Call

"Mom I have some explaining to do" I said

"Yes you do sweetheart" my mom said when she answered the phone

"So Ashley didn't make it when she got into some kind of accident and she apparently entrusted me with being the legal guardian of her daughter when she passed" I said

"What about the girls dad?" She asked causing me to wince and sigh

"He's weird, not a good guy druggie like Sam or something like that I met him once he bugs me so much but Ashley didn't want her to be with him and his new wife" i said with disgust in my voice

As I said those weirds I looked in the mirror to check on trinity and made sure she was sound asleep.

"Druggie?, Sam isn't a druggie Leah" she said

I growled softly which was weird coming from me but I blew it off as nothing and continued what my thoughts were.

"Don't believe you mom don't think Seth hasn't been telling me that he's started a damn cult" i snapped

"Leah you don't understand it's not a cult" she said

"Maybe I shouldn't have decided to come home, I can't do this with you mom he is and Seth told me all about Jared, Paul, plus Embry, Seth say's Jacob too" I snapped gripping the wheel causing my hands to turn white

"Leah watch out" Trinity shouted and I barely missed the car coming at us

"I'm sorry trinity I'm so sorry, are you okay oh shit I'm sorry damn it" I panicked hoping the girl was okay and not scared of me or what happened

"Lee I'm okay I promise I'm fine" she tried to convince me

Although I saw the fear in her eyes and cursed under my breath before hanging up on my mom. I pulled off to the side and cried for everything that's happened and it was hard.

"Lee it's going to be okay remember" Trinity said trying to comfort me

After a good thirty minutes I finally calmed down took a deep breath and started driving again. I decided to not call my mom back and let her worry about what happened as I drove home. If I called back she might yell at me and distract me or bring Sam up again and I couldn't worry about that right now.

Hours passed and I was now driving past the welcome to forks sign. Thirty more minutes and we'd be at my childhood home.

"Trinity, jellybean wake up we're almost there" i said

"Really?" She said with wide eyes

I felt a change in the atmosphere and my body began to shake as I drove down the road. I took a deep breath as I pulled into the driveway of my home. Out rushed Seth, dad and mom all with grins on their faces. I got out of the car and Trinity hesitated to get out not that I blame her of course. This was a whole new place, all new people and she wasn't used to it just yet. So I went to her door and opened it before letting her out I grabbed her hands in mine. This was my way of letting her know things were okay and that these people were safe.

"We're safe here, he won't find you and you'll do wonders here okay, there is even a beach not far from here" i said

"A beach" Trinity said with a hint of excitement in her eye

"Leah your back" Seth said wrapped his arms around me

"Seth this is trinity" i said and introduced trinity to Seth 

"Hi I'm Seth, Leah's brother of course" he said excitedly

"Hi" Trinity waved softly

"Oh who's the beautiful young girl" mom said walking closer

"Oh this is trinity, Ashely's daughter" i said causing trinity to whimper

"Hey sweetie how old are you?" Mom asked

"thirteen" she said

"Cool I'm thirteen too" Seth said with a grin

"We have to work things out but she will probably go to school with Seth" i said

"Leah can we talk" dad said

"Yeah sure, trinity go with my mom and she'll get you settled" i said

"What about you Leah?" She asked with a nervous look in her eyes

"I'll be there soon okay" i said no kissed her forehead before she grabbed moms hand and followed after her

I stepped aside and looked at dad then he hugged me tightly and I hugged back.

"Do you know where her father is?" Dad asked

"Not really in the picture left her mom for another women, reminds me of Sam with his looks and his whole demeanor it's really creepy actually" I said

He raised a brow and nodded as if he knew something that I didn't but I brushed it off.

"So your taking care of her?" He asked

"Yeah speaking of which she needs her noon medication can we talk later" i said checking the time on my phone

"She takes medication?" He asked confused

"Yeah she's got ADHD, PTSD, depression and anxiety" i said as he followed me inside

"What about anger issues?" He asked which was weird but I didn't think much of it

"Recently yes I think it's because of her moms death" i said

"Oh okay" he said

"Jellybean time for your medicine" I called out

She rushed in with Seth laughing softly about something. I smiled knowing she was feeling slightly better with Seth's help.

"Thanks Lee" she said as she took her pills

"What happened to your dad?" Seth asked out of nowhere
