Mikka's P.O.V

I sighed. I went to the Kudo Mansion to pick up Kaiga but Mrs. Kudo (But she prefers to be called mom, which I don't really get why) said he left pretty early than usual leaving me to walk all the way to Teiko alone. Knowing Kaiga, he won't left early for not so important business so I think it is important. Mrs. Kudo didn't even know why Kaiga left early.

Could he be seeing someone somewhere to leave early? Hmm, maybe not. Anyway, I was at the hall as three girls holding a monthly magazine each, approached me making me stop on my tracks.

"Excuse me. You're Mikka Tamuchi, right? We're your fans and we would like to... Uh, you know..." the brown haired girl said shyly with a slight blush on her face. I just smiled sweetly and took out a pen.

"Sure girls. Thanks for the support by the way," I said as their eyes sparkle with glee and handed me their magazines and I signed it.

"Thank you, Tamuchi-san!" said the black haired girl with a ponytail.

"Why aren't you with Kudo-kun? I thought you were always with him?" the other black haired girl said as the other two shushed her up. I look at the other two l, confused.

"Don't ask her that. She might had a fight with Kudo-kun," the brown haired whispered though I heard it loud and clear.

"Yeah, having a fight with your boyfriend is on of the worst thing in life," I widened my eyes at her other ponytailed girl's statement and blushed.

"I-Ie. You must misunderstood. Kaiga and I didn't had a fight. He just arrived earlier than me today, that's all. And he's not my boyfriend," I let out an awkward laugh scratching the back of my head. The girls ooh-ed and bowed.

"Sorry for the wrong idea. We'll go now. Thank you again, Tamuchi-san!" then they left and I sighed, continuing on my tracks.

Most fans really misunderstood my relationship with Kaiga. Most of the shots we have together is full of cheesy poses our photographer dictates us, so they really got the wrong idea about us. We're just friends, that's all.

I was near our classroom when I bumped into a someone, leading for the paper that someone is holding to fall. I slightly panicked and help that someone pick up the papers.

"Oh, sorry about that," I awkwardly said as we pick up the papers.

"It's okay, it's my fault for not looking where I was going," it was a girl with a very familiar voice. Once we picked up all the papers we stood up and I looked at the girl, to find she has long pink hair tied into a ponytail and a pair of cute pink eyes. Our eyes widened in realization.

"You're the girl with that Kudo/Aomine!" we both said pointing at each other. Then, in a weird outcome, we both giggled.

"I didn't expected you to bump into me today. Hi, I'm Mikka Tamuchi," I said in a friendly way. Who knows, we might be friends someday.

"Nice to meet you, Tamuchi-chan. I'm Satsuki Momoi," she said in a friendly way too. Our little conversation were cut off when two annoying Apes came in.

"Oi, Mikka/Satsuki!" I looked at Momoi-chan's back as she look over her shoulders to find one black gorilla and a brown chimpanzee.

"Mikka, what are you doing with the gorilla-man's friend?" Kaiga whined with his eyebrow raised.

"Oi, Satsuki, where the fucking hell were you?" is all that Aomine guy said to Momoi-chan.

"Becoming friends with Tamuchi-chan/Momoi-chan," we both said in unison. Wow, we already have something in common. We both have idiots to babysit.

"Eh? But she's this gorilla's girlfriend!" Kaiga whined, pointing at Aomine.

"She's not my girlfriend!" Aomine defended.

"Oh, so you're saying you are a gorilla?" Kaiga said mockingly with his signature victory smirk on his face.

"No, I am not!" Aomine shouted.

"Ouch, my ear! Run around the running tracks 20 times for shouting on your master!" Kaiga commanded pointing at the direction of the running tracks.

"Haven't I told you, I'm not your butler!" Aomine yelled again as Kaiga got annoyed and took his arm, twisting it. Aomine winced in pain but held back his scream. I know that hurts. Very much.

"Make that fifty for shouting again," Kaiga said coldly as someone jabbed his side making Kaiga clutch his stomach in pain. "Kuro-kun~" Kaiga pouted.

"Kaiga-kun, stop picking fights," Kuroko-kun said as I chuckled at his remark. Yeah, Kuroko-kun and I are partners in keeping Kaiga out of trouble. I would smack Kaiga as Kuroko-kun jab him. It was mean but fun to do. Kaiga, Kuroko-kun and Aomine started a.. Oh, how would I put this? Conversational argument? I sighed and looked at Momoi-chan who was looking at Kuroko-kun, a blush was across her face.

I smirked and lean to her ear and cupped my hand on my mouth. I blew some air in her ear making her squeal. The three boys didn't moticed and continued on what the are doing.

"Mesmerized by Kuroko-kun?" I asked, smirking. She blushed and puffed her cheeks. Oh, she's so adorable.

"Um... Nope. Nice meeting you, Tamuchi-chan but, I need to give this to the teacher's office. Excuse me," she said, cheerfully and running off. I chuckled and turned to the boys, clapping my hands.

"Okay, nitwits! Go back to the room cause class will be starting soon!" I said in a tone of authority. Aomine glared down at me snorting.

"Who are you to tell me what to do?" he asked as I glared at him but kept a smile, giving him some creeps.

