~Y/N POV~

After some serious thought, maybe the trip to the Yoo house wouldn't be so bad?

It's just asking my dad is the problem. I know he'll say no before I even ask.

I've had the permission form in my back pocket since I changed out of my school uniform just waiting for the right moment to ask him which I cant seem to find. He's in a good mood and I think if I ask him it'll ruin it for him because he'll become concerned for my safety.

My dad and I were currently eating dinner together at the dining table just next to the kitchen. He was telling me all about his day at work with the gardening that's just filled with flowers that makes me so interested because he knows my love for big gardens with flowers. I don't know why but it just feels like home, even if I have lived in different places around the country from our constant moving.

"So how was your day at school today?" Dad

He asks looking at me from the other side of the table while I've been picking at my food thinking of all sorts, especially the topic of history.

"Just usual stuff at school. Same old classes but history was especially interesting."

My dad raised a brow in interest while picking up his glass half full of blood and bringing it to his lips.

"Oh? What happened in history?" Dad

I just shrugged like it wasn't a big deal when it really was. I don't know why but it didn't only affect me, but also Joshua, he had been off all day and I even caught him crying at one point when Baekhyun was talking about it. I don't know much about the seven vampires in particular since after that I didn't see them in any classes. I think they ditched.

"We learned about the half blood queen and the seven kings."

My dad chocked mid sip of his blood and set down the glass to start coughing and patting his chest to get rid of the blood that must of gone down the other way.

"Are you okay dad?"

That was a weird reaction. I know he already knows all about them since he's the one that told me the story but he made it sound like a fairy tale. My dad just waves at me until he's capable of speaking.

"Y-You learn about them in class? What did your teacher tell you?" Dad

I thought back to those pictures that I have been thinking about all day.

"Not much, just a little about the story like you told me but also the close friends of the eight and how they died and such. It was pretty sad to be honest. I think I even cried over something that I didn't think I'd take so seriously."

My dad nods fully focused on me.

"What else did you teacher tell you?" Dad

"Well not much after that actually. He did show us pictures. He showed us the pictures of the lady's in waiting and the advisor too. Just looking at those pictures alone were weird and familiar but what really shocked me dad, was that the half blood queen looks exactly like me. Like spitting image, everything almost as if we were twins. Ain't that weird?"

I chuckled to myself, picking up my own glass of blood. I like the taste of it with my food when I eat with my dad. My dad however stares off into space but then shakes his head and forces a smile.

"Yeah that sure is strange, sweetie. I guess you can get doppelgangers in the world even after centuries later." Dad

"True but also the seven boys that are in my class also look exactly like the men in the pictures with my twin. That's just even more freaky."

My dads eyes widen and he turns his head to the side to mumble something under his breath but I caught it.

"Damn it." Dad

I frowned at him while taking a sip from my glass. Why is he acting so weird about this?

"There's also more too."

My dad now looks at me with curiosity written all over his face while I reach around to my back pocket to take out the folded permission form and slide it towards him across the table.

"There's a class trip for two weeks to stay at the Yoo house. Apparently the whole class was invited to stay there and learn more about their history since King Ren, is still alive."

I watched my dad carefully take the folded piece of paper and unfolded it to started reading it closely with squinting eyes until they widen slightly.

"So King Ren is alive? And he will be there this whole time?" Dad

I nod straight away.

"Yes, that's what Mr Go said. He and his wife personally invited the whole class and he will be the one to teach us more about his parents since out of everyone left alive he would know exactly what happened to them all."

My dad was still reading the permission form longer than what I thought he would with the creases forming on his forehead deeply in thought. He spoke of something under his breath but this time I didn't hear it.

"So can I go?"

I was eager to know if I can or not. Joshua and Baekhyun are for sure going, they know they wil be able to go but I am unsure if I can. Making this weird sensation build up as if I had been through this before. Strange.

Then my dad looks up from the piece of paper, and sets it down to the side of his plate.

"Are those boys going? The princes that keep hurting you? Because I don't trust them like I use to." Dad

Use to?

Huh?

"I-I mean they've hurt you so much I just don't feel comfortable with you being around them so much. Plus I want no funny business with them either, I know what boys are like." Dad

"I have no idea if they're going dad, it's not like I talk to them that much unless it's studying in our little group."

Yes I told my dad all about it. He's a little more comfortable now that he know Joshua and Baekhyun are with me but he keeps telling me I need to make friends with some girls too. He's a little uneasy knowing I'm surrounded by boys all the time.

Dad hums and looks down at the piece of paper before he sighs sadly and looks at a certain picture on the wall. One picture in particular of my mother, wearing a red silk dress and her hair pinned up in a messy bun smiling directly at the camera. She looks so beautiful, if it weren't for pictures I wouldn't know what she looked like.

"I don't want you to go BUT giving the circumstances I think your mother if she were here she would tell me that you should go." Dad

That took me by surprise and I felt overjoyed and ready to burst and run upstairs to Skype Joshua that I can go on this trip.

"BUT....." Dad

He turned back to look at me with the most dead ass serious expression I've ever seen.

"Promise me you'll stay safe and if anything were to happen. God forbid, text me or even call me and I'll be on my way and more importantly stay with King Ren." Dad

King Ren?

Why?

Oh, maybe it's because I would look like his mother?

"Okay? So does that mean I can go?"

I was ready to pop off my seat at his next answer.

"You promise me first." Dad

I nod and stand up from my chair.

"Yes, Yes I promise!"

"Okay then you can go." Dad

I squealed and ran around the table to kiss his cheek multiple times before running out the room and to the stairs all while shouting back to him.

"THANK YOU DAD!! I'M GONNA CALL JOSHUA AND TELL HIM I CAN GO!!!"

I didn't wait for his response and ran straight to my room and calling Joshua on my laptop. This was great, I didn't think I'd be this excited but I am. This will be great.

~YOO JAEHOON POV~

I watched Y/n run out the room all excited that I said yes but I'm scared out of my mind for her safety there. I know of Kind Ren's intentions and they are harmless, it's obvious but I hope he knows what he's doing in bringing all eight of them together in that house.

It hold many memories of King Rens family and I hope he does protect my daughter.

I look up sadly the picture of my wife, my soulmate. She told me this was going to happen again before she passed, she was freaky that way but I didn't mind one bit. It made me love her so much more.

She's the love of my life and forever will be.

I just hope this works. This time.
