked back inside the gym and my body went limp.
"I can't move."
"You have to, Luci." Rocky grabbed my hands and began dragging me across the floor until we reached the weight-room.
By now, my shorts were just below my ass and my boxers were beginning to slip down as well, but not enough to expose myself. Rocky let go of my hands and I flipped onto my back.
"Hey, get up. We don't have time to waste, and pull your shorts up." Felix stood over me and I closed my eyes.
"My legs are too weak, I can't stand. Call Uncle Gio over so he can take me home." I opened one eye, then quickly closed it.
"You already skipped your first four classes, you don't need to skip more, Lucio."
I groaned but held my hand out and he helped me up. I slouched against him and he pushed me upright, patting my back.
"Come on, you'll be fine. Now go and work on your legs, not your arms." He pushed me forward and I lazily walked toward the station next to Georgie.
I sat down on the leg press and set my feet on the squared platform, pushing so that my legs stretched out. I held onto the two handlebars on the sides, and groaned as I pushed all the way out. My knees trembled and I quickly folded my knees again so that it was a squat.
"Take your time, Lucio, but at the same time, don't."
I scoffed at Georgie and watched him do the leg press easily. I grumbled to myself but continued on with the machine for about ten minutes. I moved onto the next machine, but decided against it and started doing sets of squats, lunges, seated dumbbell calf raises, and a few more exercises until Felix told us that our time was up.
My legs were even more weak by the end of it and every time I bent my knees, my legs would start to shake.
"Go to Rainer, you boys are the last group left to train with him." Felix waved us away and we walked into the room next door.
It was a lot bigger than the weight-room and a lot colder. There was a wall on our left with a door, but on our right was where there was a lot of open space. There were ten stations that you would usually see at a gun range, with targets at the back of the wall, but the back wall was more like a sliding garage door. It could be opened to shoot further targets which were outside.
We walked to Rainer and he smiled at us.
"Hey, guys. I was just pulling out your favorite toys." He pulled out a three-by-two black box, and placed it on the table in front of us. He flipped up the metal switches, then spun the box around. "Here you go."
Rainer lifted the top off and Vito groaned beside me.
"Hell yeah..." He reached inside and pulled out a long, all matte-black machete, sniffling as he swiped the flat sides. "It's so pretty, I could cry."
Tony, Rocky, and Frankie reached inside as well and grabbed their sharp weapons. Rainer pulled out another smaller box and opened it up. Georgie reached inside and pulled out Bubba's old pair of twin knives, which were orange and red in color to look like flames on the sharp end of the knives.
Finally, Rainer pulled out another much smaller box and gave me the box. I took the lid off and smiled, pulling out my dad's old butterfly knife. It was a deep-gray in coloring with gold detailing on the handles, but when I flicked it open, it revealed a silver blade. It was quite simple, but since it was Dad's old knife that he used when he was younger, I cherished it even more.
"Thanks, Rainer." I placed the box down and walked over to where the others were.
Georgie was using the twin knives on a dummy, which helped him practice fighting with them, even though he was already good with them. Tony was using his mace, which was a heavy, blunt weapon, and repeatedly hit another dummy with it, which looked funny. Rocky and Vito were busy throwing their machetes at a wood board, and finally, Frankie was just playing with his pocket-knife.
He has never liked using weapons in close combat, but only because he was the best at using any type of sniper. He was the best out of all of us, really, and he was proud to show off. He was so skillful with it, that it made me jealous at times, but I was really proud of him.
I sat next to him and flicked my knife in my hands, spinning it around between my fingers. "You're just waiting for Rainer to bring out your child, huh?"
"Yes." He looked up and glanced at Rainer. "I just want to hold him, already."
I chuckled and Rainer called Frankie over after a few more minutes. I watched him get up and quickly walk over to the table. Rainer spoke with Frankie, but I went over to Rocky and Vito, flicking my wrist forward and watching my knife land in the middle of the target.
"Ok, Lucio." Vito smirked, making me shake my head.
I grabbed my knife and watched Frankie walk over to a station across the room with his favorite sniper in hand. It was a Barrett 50 Cal sniper rifle which he got customized to have thin, gold vines going around the body of the gun. He put on a pair of earmuffs, then a pair of glasses. I watched him switch a few things on his child.
Rainer flipped a switch, and the back wall moved up to expose the outside section of the practice range which was quite far to see the back of the gate. Frankie got onto one knee and switched a few more things on his child, before leaning closer and putting his eye closer to the scope.
"Hey, Rainer." Frankie quickly pulled away and waited for Felix to finish talking with Rainer. "Sorry, Frankie! Rainer, these are the last two boys. They're new and I decided to put them in this group, so I'll stay here to make sure that they'll be ok and that my nephews don't bully them."
Felix led the same two boys from earlier to Rainer, and the latter began pulling some things out from the large room behind him which contained all the weapons.
Once he finished dealing with the two boys who were told to use knives for now, it went quiet and Frankie got into position again. I watched him exhale, then press a button on the wall beside him. He quickly got closer to the scope and I looked outside.
A small orange disk was shot up and it broke into pieces as it was hit with a bullet. Another disk appeared and the same thing happened. The speed of the disks flying out quickened, but Frankie was still able to hit each and every disk with ease. He was super agile with the sniper, so it was no surprise to any of us.
