The new boy Jason was really nice, although he also had a black tattoo on his arm like Percy's, which unsettled me.

However, despite this, I now count them as close friends and I'm loyal to my friends, so I've decided to believe the story that Percy told me when we first met, that it was just a tattoo.

They seemed so genuine that it was hard to distrust them, The relationship between Percy and Annabeth was so genuine, and even their friendships seemed just as close as the one that I held with Ron and Hermione, which indicated that they had been through a lot. For the first time in my Hogwarts career, I felt like we were gonna have a normal year.

"We'll show you where we are staying, you're gonna love it, Superman," Percy said at break time with a grin on his face.

"Yeah Kelp Head show me," I said, Percy walked off pulling Annabeth behind him, I followed close behind them. We walked up about a zillion flights of MOVING stairs. THEY WERE MOVING! How were they moving?

We came up to a painting of a lady in a pink dress, which was also moving, I know moving, don't ask it will give you a headache.

"Half-blood," Annabeth said, the portrait swung away from the wall to reveal a hidden door, we all climbed through and I saw a circular room full of sofas, armchairs and coffee tables; there were red and gold hangings and three different doors leading from the room, one said 'boys', one said 'girls' and the last said 'guests'.

Percy and Annabeth walked towards the last door, I followed. They walked through the door, I went after. I looked around, it was amazing. There was a well-tended fire, above it, there was a 60'' tv with an Xbox. There was a fountain for IMs in one corner. Facing the fire were eight different armchairs. The two armchairs that caught my attention were one that was like a lazy boy it just was blue and with lightning bolts on it. The one next to made me laugh.

"Pipers gonna love that chair," I said, with sarcasm woven through my voice. It was pink patterned with lipstick and hearts.

"Yeah definitely," Percy said.

I looked around, there were six other doors leading off from this room, one said 'bathroom', one said 'training room'.

Percy and Annabeth went to their room, telling me that they had homework, I walked to the room that had mine and Piper's names on.

I opened my door and braced myself, having seen Piper's chair I don't know what our room was gonna look like.

It wasn't as bad as I thought, the patterns were hearts and lightning bolts, the colours were blue and pink. Piper was still gonna kill whoever designed this room. The walls were pink and decorated with pictures of me and piper and our friends, there were two desks one was pink and the other blue, the pink one had stationary decorated with hearts and the blue desk had stationary decorated with lightning bolts. The carpet was blue and soft, the bed was a four poster it had pink covers and blue hangings.

There was a note sitting on the bed with my name on it, I opened it and read,

Dear Jason

If you hurt my favourite daughter I will make sure that no one ever loves you again.

I rolled my eyes, screwing up the letter into a small ball of paper I threw it towards the bin, where it bounced off the rim and landed on the floor beside it, meaning that I had to walk over to the bin and place the paper in it.

There was a suitcase that was blue with lightning bolts on it. I opened it and found all of my clothes and books. The books were in Latin so I could read them easily. The clothes were the clothes that Piper and I packed. I had no idea how they had gotten into this strange suitcase as I had packed them into an old rucksack, but I was not going to question it, based heavily on the fact that this school was magic.

I couldn't wait to see Piper's face when she saw her chair.
