Yibo's POV

"Welcome everyone! I'm Lui Haikuan, CEO of Liu Corporation. By the way, this is Mr. Xiao Zhan my business partner and also the CEO of this company. " I heard a man speak.

After hearing his name, I slowly lift my head and flinch discovering that he's looking at me.

It's really him, my Xiao Zhan.

He's looking so cold and I can feel it traveling through my whole body, that gives shivers to me. I tightened my grip on Seungyoun's arm. Zhan-ge's gaze travel to my hand holding Seungyoun, I saw him frowned but immediately turn to smirk.

The meeting started but i don't know what are they talking about, because all of my attention is only for one person, to my Zhan-ge. He didn't change a bit after those years, he's still stunning and handsome, except to the cold aura that he's giving.

His eyes that giving a warm and pleasant feeling back then, but now it's all gone. It's all change to cold, serious and intimidating look that will make you submissive by just his gaze.

The meeting just ended like that without me knowing and paying attention, but just focus on Zhan-ge admiring him the whole time.

(A/N: well I'm just a lazy af to describe the whole thing. Let's just say they talk about the terms of agreement for the endorsement)

When we are almost outside of the Xiao Group building, I excuse myself to use the comfort room. Wenhan-ge and Seungyoun offer to accompany me there because my foot is still not okay, but I refuse them and said that it's fine and can handle it myself. I just use that excuse to talk to Zhan-ge.

Now, I'm on my way back to the conference room, hoping that I can still found Zhan-ge there. I'm almost there when I saw Zhan-ge walking out of the room.

"Zhan-ge", I called him. He halted his step and darted his gaze to me.

I walk towards him with much difficulty because of my sprained foot and stop infront of him. He scanned me from head to toe and back his stare to my eyes.

"What do you want?", he said with his stern cold voice. I flinch after hearing him said that but I composed myself.

"C-can we talk?", I ask

"We're already talking", he said in bored and irritated voice.

"What I-i mean is, c-can we talk in private?"

He sigh and signal me to follow him in his office. After I close the door of his office, I saw him walking directly to his table and sit in his swivel chair. I walk towards him with my wobbly feet and stop infront with approximately a meter apart from him. Being this near to him, I really wanted to throw myself to him. Hug him, be in his embrace and feel his warmth again. Those years of longing for him, yearning to be with him again. Now that he's here again infront of me, I won't waste this chance to conquer his heart again.

"Talk", he said.

I took a deep breath and calm myself before saying, " I'm s-sorry Zhan-ge. I-i know what I did is wrong. I hurt you and i know that it's all my fault. I left you behind and abandoned you without explaining to you why i did that.", I pause, take a breath and continue.. " B-but I.. I'm not ready yet. I want to pursue my dreams and-", I got cut off by a loud slam on the table, and he stood up.

"That's Bullsh*t! Just because of that you left me!? You should have just said that instead of running away. You know that I will always support you, I will understand it if you really wanted to pursue your dreams. I can wait for you, but what you did? You left me just because of that f*ck*ng excuse of yours. And now you want me to forgive you? That won't happen!", he angrily said.

Rich tears streamed in to my eyes. My sight become blurry but I tried my best to come closer to him. I hug him with all my might and I feel him stiff in my embrace. After awhile, he began to broke free from my hold to him but I tightened my grip on him. Feeling lost, he just let me hug him.

"I-I'm so sorry Zhan-ge... I'm really sorry and I regret it all... Just.. just please g-give me another chance", I said in my cracking voice.

I lift my head, my eyes met his. I close the distance of our face, until our lips touched. I miss him, I miss this feeling of his soft lips against mine. He didn't stop me or even push me away, so I continue my bold act. I nibble his lower lip, that is the time, he gave in and return the kiss. He returned it with a deeper one. With that response of him, I conclude that I still have a chance, that he still love me and I will hold tightly on that chance and make him accept me again.

