Chapter 7 - A New Found Friendship
And that's how there friendship began, Trinity even grew close to Leah and Leah adored the girl. Trinity gave Leah some light and happiness she didn't know she'd be able to get here. Months went by when things began to change majorly. Things got better for Leah when she spent most her time with Ashely and Trinity. Getting to know them better and becoming really good friends with the both of them. Ashely never trusted someone so easily or so fast in her entire life, but she knew something Leah didn't. Something that would later be revealed, something bigger than any of them could change.
Of course, Leah didn't know what both Ashley and trinity knew. Leah wouldn't know for a long while and maybe even never. Ashley might have entrusted Leah with her life but this secret was life changing. It was dangerous for anyone in that world or for anyone to know about it. Ashley was scared and she knew that someday she might not be around to save trinity or Leah. She had a plan or a backup plan so to speak just in case something happened to her. She knew that Jackson could never be trusted with trinity's safety even though he knew more than Leah did.
Although Ashley knew that someday sooner or later Leah would find out. And whether or not Leah trusted that she could handle it would be for her to decide. Yes it freaked out the young mother but she knew she had choices to make and this one was her last. She knew they would come for her and she hoped it wouldn't be until trinity was older or old enough to understand. Of course no one can plan what happened when they die or when they die. No one can plan how they go, when they go or where it happens and what happens after.
All someone can do is plan ahead of what will happen to those you love after your gone. That's exactly what Ashley had planned out. She had to find someone she trusted early on in order to have this plan work. She didn't want anything to go wrong or anything to be miscalculated. If it were then things wouldn't add up and things wouldn't work out the way they needed to.

"You got to forgive and forget Lee" Trinity said
She giggled as Leah looked at her with a playful glare. Leah tried to pretend to be upset with the young girl but she couldn't help but smirk at the girl.
"I'll forgive when you give me my cookie back and apologize with a hug" leah said
To say Leah wasn't one for hugs would be an understatement. She typically hated them unless it was her mom, dad or Seth, but she had grown so fond of the girl she could care less.
"But it's so very tasty" Trinity giggled as she took a bite of the large cookie
Leah looked at the girl and began to chase her around the apartment laughing as the girl screamed with excitement. Leah was currently babysitting the girl while Ashley was at work. That's how things had gotten over the almost year Leah had been here. She trusted Ashley more than anything and that was shocking to Leah. Ashley however wasn't surprised to have trusted the girl so easily only due to a secret she kept. Life was good and the three of them were like a little family. Leah couldn't help the growing feelings for both of them and she wouldn't change it for the world. Things were going well the past months that she knew the family of two.
She had helped get Ashely's things from Jackson and they bonded over lost lovers. Things were swell for Leah and her life she loved Colorado and her life here. Of course she had called her family and talked with them all the time. Although Leah didn't let them visit for worries of Sam finding out and stuff. She still made sure to keep them updated in her life and how happy she was with her friend and her friends daughter. She made sure to tell Seth when he wasn't listening to sue to be mindful of their mother. He tended to lately only listen to Leah and her less bitchy but still bitchy attitude. Leah didn't change much except she cut her hair to meet her shoulders. She thought it looked nicer and made her look more mature. Leah even had gotten a job while she was here in Colorado. It wasn't anything big especially because she had no college degree or prior experience in any big job.
But it was enough of a job to pay the rent, have food and get little things in the side for her or Trinity whenever trinity asked. She felt close to the young girl, close enough to feel as though trinity would or could be her own daughter. Leah thought back to wanting to be a mother and even though she had lost her own child. Leah had found light in the one miracle her ancestors brought her. In the form of a girl who was ten years old and very special in more ways than one. Maybe she could sometimes be a challenge but what preteen wasn't a challenge. She even had the opportunity to look back and apologize to her mother for the possible torture or torment she caused her mother when she too was this age.
She had helped trinity through a lot especially when the incident occurred and things got complicated.
