~Y/N POV~

After a month of living with that cast on my arm I finally got it off and now have to wear a sling over my shoulder to support my arm. When Namjoon pulled me up to stand it seems like he snapped my bone like a twig between my wrist and elbow. I don't know how he managed that but if I remember correctly that was where he grabbed me. Either way it was clearly intentional and I've barely seen that boy since. Only in class do I see him and he refuses to look at me, they all do apart from Yoongi and Taehyung.

When Taehyung took me to the hospital that day he stayed with me until my dad showed up. We talked and he deeply apologised for what he did to my eye when I know it was an accident. It was my fault for trying to get involved anyway. But he left because he said he heard my dad enter the hospital on the ground floor shouting at a member of staff about my whereabouts so he quickly left and since then we've been on good terms ever since. He now joins our study sessions with Yoongi and now even Joshua and baekhyun join top. It's now formed into a study group. Those two friends of mine were insistent that after what happened they don't want to leave me alone with any of the vampire again.

As for my dad after what happened to my arm, let's just say I had to convince him to not pull me out of school. It took a lot of convincing but eventually he was okay. Going to work now as well was a hassle but I managed too since Joshua was always on my shifts and helped me a lot and the manager was pretty understanding too which was great. I was so worried I'd lost my first job before it even started.

All has been good this past month other than my arm and I've come to really like school now that I get no hassle, not even a look sent my way from the vampire royals other than two. They ignore me and I ignore them. It still hurts though but it helps when I'm around Yoongi or Taehyung.

I walk into history class ready to show Baekhyun and Joshua my new sling since they haven't even seen it yet and it's the first class of the day.

They are the first two I see on the human side sitting at their own desks that are side by side. My desk is behind joshuas so I skip over to them calling their names and they lit up as they see me.

I ignore the stares I was getting from Namjoon, the first time I've seen him looking at me in a while. The three of us took up conversation and then the teacher comes rushing in telling everyone to take our seats. We do so and Mr Go turns on his computer, types away and asks another student to turn off the lights and turns on the projector. It all happened really fast for some reason but we all remained quiet and curious to our teachers urgency to start the lesson.

Mr Go straighten his suit and clears his throat and stands next to the white board on the wall.

"I'm sorry everyone but I have news. Before I tell you the news I must go over a few history notes first to understand why. Usually I would begin this topic towards the end of senior year but things have changed. So with that said has anyone here heard of the story about the first halfblood queen and the seven kings?" Mr Go

There was a series of yes and a few mumbles. Some in awe because the story is very famous and beautiful and some were curses because of the half blood being mentioned.

"Well I'll go over it once more to refresh some minds here in the class. The half blood queen was known then to be a very kind natured woman, the seven kings had a reputation to be mean, ruthless and yet showed no mercy to anyone thus believed to be a threat, until they met their mate. The eight of them created a bond that no one before or even after has had before. They completed each other." Mr Go

A student put up her hand from my side of the classroom and the teacher paused to look at the girl.

"Yes Daehyun?" Mr Go

"Why would seven brothers have on shared mate?" Daehyun

"Good question. It is said that the brothers were so close they too shared a unique bond themselves without their mate. So in return they ended up sharing one mate, a half blood." Mr Go

The teacher then steps to his key board and clicks on a button for a picture of two women standing in a garden together, wearing matching dresses and cuddled close in one another's arms gazing into each other's eyes. They looked like a couple.

"These two women were know as two of the half blood queens ladies in waiting. The woman on the left..." Mr Go

He points to the woman with long brown hair.

"Is Kim Joy, wife of Kim Somi the third lady in waiting....." Mr Go

He points to the other woman with long silky black hair that almost reaches her butt. They were both beautiful women and they looked so happy. I couldn't stop looking at them.

"At the age of sixty eight, Kim joy passed away of cancer. Kim somi gave in to her heart break of loosing her soulmate that same day." Mr Go

Why did that feel like a blow to the chest?
It felt like something was taking away from me and can never be replaced.

Mr Go clicks on another button and another couple come to view on the white board. This time a man and a woman. The man dressed in black suit and red tie with his arm around the woman with short black hair wearing a pink floral dress and again standing in the same garden as the couple before. The man and woman were smiling at who ever was taking their picture looking all happy as if they had the best day of their life's, it even looked like the woman had been laughing at some point.

