I looked at him and you could tell that pain he was going through. I sat next to him and side hugged him, giving him a kiss on the check.
I was just so confused at the fact that he loves me, we just met each other.
"You know that I can't do that to tony, I like you trust me. I feel more safe and protected around you but-" I said but was interrupted by him speaking
"That's why come with me, I'm no play boy, I wont hurt you. You have been the only good thing since I came out of the ice." He finished
We stood in silence for about a minute, the tension was building up. " I understand, just don't tell tony. He can't know." This was wrong. I wanted tony but just the thought of Steve wanting me more than Tony wanted me to stay. I couldn't move my legs towards the door. I got up and walked away. I was stopped by Steve grabbing me by the hand. He pleaded, "please".
He pulled me to a gentle hug, making you sink into the moment.
"Let me think about it, please. I need time to think" I walk out not knowing what I just did.
I walked to my room, i couldn't move in with tony. The guilt began to build up, now that I know how Steve feels about me made me wonder what I could do about tony. I needed Time away from him.
I knew that if I moved in with tony, I would just feel guilty about what Steve and I did. I knew that Steve won't see me the same way if I moved in. Maybe away from Steve is a good idea. But I have to tell tony, to get clean. My anxiety grew and grew, I felt my power overwhelm me. I fall asleep overwhelmed with words and thoughts.
STEVE'S POV
I know it was wrong to tell her but in this generation it just so much different. The fact that she was suffering, was making me feel abandoned in my head. All I could think about was her. I was in love with her and nothing could stop me from loving her. Tony couldn't find out, I have to show her that I was the right one for her. I began to faze off until there was knock on the door.
I got up and prayed it was her, as I began to open the door. It was Natasha.
"Hey ready for our run." She asked
I completely forgot about that, "yes, let me just get ready, give about 30 minutes."
30 minutes later
I get out of the shower and found the compass on the floor.
While I picked the compass, Nick Fury walks in without knocking.
"Captain, I need you to tell agent (y/LN) to meet me in the briefing room once you're done with that." He waves his hands to my bathrobe. He continues " I want you there too"
"Sir with all do respect, I can't. agent Romanoff and I are going somewhere." I said looking at him
"It doesn't matter, call agent (y/LN). Look whatever you and Romanoff are going to do just meet me in the briefing room. " He scuffs and shakes his head as he leaves.
YOUR POV
I woke up to someone knocking on my door, just before I got up. I texted tony that I won't be going to his place tonight
You: hey tony, I won't be going home tonight. They need me to do so much work over here.
I lied but I needed Time alone.
Tony: okay come home when you're ready
I left him on read, and walked to my closet. I forced the door open thinking it was agent hill To tell me my lab results
I took my shirt off and all that was left was my bra, I didn't realize Steve was behind.
"Uh.." he examines my long scar.
"What are doing you here?!" I said with shock, I grab a shirt to cover my breasts
"Fury needs you in the briefing room." He says meanwhile he looks at my bruises on my arm.
"I mean in here." I looked at him still shocked.
"You opened your door" he replied walking forward towards you. My heart begins to beat faster than the speed of light.
I turn around, I heard the footsteps fade away but felt his heart behind mine. I felt his hands wrapped around my waist.
"Think about it. Please" he whispered in my ear. I turned around and saw his face, we locked eyes and I nod.
He let's go and walks out.
I was shocked and confused. I beginning to change, and went down to the briefing room. Fury was waiting for me, "agent."
I took a seat across from him. Still thinking about Steve, once we we're going to beginning,
Steve walks in. In my mind I was just thinking 'why is he here'
"Have a seat." Fury told Steve
He had the lab result in his hand, "this is the thing, your lab results is good but your powers grew."
"What do you mean" Steve sounded concerned
"The stab wound was filled with this energy source. And we might be a little concerned that you may have unlocked another ability. And you captain I need you to train with agent. We don't know if it will be able to stabilize it." Fury continued
All I could think about is more fear.
Steve touches my hand under the table, he knew how scared I was. I held his hand in return until the door opens behind us. I turned towards the door
"Oh no..." I looked and tony was behind me, he was looking at Steve touching my hand.