Once he shot the last bullet, and there were no more disks left, he flipped on the safety and placed his child down on the table, standing up as he took his earmuffs and glasses off.
"I still can't believe how good he is with that thing. He's the best I've ever seen, and that's saying a lot of things." I overheard Rainer tell Felix, who chuckled but agreed.
"Fucking sexy." Tony slapped Frankie's ass, but the latter was too busy staring and rubbing his hands all over his sniper. Tony stared at the side of his face, then down at Frankie's hands. "I feel like if this was a real person, you would fuck them hard."
"Yes, I would." Frankie nodded, then picked up Saint, which was the name of his precious child. He walked to Rainer and placed Saint in front of him. "I'm done. Thanks, Rainer."
"No problem, Frankie." Rainer shook his head in amusement and I heard a scoff.
"That's all the practice you're doing?" We all turned to the two boys who were sitting on a bench, but one of them had a raised brow. "There's no way that you're that good when you practice so little."
"If you couldn't tell, Frankie is quite experienced with Saint, so he doesn't even need much practice." Vito told the boy, whose name I forgot, and the boy shook his head.
"I still don't believe that you're that good with the little practice that you do. I've never seen someone as good as you with a sniper, and you didn't even look nervous!" The guy shook his head, and Tony shrugged.
"Well, believe it, because it just happened in front of your eyes."
Frankie sat beside me and pulled his pocket-knife out, going back to playing with it. I smiled and we spent the rest of the time "practicing" even though I didn't practice much. Rainer took our stuff and Felix let us go to the locker rooms. We just grabbed our normal clothes, stuffing them into our backpacks, then left the school since the day was finally over.
We only had five classes, four being the main subjects that we needed to learn. History was the class that we learned about the history of gang life, mafia bosses, major gang events, and all that, instead of the regular boring history. Math was basically like more of a business class, which helped you learn different costs of certain things and how to deal, and how to do business with money which obviously involves math. English was like regular English class, but it involved gang members, so we would read books and do reports on past gang leaders, mafia bosses, all that. Lastly, science was more of a free class, but sometimes we did learn how to make homemade bombs and things like that. It was actually quite fun.
We left school and hopped in the cars, heading straight home. We arrived fifteen minutes later, and walked inside the house, immediately throwing our things down at the entrance and heading for the backyard.
We stripped down to our boxers, and Tony and Vito jumped inside the pool while the rest of us took our time stepping deeper into the pool. I shivered at the cold water, but it felt good on my sore legs.
I swam deeper in the water and Rocky came up behind me. "Do you know what time our parents are coming for dinner?"
"They usually get here early to actually make dinner for us, so maybe around four?" I shrugged, and he nodded.
He swam closer to me and hugged my waist, kissing my cheek. He pulled the hair-tie out of my hair and I slipped it on my wrist so I wouldn't lose it. I pushed myself under the water and moved back to the surface, brushing my hair back so it wouldn't get in my way.
I placed my arms around Rocky's shoulders and pressed my right cheek to his. "Can I have a kiss, Rocky?"
"No." I pouted, but he pulled my head back. "I'm just playing, Luci."
Rocky leaned forward and kissed me. I wrapped my legs around him and he cupped the back of my head, tilting it to deepen the kiss. I moaned when he slid his tongue into my mouth, then we pulled away after a few more moments. I hugged him tightly and he walked us around in the pool. It felt nice, but it also made me sleepy so I told Rocky to sit on the stairs once we reached them.
Georgie was leaning against the ledge of the pool with Vito in front of him, and Tony was talking with Frankie beside us.
We stayed in the pool for half an hour, then decided to head inside to shower. I put on some comfortable clothes afterwards and went downstairs. Only Georgie and Frankie were here, so I cuddled with them on the couch and we watched tv, while waiting for the others to join.
They soon joined us, but then the doorbell rang and we all quickly got up, then ran to the door. I opened the door and we jumped on our parents, which made them laugh.
"Dad, Papa, Bubba!" Georgie and I hugged the three of them and they kissed my our cheeks.
I greeted my uncles after and let them step in the house, closing the door behind us. Papa picked me up and carried me to the couch, while Dad, Bubba, Uncle Marco, and Uncle Reece went straight to the kitchen.
I sat comfortably in Papa's lap and he ran his fingers through my hair like earlier in the day. "Can you bring a brush, Luci?"
"Yeah." I got off and went up to my room, looking for my brush and grabbing a hair-tie since the other one was still wet. I ran back down and gave the two items to Papa, and he told me to sit between his legs on the floor. "Are you going to do my hair?"
"Mhm."
I sat down and he began brushing my hair, which would send tingles down my spine. I watched tv while he worked, and he finished after a few minutes. Papa took a picture, then showed me and I smiled. He had braided the sides of my hair until it reached the back of my head, then the rest was tied into a low ponytail.
I thanked my papa with kisses on the cheeks, and he pulled me back onto his lap. He called Georgie over so he could cuddle with us, and my brother tucked himself into our papa's side, who wrapped an arm around him. I was super happy, so I kissed their cheeks and we waited for dinner to be made.
