~Harry~

The whole class had arrived at Hagrid's hut for Care Of Magical Creatures and were all awaiting Hagrid's arrival and the beginning of the class, but Hagrid was nowhere to be seen.

Almost the moment that we arrived, Percy and Jason had picked up some long sticks and began sword fighting with them, they looked like they had been practising. I could tell that Percy was better than Jason, as Percy had whacked the stick out of Jason's hand several times. Annabeth was sitting on the grass near them reading a book in a strange langue.

"Hi 'arry, Ron, 'ermione," I turned around to see Hagrid holding the leads of about six skeletal horses.

"Thestrals again Hagrid?" I asked.

"Hey what are those?" Percy asked having defeated Jason again, Jason was grumbling in a playful manner seeming only slightly phased by how many times Percy had defeated him. I'm sure that if I was given the chance that I could beat Percy in a duel, I was much better at magic than he was, it was almost as if he had never learnt magic.

"Wait, you can see them?" I asked Percy, shocked that he could see the creatures that so many people could not.

"Why wouldn't I see them?" He frowned, Annabeth came up to him and whispered something in his ear. "Oh," Percy said simply.

The weird horses reminded me of Nico- do not tell him I said that- they were all underworldy, and not to mention that you can only see them if you've seen someone die, which I've seen too much of for my liking.

"School," I declared to Harry, Ron, Hermione, Annabeth and Jason, "is boring!" We had just come out of a VERY boring charms lesson in which I had fallen asleep along with Jason. It was so hard for me to concentrate on what Flitwick was saying when there was so much going on in the classroom, so I decided to sleep instead of learn.

"No it isn't, you just have to concentrate Seaweed Brain," Annabeth scolded me.

"It's not my fault I'm ADHD!" I defended myself.

"But so am I seaweed brain," she laughed.

"Yes but you're a daughter of Ath..." I trailed off knowing that I shouldn't talk about out godly parents with Harry, Ron and Hermione around, as they were still unaware of our heritage.

"Hey Percabeth stop flirting, it's giving me a headache," Jason groaned, I felt myself going red, and I saw Annabeth's face was bright red as well.

"What is Percabeth?" Harry frowned.

"Percy and Annabeth," said Jason, "smash it together, you get Percabeth!"

The others all burst out laughing as we walked into the Great Hall.
