Misty's P.O.V

I slowly opened my eyes and saw Zed getting dressed, everything that happened yesterday came flooding back to me.

I got up and made my way over to the dresser, once I got there I took off my sweater and leggings throwing them into the pile of laundry. I took out a black sweater and some grey leggings, I out them on quickly and looked at Zed who was holding my camera.

"What do you think we'll find today?" She asked, her eyes were squinted and I could tell she was looking at the picture of her and the unicorn.

"I don't know... But I want to ask you something." "Go ahead." "Um..." I tried to think of what to say, I wanted to tell Zed about my dream the other day. I went to speak but something caught my eye, something was staring at us through the window!

"ZED!" I pointed and she spun around just in time before the thing disappeared, she grabbed my hand and we ran down stairs to her car. She started it up and we quickly started chasing after the thing we saw, it was still up in the sky and it looked like it had, wing? It just looked like a dark shadow flying in the air.

We reached the woods and I watched as the shadow flew over the trees. Zed and I jumped out of the car and ran through the forest, we stood in front of the hill and saw on top there was another shadow, they spotted us and ran, but we followed! Zed grabbed me tightly as we went into the woods that we entered yesterday. We started rolling down the steep hill and I tried my best to cling to my friend.

We hit the bottom with a loud crack of branches that we had landed on, I got up quickly and stumbled through the hole Zed broke in the stick dome yesterday. Zed wobbled behind me as we looked around the dim foggy forest, I looked down the path and saw one of the shadows looking at us.

"Zed give me my camera!" I whispered, she put it in my hand and I tried to take a picture but the shadow had started running off.

Me and Zed ran down the path and we started to close in on the shadow, my lungs burned as I ran with Zed and soon she started to drag me along side her panting body. "Crap!" She screamed kicking a rock, I looked around and gasped, the forest changed! The trees were dead and it was very dark and intimidating, I looked out beyond the path and saw the shadow figure watching. I held out my camera and took a picture.

"Wait!" I yelled as it went to run, Zed tried to hide behind me as the shadow started to approach. "Misty!" Zed squeezed my arm and I turned around and saw the other shadow coming up behind us, Crap!

"H-hi..." I waved to the shadow that was now almost right in front of me, I watched as the two shadows stood next to each other and looked at us, one was very tall and the other was a bit shorty and clung to the taller ones arm like Zed was clinging to mine.

I looked closer and saw that they weren't shadows but they were wearing very dark clothing and hoodies that were just over their eyes.

"Oh just look at you..." The tall one sighed putting his hand to his face. "He is going to kill us! You know we aren't supposed to be near them!" The short one yelled, the tall one looked at him and in a very sad voice said, "I'm sorry." My eyes wandered to the tall ones hand which looked normal except for the fact that he had a very long claw on one of his pointer fingers, I jumped when I saw it making some leafs ruffle under me. The short one kneeled down to my eye level and stared at me through his dark hood.

"I want you to forget you saw us, Got it!" I wrinkled my eye brows and nodded, "lets go!" He said. feathered white wings appeared from his back and dark dragon like wings emerged from the tall one. They flew off over the trees and I stared at Zed before running off the way they were flying.

"Misty! Wait! They said to forget we saw them!" A bright light filled my eyes and I tripped as I closed them. When I was sure the light was gone I opened my eyes and got ready to run but Zed tackled me. She hovered above me,

"We can't go after them." She said, "Well we can't get back to the orphanage!" "That doesn't mean we go after weird flying shadow men!" "This is better then being locked up in a adoption center and watching everyone find a home!" I screamed, Zed's eyes widened and I pushed her off me with tears in my eyes, I quickly stood up. She sat on her knees looking up at me, "You know as well as I do that I will never get adopted! Weird things happen when people adopt me! It's like something doesn't want me to have a family!" Tears rolled down my face, Zed looked mad as she started to yell at me, "How do you think I feel?! No one wants an 18 year old! And out know they kick you out after you turn twenty but you don't know how scared I am because after I turn twenty I lose you! I am your family Misty!" She screeched the last part, tears rolled from my eyes as I turned around and ran from Zed.

I heard her screaming from behind me but I just ran. I ran for a few minutes before I tripped on a rock and landed on my side. I got up shakily and looked in front of me, there was a circle made of sticks, I took a picture of it.

"weird." I mumbled, "Misty!" I was picked up and spun around, I looked up and saw Zed. "I am so sorry I yelled at you!" She cried, I grabbed her and hugged her tightly. A noise cracked from the forest, Zed grabbed me tightly and we screamed for a second before we saw it was the unicorn!

"Oh my gosh! Hey!" I ran to her and hugged her neck, she grunted and licked me. "Do you know anything about that?" Zed pointed to the sticks that were in a circle, the horse threw it's head up and down. "Cool! Can you help us back to the not so creepy part of the forest?" I asked, the unicorn bowed her head and one of her legs forward, I smiled and threw my leg over her back and laughed as she stood up. "Come on Zed!" I giggled, I grabbed her hand and helped her on the horse.

The horse faced the direction she came from and grunted, I grabbed the horses neck and Zed grabbed me before the unicorn started running. "Holy crap!" I yelled, her horn lit up and shot something in front of us, a circular shape appeared and the we jumped through it. I looked around and saw we were in a tube like thing that was blue and white, the horse jumped again and we were in a different part of the forest, the good lively part.

"Whoa! Was that like a portal or something?!" Zed cheered the horse neighed and started walking with us still on her back.

She stopped and we were in front of another circle but this one was made of stone, this one looked more welcomeing and safe then the other one. I took a picture of it and got off the horse.

"What are these?" I asked myself, Zed stood next to me and we both looked at the unicorn who's horn was glowing, "wai-" Zed couldn't finish before the horse pointed her horn at us and we passed out.

I opened my eyes and saw the wooden ceiling.

"Not again!" I yelled making Zed sit upright and mumble something. She looked around, "Not again..." She put her face into her hands.

"We aren't going back. Those shadow things probably don't want us there, sorry Misty." I sighed,

"I understand." "Good now go back to sleep!" Zed kissed my head and we laid down and relaxed.

"You what?!" I looked at my friend's who had just returned from a strange morning trip.

"It's his fault! If he hadn't had been seen she wouldn't have followed us!"

"Argh! Dude you have to let her g-!" "Relax babe... Please don't talk about her." My boyfriend sighed cupping his face in his hands, "I'm sorry." My tall friend said, he went to walk out the door before a familiar face came walking in the door, "Hey!" I waved to the little blonde headed girl, she had guilt in her eyes and I asked her what was wrong.

"I needs to tells you somthin..."
