Flashback

It was sunny out when Leah and Ashley had been walking through a store. Leah and ashely had wanted some time alone so trinity was with the neighbor and they thought everything was going swell.

Call

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry it happened so fast and I didn't know what to do except now I'm calling you and and...." The neighbor had called panicked

"Hannah why are you freaking out?, what's going on?, is everything okay?, where's trinity?

"He took her I'm sorry he was stronger than me" Hannah cried

Both lean and Ashley rushed to Hannah's house to see the problem. When they got there trinity was gone and it was clear there was a struggle. Although he had taken her things weren't all sunny over where trinity was. Her father had wanted her this one time suddenly. After not having been much caring towards the girl he thought it best was with him. After all he knew the possibility of her becoming like him and Ashley. They dreaded it or he did and he knew she was better off with him than a semi human mother. Ashley and Leah rushed to Jackson's place and when they got there Leah was especially angry with him. She knew nothing of Jackson's history or heritage but she didn't care in that moment.

All she cared about was getting trinity and making sure she wasn't harmed in anyway. That day is when Ashley knew her plan was set and things would go nicely for the two if anything happened to her.

She except today was going to be different for the two girls. There was a sudden knock at the apartment door and Leah knew it couldn't be Ashley. Especially since Ashley had a key that Leah had made for her in case of emergency of course. So when Leah opened the door to see a cop and a lawyer she got worried. She told them to wait there while she went and told trinity to go to the bedroom. She let the officer and lawyer inside and set them at the table. Leah knew this s could only be bad news that was going to come from them. Of course she didn't understand why they were at her door and if she did something wrong.

She thought maybe Ashley had done something and the two people were looking for her. And Leah was ready to lie for Ashley in a heartbeat. Of course that's not what this house call was for. At least that was what Leah was going to wish it was for instead of what she was about to be told. She feared things might go wrong and she thought maybe she was cursed. Cursed to lose everyone she loved and anything she loved just for simply being her. Although she pushed those thoughts aside and let the people inside and sat with them.

"Ma'am we have some news that you must be aware of" the officer said

"Umm okay" Leah said hesitantly

"You are on the paperwork Ashley green wrote in case of an emergency or accident occurred" the lawyer said

"What does this have to do with me?" Leah asked

Leah feared the worst, she didn't expect what was to come next. She knew then that maybe she in fact was cursed and things could only get worse. If something happen to Ashley then what stopped things from happening to trinity as well. She wanted to panic but she couldn't not now not in front of these people. She always was the one to hide her emotions until people couldn't see her cry or be upset for that matter.

"Ashley wrote in her paperwork that the father wasn't to get the child but a women name Leah Clearwater was, I'm assuming that's you correct" the cop said

"Wait where is Ashley?" Leah asked beginning to panic

"I'm sorry but she was in an accident and didn't make it" the cop said

"What no" Leah teared up but she wouldn't let the tears fall

Trinity rushed out of the room having heard the words about her mother. She rushed to Leah and Leah embraced the girl happily. Leah knew things were about to become complicated for the two of them. Things were changing and they were changing all too quickly for Leah. Although with this all in mind she knew she couldn't hide for long. She knew things were going to be changing more now that Ashley was gone. She knew a lot was going to happen and she hated that fact.

"I want my mom" Trinity cried in Leah's embrace

Leah bring Leah she didn't cry right away because she wanted to be strong for the girl.

"I'm sorry sweetheart your mom she" Leah didn't know what to say to the young girl in her arms

"But Leah we were supposed to travel remember, travel the world just the three of us" Trinity cried

And with that leah broke down and hugged the girl tightly. Leah didn't know this but Ashley knew she wouldn't be in the traveling plans. Of course she couldn't just tell Leah the truth about herself and Leah's situation. She knew more than Leah did and Trinity knew a little only of stories though. She didn't know her mother was telling her legends that were true. She simply thought they were stories and fairytales that were simply that.

Things changed but was it for better or worse that they changed. Would life always be this bad to leah she wouldn't know. Leah didn't know what to do, but she knew she needed to do something. After calming the now thirteen year old down and setting her to sleep. She began signing papers and making calls but when they paperwork was down. She called the one person she knew might help her.
