Janus, Remus, and the other Dark Sides sent Virgil over to the Light Sides in order to gain information about them so that the Dark Sides could take over. However Virgil ended up enjoying their company a bit too much and became a Light Side. So now Janus is trying to gain their trust in order to finish the plan while Remus is just being confusing. Virgil obviously knows about this plan and that's why he doesn't trust Janus and is advising against trusting him.