He broke the kiss. I still don't want to let go that's why I chased his lips but he turn his face away and my lips landed to his cheek. I sigh and let go of him then he face me again.

"Even if you chase me away, I will still chase you. I know that it's not easy to forgive me but.. I want to prove myself, I want to prove to you that I am worth of your forgiveness. Prove to you that I really love you and make you love me again like we used to be. My love for you didn't change a bit. I always love you, Zhan-ge. Always remember that."

It's been a week now since our conversation of Zhan-ge. I didn't saw him since that day. I want to see him again so that I can start my plan to make him fall again for me. I also ask Seungyoun some advice on it. Well, when I said to him that the Zhan-ge I was always talking about to him is the CEO of Xiao Group, he just can't believe it and thought I was pranking him. In the end, I convinced him to believe me.

Now, we just finished the first half of our shooting for the endorsement. We are packing our things when someone called me.

"Yibo?", I turn to face that person, I can also see that my co-members turn to face the person. I froze when I recognize the person, it's Xuan Lu-jie. For one and half years without seeing her, I can say that she looks beautiful even more.

She walk towards me, cup my face and sweetly smile. "It's really you A-Bo. How are you? I really miss you A-Bo.", She hugged me and I return it back. I heard my co-members said 'woah' in the back.

I broke the hug and said, "I'm fine jie. I miss you too jie."

"Woah there! Who's that beautiful lady, Yibo?", - Sungjoo hyung

We turn our gaze to them. I introduce Xuan Lu-jie to them, and they discover that Xuan Lu-jie and Zhan-ge are siblings. It's not that they are siblings by blood because the two of them are step brother and sister, but they consider each other as true siblings.

They want to ask more but I just say that I will explain it to them if we got to our dorm. After that, Xuan Lu-jie ask them to borrow me to have some talk because we haven't seen for awhile. They agreed, and said I owe them an explanation, after that they left.

Me and Xuan Lu-jie are now on one of her restaurant. Since childhood she's been interested in cooking and now she became a successful chef and own numerous restaurant around the world.

I'm feeling nervous now, knowing that I hurt her brother. I won't be shock if she's angry with me. After all it's all my fault. I just hung my head low and play with my fingers under the table.

After she instructed her workers our orders, she call me.

"Yibo, look at me.", she said with her soft voice. I lift up my head and look at her.

"Shijie, I'm sorry."

"Silly kid. What are you sorry about?", she chuckle.

"For what I did to Zhan-ge. I'm really sorry jie."

"It's okay A-Bo, I know you have your reasons. We can't change what's already happened. Let's move on from the past A-Bo. What matters now is the present and the future."

"But.. But Zhan-ge change because of me."

"Well, that's half true, but it's not just that reason why he became like that."

"What do you mean jie?"

She took a deep breath before explaining.

"Before you reject him. He planned to propose to you, he's so confident that you will say 'yes' to his proposal because he know that you love him. So, if you said 'yes' to him that day, it would be also your wedding day. But unexpectedly you refuse and run away. He feel so dejected and started to destroy everything he touched. On the other hand, our parents is in the business trip that time, but they planned to surprise both of you to witness the supposed to be a big day and take a flight back in China." She pause and sigh. She continue with her crack voice. "On the same day, we got a call from the hospital, saying that our parents are in danger. We arrived at the hospital, our parents are admitted to the ER. Then an investigator came to us, said that the plane they rode got a malfunction and crush. After hours of waiting the doctors declared their deaths. Zhan is the one who got affected the most. In just a day the three person he loved and cared the most left him. He lock himself in his room and refuse to eat for days, if I didn't insist to make him eat his meals he won't touch anything. After the burial, our grandfather talk to Zhan. He wanted Zhan to marry the daughter of one of his business partner, but Zhan got furious and reject it. Zhan lock again himself to his room, after weeks secluding himself, he finally came out but his not the smiling and cheerful Xiao Zhan before."
