Although she wasn't sure things would end that way, with her coming back home to her family and friends. One thing she did know was she needed out, she needed to get away from everything and this was the best way. She wasn't sure if things would get better for her, but that's all her or her family hoped for. All her parents wanted was what was best for their daughter. All her little brother wanted was for his sister to be happy, but he only had hoped it was near him and not far awat.

Flashback

"Leah will you be my girlfriend?" He asked

"Of course I will Sam, this is perfect" Leah said as they kissed

"I know we have be friends for a long time, but I'm really glad you like me the way I like you or this would have been really awkward" Sam laughed

"Yeah that it would be, but I have liked you for a while now Sam" she said softly but loud enough for him to hear her

They smiled at one another and kissed each other once more. They had been friends for the longest of times now and they were finally admitting their feelings for one another. It was a wonderful sight and Leah couldn't have been happier that day. She wanted this for a year now she just wasn't going to make the first movie. I mean she was bitchy but that's one of the things Sam loved about her. They were completely different from one another which is what made them last so long. Because before they knew it Sam was proposing to Leah.

Leah walked along the beach following the notes that Sam had left for her. When she reached a spot by the cove she broke into a wide firm and tears filled her eyes. There was Sam waiting for her dressed just as nicely as he could and so was she. When she reached him he got down on one knee and she couldn't have been more excited.

"Leah Clearwater we have been the best of friends and have dated and known each other of the longest of times I love you with everything I have will you do me the honor and marry me" he said

"Yes a million times yes" she smiled

They kissed, Sam slipped the engagement ring onto her finger and from that moment the plans were set in motion. Except soon before she and he even knew it things were going to change. But in the mean time they relished in the moment and had fun that night. (If you know what I mean)

Two weeks went by and soon Emily young Leah and Seth's cousin was coming to town. Only to help with the planning of the wedding everyone was super excited. Except for today Sam was missing and wasn't answering Leah's calls and she was worried sick. Her boyfriend or now fiancé was missing and it had been hours. Hours turned into days and days turned into weeks before he finally showed up again. Although this time he was taller, hotter, hair was shorter and he had a tattoo on his shoulder.

"Sam you had me worried what the hell happened?, you go missing for two weeks and suddenly change Everything about yourself" Leah shouted

The couple had been left alone the moment Sam showed up on the doorstep of the Clearwaters home. Sam took it in stride but he was shaking with rage as she was. Except for the difference for him is Sam could lash out and hurt Leah at any moment in the middle of the argument. So he took deep breaths and kept himself as calm as he could and took whatever she said in stride.

"I missed you Sam I was so worried something bad happened" Leah finally stated

"I'm sorry and I'm so sorry to do this but I can't marry you" he said

Truth be told he wanted to be with Leah but it no longer felt right. Also her father Harry Clearwater knew what was happening to Sam and forced him to end things for his daughters safety.

"What" Leah said shocked and confused

"I can't marry you anymore Leah things changed I'm sorry it's me not you" Sam said

She slapped him, ripped her ring off and threw it in his face.

"Fuck you sam uley I hate you, I thought we were so happy but I guess things changed" she said and stormed off

That's when everyone came out and Sam bent down picking up the ring he once again wouldn't be able to give to her. He looked around the room, Seth pissed off and rushed after Leah. Sue didn't understand while Harry did and the last person was Emily. She wanted to comfort Leah but when she looked at Sam about to shout at him too. Sam froze and his whole life changed in a second. He didn't love Leah no she was far out of his mind now as he stared at her cousin Emily young. He found her stunning and absolutely radiant all over. He watched as his life with her flashed through his head and his heartbeat picked up.

She was everything to him now, he would do anything be anything she needed. A friend, a brother, a lover but always a protector. He didn't know, he had not a bit of an idea as to what just happened. Emily stormed over to Sam and slapped him before storming off. He grabbed his  cheek in shock and stared off at the women who was angry with him.

"Son you just Umm you should go we'll talk later"  Harry said

"How could you Samuel I thought you like a son" sue said and shook her head disgusted and disappointed in the man
