Heyo!!!! IDK really what I'm doing with my chapters so far but I have a feeling this book is going to be really short so OK ON WITH THE CHAPTER 

Also Logan is a High school teacher I forgot to mention that and it's currently middle of the summer. Logan is in a QPR with Janus and Remus and they refer to themselves as partners. Remus and Janus are dating and refer to themselves as boyfriends.

Logan sighed as he looked up from his laptop. He had been working on his lesson plan for the past 5 hours without a break. He usually had a much better schedule for his work but with Romans arrival he had spent much of his time with him instead of sticking to his usual work schedule. He rubbed his eyes before getting back to work only to be interrupted when Janus walked to him placing a hand on Logans shoulder.

"You should take a break"

"I need to get this finished. My schedule is already off and I will be done two days behind-"

"Your two days behind is still 3 weeks before your lesson plan is actually due Lo. You'll be fine, how about you take a break. We can cuddle" Janus said the last part in a sing song voice knowing Logan was always a sucker for some good cuddles. He liked to pretend he didn't like them or hated when Janus and Remus would give him them but they all knew Logan secretly loved cuddles, especially ones from Janus. Logan let out a huff in defeat before making grabby hands to the lawyer. "Yes please"

Janus laughed at his partner before grabbing Logans hands and pulling him of the recliner he was sitting in. The two walked to bed and laid down in the bed. "Who's turn is it to get to info dump or rant again?" Janus asked "I believe it is my turn" Logan mumbled into Janus's chest. 

"Well go on ahead Sherlock" Logan pulled his head back before starting 

"I don't know how to be a father."

"What do you mean? You're already doing a great job, just look at how happy Roman is!"

"No that is you and Remus. Remus is the one who can calm Roman down when he goes on car rides, and you are the one who wakes him up in the morning and gets him ready, Remus is the one who carries him whenever his leg gets tired, and you are the one who put that makeup on him to make him happy when he goes out. All I ever do is drive the car"

"Hey no you do so much more then that. You're the one who always makes Roman breakfast, your the one who got all his favorite Disney music for him, you're the one who keeps me and Remus from somehow killing the child with out craziness. You're the best mom a child could ever ask for!"

"I am not a mom"

"You are in no way NOT a mom. Me and Remus are the dads you get to be the mom thats just how it is."

"Fine." Logan paused for a moment before sucking in a breath and continuing. "I just don't know how to talk to him. He always seems so scared around me. I've seen him in his room, it almost seems like he's talking to someone but theres no one there."

"He's probably just playing pretend. I used to have imaginary friends when I was a kid"

"Yah but every time I walk in he always gets so scared to talk. When he's talking with his friends he is laughing, and playing games, and actually talking to them. But when I try to talk to him he barley answers with words let alone full senates."

"Lo that isn't just you. Ro's pretty shy around all of us and he has good reason. Didn't you say his old foster parents weren't all too nice? He's probably just a little scared but he'll come around I know he will." Logan sighed and pressed his face back into Janus's chest "Can we just watch something please I don't want to talk any more." Janus laughed and rubbed his partners back before grabbing the remote

"Anything you want to watch?"

"Remus should be here soon right?"

"Yah he's just tucking Roman into bed"

"Can we watch a documentary then. Remus also likes those, and we can watch one on snakes too." Janus smiled and bounced slightly in anticipation of watching a snake documentary while putting it on. Logan laughed at his excitement but Janus ignored him already engrossed in the show.

*Skip over to Roman after Remus tucked him in*

Roman rolled over in his bed. He just couldn't fall asleep. He tossed and turned before finally sitting up in bed. He looked around the room trying to think of something to do when suddenly Patton.

"Hey kiddo what are you doing up now it's late!?"

"I can't sleep. Where's Virgil?"

"He's resting kiddo. He's kinda tired after playing with you all day"

"Oh... I'm sorry"

"It's ok. OH! Do you want me to tell you a story to help you get some sleep?" Roman nodded excitedly before pulling himself under the covers looking up at Patton to signal he was ready

"Ok. Once upon a time..."

Patton started telling a story about a brave Prince and how he needed to save his true love who was trapped inside a tower locked away by the evil sorcerer. 

"The prince ran towards his love's evil capturer before kicking him to the ground sword above him before shouting 'Leave now Evil Sorcerer and never return!' and the sorcerer ran far far away and at last the kingdom and the prince's true love was free and the evil sorcerer never returned" Patton looked to Roman finding him fast asleep and smiled.

"Good night kiddo. Sweet dreams"

Hey I'm sorry this chapter was mainly dialogue and had no direction. I am mainly focusing this book on Logan and Roman learning to embrace family at this point. I will explain how Patton and Virgil died but it wont be too big a part of this story. Patton and Virgil act more as protectors and guides then as ghost that are trapped in the living world. They were chosen to guide those in need and actually want to stay there and can leave whenever they want.