"And this is Mr Choi Kai and his wife Irene. Kai was the chief adviser for many years and trusted friend after he proved himself to the seven kings that he could be loyal. That's all a story in itself and Kai played an important role in this story as he did fall to the wrong hands and that led him to become a vampire as he was turned against his will. Irene was a good friend of Y/n's and second lady in waiting of the court." Mr Go

Mr Go paused and sighed when looked at someone behind me.

"Yes Daehyun?" Mr Go

"What happened to them?" Daehyun

Mr Go looked at the picture and then to something on his computer screen.

"Irene passed away from old age just after her 83rd birthday. Kai was found laying next to her as he like lady somi, had given in to the heart break of losing his mate. No one knew until the next day according to the story when their son found them in bed together." Mr Go

I felt a lump in my throat and a sudden sob escaped my lips with a tear that fell. Why am I crying?

"Y/n are you okay? Do you need a minute?" Mr Go

I shook my head and wiped my eyes. Both Joshua and baekhyun has turned around trying to express with their eyes that they wanted to be sure I was okay but I nodded at them. I even noticed Joshua a little teary for some reason, but I'll ask him later.

Then I looked around the room and again saw all seven pairs of eyes on me. Some were curious and some were concerned.

"Next picture I'm afraid is damaged so I'm afraid you'll have to bare with me." Mr Go

He clicks on his key board again and another picture comes up. Everyone gasps at the picture, myself included. I literally stopped breathing at what i saw feeling like I could faint right here and right now.

"That's freaky!!!"

I heard someone exclaim from somewhere in the room. My first move was to look to the vampire side of the classroom to see all seven of them just as shocked as I was. The eight of us just looked at each other completely clueless to how this was even possible.

There on the board in clear view was a picture of what looked like the spitting image the eight of us sitting or standing in the garden. There was a woman who sat on a stone bench that looked identical to myself just with longer hair. Beside her was on her the left was a man that looked exactly like Jimin holding the woman's hand and on the right holding her other hand was a man that looked like Hoseok. Then behind her was a further two men identical to Namjoon and Jin, each with a hand on the woman's shoulder and in front of her sitting down at her feet on the stones were three others again like the further three vampire out the seven. Yoongi in the middle and Jungkook on the right and Taehyung on the left.

All eight people were smiling at the camera except the man that looked like Namjoon. He was looking down at the woman with so much pride and love in his eyes it made me almost jealous wishing he would look at me like that. They were smartly dressed in suits black and white while the woman wore a long black dress by the looks of it. They all looked really happy.

"Sir what how did they die?" Joshua

He sticks up his hand as he asked the question with curiosity. Mr Go gazed up at the picture with a sad smile on his face.

"It's quite sad really. The half blood queen, decided to grow old and her mates watched her whither away with old age. Until one day according to the story on her last day alive she had a day with her family and she passed away at the age of 92 surrounded by her mates. According to the children of the eight, their wails of loss of their love was heard throughout the castle and the lands. No one had heard anything like it, they always noted how well they remembered it. They were later all found in their shared chambers together, holding one another until their last breath. It's truly sad." Mr Go

I dropped my head to my desk and covered my face when I felt something break inside me. Why does this hurt so much to hear when I've heard it before but not in so much detail?

"Over the next month we'll be going into more detail of this and I'll be passing out permission slips because next month we'll be going to stay at the Yoo house. We've been invited and this has never happened before. So be sure to get your parents or guardians to sign it please and hand it in as soon as possible." Mr Go

I sit up straight when I mentions Yoo house. My father said that use to belong to a distant cousin on his fathers side many many years ago and the half blood queen had taken it since they believed she was the last surviving blood relative.

Mr Go started to hand out pieces of paper to everyone walking up and down the aisle handing out permission slips.

"When we go we'll also learn more form someone that knows about this more than anyone else since he once did live through part of this." Mr Go

I frowned when Mr Go carefully placed the permission slip next to me on my desk, passing me a reassuring smile.

"Someone still lives there? They must be so old!!" Daehyun

"Indeed he is but you wouldn't think so since he lives happily with his mate. They now live at the Yoo house and have invited all of us to stay for two weeks to Learn more about the history of his parents." Mr Go

He's one of their children. Wow!
He must be old.

"Sir who is it that still lives?" Joshua

Mr Go stops at the front of class and smiles at Joshua with a pause in the whole room while everyone waits for his response.

"King Ren still lives." Mr Go
