Hey Im sorry I couldn't update last week I just had a crap ton of projects to do. But hey heres a chapter.

Roman walked into the house and Logan patten him slightly on the back. "You should get ready for bed. It's been a long day" Roman nodded and walked over to his room closing the door behind him. Roman turned around and gasp seeing his new friends standing in his room.

"Hey your back" The boys turned around and Patton smiled at Roman "Hi kiddo! Did you have fun at the park?"

"How did you know we went to the park?"

"We were watching you guys before you left the house" Virgil mumbled

"Really. How come I couldn't see you then?"

"I dunno kiddo. It kinda seems like you can't see us when the adults are around."

"Or we disappear."

"Huh?" Roman and Patton questioned. Virgil turned and looked at both Roman and Patton who had moved over to Romans bed at that point.

"Can't you feel the difference? Whenever the adults are around it feels different. The aura or whatever you'd call it."

Patton sat thinking before his face lit up. "Wow! I never realized that. How did you, Romans been the only one to have even seen us?" Virgil shrugged "I don't really know. I guess I just noticed it when Janus walked in." The three boys sat in silence and thinking for a minute before Patton jumped up off the bed

"What if we played a game!" Roman giggled and stood up "Which one!"

"Ummm... Hide and seek!"

"Yah! Virgil do you want to play?" Virgil nodded and let a small smile slip through his lips "I'll count first" Roman said bouncing slightly on the balls of his feet. Roman covered his eyes and started

"One... two... three..." Virgil and Patton sprinted out of the room walking through the door and walls "eighteen... nineteen... twenty! Ready or not here I come!!!" Roman shouted. He first looked around his room giggling before opening the door and walking into the hall.

"Where are you?" Roman whispered creeping down the hall way. "Come out come out where ever you are"

"Ok I'm gay." Roman jumped as Janus suddenly entered his view. Janus laughed and kneeled down to Roman's height. "Whatcha' doing bud?" Roman just gave Janus a small shrug and Janus gave a small chuckle ruffling his hair. "Come on you can tell me Ro. You can trust me." Roman looked at Janus before hesitantly speaking "Hide and seek"

"Oh I used to love that game as a kid. Are you playing with Remus?" Roman didn't respond and just kept fidgeting with his shirt, chewing on the neckline. Janus sighed and patted Roman on the head before standing up and saying "Ok kid. Have fun" before walking away.

Roman watched as Janus walked up the stair, presumable to his room, before turning and going back to look for his friends. Roman crept into the living room seeing that none of the adults were there and started looking. He checked behind the TV set and frowned seeing his friends weren't there. He then walked over to the couch and laid on the floor peering under the couch. He stood up and looked around the room when he heard giggling coming from the couch. He frowned in confusion and listened harder trying to make sure he wasn't imagining it. 

Roman hesitantly lifted up the couch cushion and jumped back as Patton sprung out from the couch. "Ah man you found me!"

"What! How did you fit in the couch!?"

"huh? Oh Im a ghost remember kiddo!" To prove his point Patton waved his hand through the couch his light blue hand slipping through it. Roman let out a small 'Woah' before Patton stoped and turned to him "Come on we need to find Virgil!"

"Mmh! Lets go!" The two boys ran to the kitchen trying to find Virgil. They searched the house till Logan found Roman standing outside the bathroom on the first floor. 

"Salutations Roman. May I ask why you are here?" Roman looked up at Logan with a confused look on his face. Logan sighed and put a hand on Romans shoulder "It is late Roman and you must get sleep. It is recommended children get 8 to 10 hours of sleep each night." Roman still didn't respond but followed Logan to his room. Logan reached into Roman's draws and grabbed his Disney themed PJ's. He helped Roman get changed and brush his teeth before pulling the covers over Roman

"Good night Roman." Roman whined and grabbed onto Logans arm. "What is it Roman?" Roman didn't say anything but still held onto Logans arm. Logan looked down at Roman and his grip on his arm. He felt his face soften and grabbed the chair sitting next to Roman's bed "Would you like me to stay with you till you fall asleep?" Roman nodded and Logan sat down after turning out the lights

"Good night Roman"

Hey guys I know I put this out early but I still have to write my other book tomorrow and I still have crew(2 and a half f*cking hours long. I love it) so you get it a day early

Also can you guys tell that I'm trying to show how Roman act's different around kids then he does adults? I'm trying and thats why he'll talk and get all excited around Patton and Virgil but whenever the adults are talking to him he just doesn't respond a lot. Roman just has a lot of distrust in adults and often is scared that he's annoying them and doesn't want Logan to give him back(Because remember the rest of his families the WORST and did that to him) Did I do that well???
