It's been two weeks now since Jimin left the hospital. He hasn't visited since, I can only hope that it's due to his mother's strict regulations and that he's safe and healthy.

I'd be lying if I said that I've been coping fine without him. Namjoon and Jackson have been looking after me but it's been difficult not even being able to see him. I miss him, his voice and presence, everything about him.

"Lina!" I turn to see Evan who is standing by the doorframe of my room. He's holding an iPhone in his hand and he glances around the corridor before handing it to me and walking away without a word. I watch him as he walks away confusedly, before bringing my gaze back down to the screen.

I notice instantly that he was preoccupied in a phone call. I don't know what to do as I stare at the timer that counts each second I spend on the call with the unfamiliar number. I hesitantly bring the phone up to my ear and wait a few moments before speaking.

"Hello?" I say softly and I hear a prolonged sigh of relief through the speaker.

"Lina, it's me."

That's all it takes for tears to emerge in my eyes.

That voice, that beautifully distinctive voice that I have been longing to hear for so long.

"Jimin." I laugh, a mixture of relief and happiness.

"Lina, you need to be quiet because Evan shouldn't be letting us do this," he tells me briefly and I nod although he can't see me. So that explains his mysterious behaviour before. "I miss you so much, Lina."

"I miss you too, Jimin. I need to see you."

"I know, I need to see you too. My mum won't let me visit you, I've tried so hard but nothing will work. But she's travelling to Jeju for a work trip next week so I'll be home alone. I'm going to visit you, Lina."

"That makes me so happy," I smile. "I really can't wait to see you. How are you? Are you okay? Have you been taking your medication?"

I hear his angelic chuckle through the phone's speaker. "I'm fine, Lina, you don't need to worry about me."

"Have you been taking your medication?" I repeat my question, worried in case he hasn't.

"I have, yes. I promise that I have."

"Good," I breathe in relief. "I believe you."

I'm too wrapped up in the happiness of hearing Jimin's voice that I don't notice Evan standing by the door again. He taps my shoulder gently and motions that he needs to tell me something.

"You need to say goodbye now, I'm sorry. But if we get caught I'll lose my job." He looks guilty but I completely understand.

"Jimin, I need to go," I tell him quickly. "I love you, I'll see you soon, keep taking your medication."

"I love you too, goodbye Lina."

I end the call and hand Evan his phone back, instantly hugging him straight afterwards. I say thank you over and over again into his ear as I wipe the few tears that fall onto my cheeks.

"It's no problem, Angelina. I know how much you both needed that." He smiles.

"You're literally the best person ever." I smile widely.

"Well, what can I say?" He laughs and I can't help but hug him again.

"He seems fine, Evan. He sounded so happy! I was so worried in case he's relapse again but he promised me that he's taking his medication."

"That's brilliant, Lina," Evan smiles sincerely. "Remember, don't tell anyone about this, okay?"

"I won't," I shake my head. "I promise."

"Thank you. Anyway, lunch is ready. Are you coming?" He asks and I nod, following him to the cafeteria.

Suddenly everything doesn't seem to be as sad and lonely anymore. For the first time in two weeks a light has been cast over my dark days. I can't wait to see Jimin again, and there's only one more week to wait.