"Just do it, idiot. If you don't want to be my butler well at least do what she is telling you with no complain in order to live," Kaiga said smirking and walking off to our classroom together with Kuroko-kun. They know me too well. Aomine again looked at me with questioning eyes. I raised my eyebrow.

"Oh? So now what you gonna do?" I asked as he rolled his eyes and walked into the room. I sat in front of Kaiga and took out a notebook with a label of Basketball 1, and wrote down some things.

*Time skip*

School ended, fast and Kaiga, Kuroko-kun and Aomine changed clothes with Momoi-chan and I waiting outside. I found out the three of them entered the basketball club all together and Momoi-chan is the manager. I was planning to be a coach or a manager but it was all taken so all that's left for me is to be the co-manager who'll assist Momoi-chan in her works.

The three finally got out the boy's locker room which is taking like forever. But then again, there is no such thing as forever. Like I was expecting, Aomine and Kaiga are bickering again as Kuroko-kun walk quietly along the way to the gym.

We were the first one there, or so we thought. When we get there, first thing I saw was a red headed teen playing shogi with a green haired male. The green haired was familiar because he was in our class and of course, the red headed too.

"Woah! Sei-kun! Busy, are we?" Kaiga suddenly said making the red haired boy look at him with a slight glare. He's just as tall as Kaiga just to inform you.

"Kaiga. Surprise to actually see you here," yeah, me too.

"Eh? What do you mean?" Kaiga pouted keeping their conversation in tracks. I see the others, including the green haired, are confused how they knew each other. Momoi-chan tapped me.

"Uh how do Kudo-kun know him?" she asked.

"They're cousins," I simply said as she ooh-ed.

"So you are some basketball members, huh?" Akashi asked looking the others then he saw me. "I thought Satsuki is the manager. Why are here, Mikka?"

"Oh, I'm just the assistant manager, Akashi," I said making a small hand gesture. I sense his annoyance so I just decided to keep quiet. Well, that is one thing both me and Kaiga love doing. Annoying the hell out of Akashi. Though, it's kinda dangerous.

"Shintaro, we can stop for now," Akashi said to the green haired male. Oh! Yeah! He's Midorima Shintaro. He already has a reputation bringing random things anywhere. I kinda noticed those things he brings are according the lucky items of the day for Cancers in Oha Asa. I knew that because Oha Asa is under our company.

Midorima kept the shogi board and pieces away as Momoi-chan and I went to the bench, waiting for the captain or coach. After a few moments, a man with black hair who introduced himslf as Nijimura-senpai approached us and we told him we're the managers. He nodded and told the first year to line up.

He introduced himself and told them to introduce themselves one by one. They tested their skills and I was actually surprised by what the the 4 of them showed. Momoi-chan and the others were surprised at what Kaiga can do, making me smirk. I'm really proud to say, I took part on training him.

After a week, Nijimura-senpai told the first year to line up.

"So, Coach decided to put 5 of you first year in the first string due to excelling in basketball. Girls," he nodded and we looked at the list he gave us earlier.

"Step forward please. Aomine Daiki," Momoi-chan said as he stepped in front.

"Midorima Shintaro," I said

"Murasakibara Atsushi," I noticed that Murasakibara guy is huge and have long purple hair.

"Akashi Seijouro."

"Kudo Kaiga,"

"That's all. Start pract-," Nijimura-senpai said but was cut off by Kaiga, raising his hand "Yes Kudo?"

"What about Kuroko Tetsuya?" he asked as Senpai raised an eyebrow.

"Coach didn't see that he excel--"

"But I need him in the team. Without him, I'm like a ship without direction," Kaiga said looking at Kuro-kun.

"How so?" Senpai asked as Kaiga think of an answer then he snapped his finger.

"Have two on two with us, you'll see," Kaiga said, smirking. Nijimura-senpai seemed to get his point and accepted it calling our vice captain. Kuro-kun went beside Kaiga and they started playing. First to 30 wins. The did their thing and I kept smirking like a maniac. The game ended with Kaiga and Kuro-kun winning.

"See?" Kaiga asked looking at the captain and vice captain who was huffing for air. Nijimura-senpai looked at him and nodded.

"I'll think about it and tell coach. Surely, he would think about it too," he said and left. Kaiga cheered.

After that, the practice started. I already listed up some data about the first string players and here what I got.

Aomine Daiki, good control of the ball. Has fast reflexes and immense speed. Great accuracy in shooting at any directions. Though, has high egos and perverted.

Midorima Shintaro, accuracy in shooting long-range shot such as in the middle court. So much trust in horoscope that he would always bring the lucky item of the day for Cancers.

Murasakibara Atsushi, great blocking due to his tall height which is 2 meters but cannot shoot long-range. Fond of sweet and usually eats them in breaks. Akashi didn't mind.

Akashi Seijouro, umm, quite actually hard to explain. You'll find out sooner or later.

Kudo Kaiga, unknown. Why? I might see Kaiga playing basketball all the time but I don't really know his real skill is. It's really hard to read Kaiga due to his random mood swings that actually affect his skills and thinking. I don't know his exact skill. Sorry.

So, yeah. That's the first string.

Ayooooo!! I started off with their first year, how they met each other. Well, not really, just how they get in the first string. So I did my review but I would like to call it a research. I've watch KnB uhh... I don't know if it's an OVA or flashback but I watched it so I skipped the next chapter to their second year.
