Tod wen the bathroom with a smile on face. He didn't hold himself, what he thought strange, since he was hurt by everything what happened with Henrie, but he couldn't forget that also his life would move on, so, in parts, he didn't hurt by were feeling in that way. He just undressed and headed at the bathroom.

The shower isn't so long as always did, but he stayed all the time thinking if he would feel guilty about all that or not, but in end he didn't let about that, since it was something that he wasn't control. After the shower he dressed up and headed at his desk and just looked at his agenda and noticed that they didn't realized anything about the Lucy's project and even the school anniversary. His mind was automatically invaded by these thoughts and almost thought on call from Henrie to solved that, but before he could touch the cellphone, the same vibrated on the bed making Tod heading at his way.

But when he realized it was just a message about discount from application. He snorted and enjoyed to sent a message from Lucy and tried to be the most professional to not create a problem, just sent the followed:

"Good evening, Lucy. I'm sending you this message for we'll meet about the project, just send me the place and hour. Grateful!'

So, he threw his cell phone on bed again and went down to eat something. On the way he noticed that his mom was at the room watching TV, so he approached her and asked:

"What are you watching?"

"Ow, son!" she said scared. "I'm watching a French film about a girl who needs to decide between his future and her relationship, but why? Are you interested on watch?"

Tod nodded his head in negative, he just sat down near his mom and supported his head in her legs and stayed like that without saying one single word.

Mrs. Evans, in turn, stayed without understand that reaction, because she knew he was loving, but not in that way to distribute random affection. So, she decided not asking for not screw up that moment, just headed his hand at his hair and start to touch it.

She felt like all that moment when he was child was passing through her head. Her eyes watered and she sighed deep. She was so happy with that moment, but she knew something was wrong, she decided continue like that until she couldn't hold more and started to talk:

"You know... when you were young, you were so closer at me. You couldn't sleep while I didn't fondle his hair." She said sighting.

Tod just listened that and noticed a little sound, the he realized that his mom would be crying. He just got up quickly and asked:

"Mom, are you crying?"

She got scared with a Tod quick movement and wiped her eyes quickly and answered:

"Don't worry, son, I was remembering when you were younger, and how you was always loving and companion with me, and how lucky I am to have a kid like you" She said passing her hand on his face and pulling him for a hug.

Tod just consent and gave a squeeze onto the hug, but he didn't hold the tears and someone's fell down. He felt his mom was worried with something, but he decided to stay on that hug so tight by more minutes.

His mom didn't hold herself and began to cry again, and with that Tod could feel because her body contracted against his, but it was a quickly cry, and she said between tears:

"I don't know what's happening, my son, and if something is really happening, but you know that you can say anything for me."

Tod heard those words that turned like a dam being released, and the loud cry hit him soon.

"You know that I love you so much, and you can count with me for everything." She said with some tears still rolling down her face.

Tod couldn't even reply with the whimper he just nodded his head on agree every time her mother said something. They stayed like that for several minutes until their bodies recovered up.

Then, they separated and stayed looking at each other until his mom asked:

"It is him, didn't?"

Tod just agreed with his head.

"Feel free for when you want to talk..." She said holding on Tod's hand.

"We are not together anymore..." He replied crestfallen.

Mrs. Evans tried hard on not react any reaction that initiate something negative on Tod, just hold him tight and asked:

"But you are okay with this?"

Tod just absorbed that question and wait a little more to replied:

"I'm trying..." He whispered.

"So, we'll do everything for you can do that." She said sending a kiss on his head.

"Thank you, mom" He whispered.

She wiped her tears and then she asked:

"Are you hungry? I can cook something for us, or better, you can help me to cook like the old time."

Tod nodded his head in agree and with a little smile, and the both got up and headed at the kitchen. They prepared something quick and in minutes the pasta was ready. Tod felt so happy with that moment with his mother, even so that he could left his mind lighter and more centered on that was important. So, they ate on the room while watching the French film until they decided sleep later.

Tod just greeted his mom by that moment and went to his bedroom all light and threw himself on bed. He enjoyed and verified the cell phone and noticed that Lucy had replied the message, he took a breath deep and opened the notification:

"Hello, Tod! Don't worry, how about we mark this weekend? We could meet at that cafeteria on Saturday afternoon, there's a problem? Anything you warned me If you prefer another day or time."

Tod felt his whole-body relief with that message, he just replied that place and hour marked by her was good for him and turned to sleep.

On the next day, he woke up before the clock with a disposition out of normal, he headed at the bathroom and took a shower slower, what left him more relaxed, he dressed up and went down stairs at the room.

On the way he heard some voices and thought if his mom would be on cell phone or something like that and went joyed, but before he could end the stairs his mom heard him and said:

"Good morning honey, are you wake?"

"Yep!" He replied ending to down stairs and heading at the kitchen.

"That's good you're ready, because have someone who came here to go along until the college..."

Tod felt a little puncture on his heart with that phrase, and went all apprehensive at the kitchen and when he went, before he could say anything he heard:

"Good morning, Tod" Josh said with a smile ear by ear.
