It had been about a week since the new term of school began, and I have to admit that Percy is alright, apart from him storming out of divination(because Trelawney said that he would drown, he's a bot of a drama queen if that's what made him angry, because that it a viable way to die!), everything had gone pretty normally, well, as normal as any year at Hogwarts could go.

Although I can't help but feel jealous of Percy, he has every single girl hanging off his every word in a way that I hadn't seen anyone apart from Cedric Diggory do, and he has such an easy confidence about him that you can't help but like him!

This morning at breakfast Percy kept muttering to himself, saying things that made very little sense to me, or any of the others.

"I'll see you soon Wise Girl," he smiled to himself.

I didn't know who 'Wise Girl' was, but Percy seemed very excited about the prospect of seeing whoever she was. Perhaps she's that pretty blonde girl that I saw Percy with at the station. If it is that girl, it would make sense because I did see him kissing her, maybe she is his girlfriend?

First that day Ron and I had divination. Percy still stood his ground and straight up refused to go to another divination class. He told us that he fancied a walk, so we'd probably be able to find him near the lake. He said this in a tone that heavily implied that he would not be persuaded to do anything else, so we gave up trying to persuade him, and headed off to divination, where we spent pretty much the entire lesson racing our pencil cases across the desk.

"Ron, did you hear Percy muttering to himself at breakfast?" I asked as my pencil case waved around Ron's teacup.

"Yeah mate, I think the next exchange student is coming tomorrow, I bet he's close to them and that's why he's so excited," said Ron.

The bell rang, signalling the end of class. Ron and I gathered our belongings and headed down the many staircases of Hogwarts to Care of Magical Creatures. What monster gave us Care of Magical Creatures straight after Divination, I don't know, but whoever it was was a mean person, as we had to jog all the way to Hagrid's hut so that we weren't late for class.

Percy joined us halfway down the lawn and started asking questions about Hagrid because this was Percy's first lesson with him.

"Is he half giant?" Percy asked.

"How did you guess?" Ron frowned.

"I've come across some giants before," Percy said, "he's not quite as tall as them, but he's got the same look about him. I hope he's friendly, he's not going to try and eat me like the last giants I met?"

"Um, no he won't eat you," Ron and I exchanged a glance.

Hagrid was standing just outside the Forbidden Forest holding onto the leashes of five winged horses.

"Blackjack?" Percy asked, sounding completely caught off guard, "what in the name of Poseidon's soggy underwear are you doing here?" Percy asked it took Ron, Hermione (who had just arrived beside Ron) and I a second to work out that he was talking to the black Pegasus the in the middle of the group.

"Yer know this Pegasus?" Hagrid asked. Percy nodded vigorously in response.

"He's my ride!" Percy said, his tone made us all laugh, even though we had no idea what he was talking about, "NO BLACKJACK I DON'T HAVE ANY DOUGHNUTS!" Percy shouted at the black horse, it whinnied, making us all laughed harder.

Percy was even jumpier when it got to dinner, I could seriously tell that he was ADHD more than usual (and you can usually tell because he always fidgets with his ballpoint pen).

"Mate, why are you so jittery?" Ron asked, barely catching his goblet as Percy knocked it over.

"Youknowtomorrowthereisanewexchangestudentcomingwellitsmygirlfriendandireallymissherandcantwaittoseeher!" He said VERY fast.

"Take a breath and say that all again," Hermione suggested, "maybe a bit slower this time."

Percy took a deep breath, as suggested, and said, "You know tomorrow there is a new exchange student coming well it's my girlfriend and I really miss her and can't wait to see her!"

The next morning we all walked down to breakfast together, Percy literally sprinted all the way there, sliding down bannisters, not seeming to care who he pushed out of the way as long as he got to the Great Hall quickly. We all jogged to keep up him, however, this just made Percy laugh and run faster as if we were racing.

When we got to the great hall I noticed that Professor McGonagall was standing at the front of the hall holding the Sorting Hat with the three-legged stall in front of her. Once the whole school was seated, Professor Dumbledore stood up.

"Today we are welcoming our second exchange student, Annabeth Chase," Dumbledore gestured to the doors, where the blonde girl from the station was stood, she was strikingly beautiful, as she eyes the hall, and then began walking towards the front, where the Sorting Hat awaited her.
