EXT. PRAIRIE -- AFTERNOON

Panel 1.

Rear-view of a person as they stand in the prairie, on a partly cloudy day. This person wears a blue trench coat, beige pants and black shoes. There are small hills in the background. This person has short black hair.

CAP: Writing essays has always been a part of my life.

Panel 2. 

Same panel, zoom in a little closer.

CAP: When I was in high school, I stumbled onto Orwell's essays.

CAP: As I read them, they spoke to me...

Panel 3.

A person's hand is up to the sky, reaching. This person's hand has scars on it.

CAP: ...they were smooth, eloquent, they were music to my ears.

Panel 4.

The individual looks up at the sky/us with his hand still raised. This person is Frank Fargo, twenty-eight years old -- inquisitive. He has black eyes and wears glasses.

CAP: Each word was a puzzle piece to the whole picture.

Splash page! Zoom out enough to see the entire rear-view of Frank and the grass blades of the prairie. The clouds in the sky swirls around like a vortex, showing the now blue sky. [Note: the sun should be at the center of the cloudy vortex, behind its cloudy mass, giving off dim light.]

CAP: Right now, I am getting closer and closer to finding the perfect theory.

CAP: It is only a matter of time before my--

A leg of a person standing on the prairie grass. The leg is clothed in black dress pants and black dress shoe. Frank's in the background, back facing away this individual. [Note: the sky is back to normal.]

Person (off): I finally caught you.

Panel 2. 

Profile on Frank, he's at peace with himself. His eyes are closed.

Person (off): You can't keep this up forever.

Panel 3. 

Profile on a person's arm holding and aiming their gun out. This person's arm is cladded in a black dress jacket sleeve and hand covered in a light gray glove.

Person (off): It doesn't have to be this way. Please... come with me.

Panel 4. 

Frank looks back at the individual in the background. There are hills also in the background. This person in the background wears a black dress jacket and black dress pants. [Note: the entirety of this person is obscured.]

Frank: I am not leaving. The answer is becoming clear.

Person: Don't make me do this!

Frank: It needs to be done!

Frank's scarred hands caress each other.
