nerd nation. the group of people that are closest to mel besides june. the ones who participate and win championships due to her amazing job as captain. they consist of remy, scott, nina, ian, hitomi, reyna, hector, of course, the pyromanic, sajan. with kara in the mix.

they are the ones, who unlike the internet get that when she's being sarcastic, she cares. they know that she has some cahoot feeling with tom holland.

that they know if she had dinner with a scientist dead or a live. the answer would obviously be carl sagan. she already has a phone case with his face on it. Carl Me Maybe.

but they have a slight inclination when she's not herself. were her and tom stopped talking. she wasn't herself and closed herself off. not even sajan trying to set kara's crocs on fire, it didn't cheer her up.

yet. they are her friends and care about her a lot. especially, when she is working herself death, to go the championship. they showed her they cared.even though, they forgot to remove her from the groupchat. it's hector's fault. not really.

they are really excited to see the development of their team leader and spiderman. also, it wouldn't be bad thing if they got together. they make each other soft, ian has seen it with his own eyes, the day they won regionals.

but the nerd nation knows that there is something with the two of them. even though, mel and tom are at different levels . they are still on the same playing field of what mushy emotion they have for each other.
