3rd Person's P.O.V

It's time for the Inter School Basketball Tournament--if that is what you call it--and everyone, supporter, enthusiast and other--you name it--are going in the venue to watch the first round of the 1st block.

"Woah! It would be tough for Akirane this year," a man said as he look at the board where different blocks are written. Akirane Middle School's first opponent is the reigning champion of the Tournament, Teiko Middle School.

"Yeah, I kinda pity them. They're going against monsters," his friend said and looked at the other side of the board and his eyes first landed on Seijoh Middle School. "And aren't there rumors that three of the Living Prodigies are in Seijoh Middle School?"

"Huh?" The first man said as he looked at the other block to see the kanji character of Seijoh, "Uhh yeah. Well, it's not just rumors now, it's official.  Mitsuchi, Yamamoto and Mibuichi are in Seijoh."

"That only means, Teiko is in a big challenge this year too,"  the second one said as another man with brown hair pass through them and turned to look at the huge board and saw the two powerhouse schools.

"Teiko.... Seijoh... Kiseki no Sendai.... Living Prodigies," a sigh escaped his mouth and walked into the venue with his hands inside his pocket.

---

The crowd cheered on their seats inside the gym yelling cheers for the teams they support.

"Teiko Teiko Go Go Go!" The Teiko supporters chanted behind a blue banner with Teiko's name written on it. Finally, the host of the Tournament, Taichi Kudo, stepped in the middle of the court with a mic in his hand as the crowd stopped into silence.

"Ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to the annual Inter-School Basketball tournament of the Middle School level! Today and in the next few weeks, we will witness the strength of different schools but only one will reign! We all witnessed that last year, Teiko Middle School was the victor of this tournament but this year, there will be a new competitor in the tournament! The new and improve Seijoh Middle School!" The Seijoh supporter goes wild as Taichi Kudo brought out a smirk similar to his brother and nephew.

"This year, we will witness the strength between two prodigy groups! The Living Prodigies and Kiseki no Sendai! Who shall win? Will one of them reign or is there still one unknown group that can bring them down? Is the thrill getting into you?" The crowd goes wild and Taichi Kudo put up his free hand as if welcoming someone with open arms, his smirk never fades.

"Well then, WELCOME AGAIN TO THE ANNUAL INTER-SCHOOL BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT!"

(inserts FANTASTIC TUNE)

All of the teams line up inside the court according to their divisions and positions. The last teams that stepped into the court are the aspiring teams to win. Seijoh Middle School and Teiko Middle School. The crowd gone wilder once they saw them. The atmosphere inside the court was heavy and all of them wears serious faces. Especially the very well known troublemaker of Teiko, Kaiga Kudo.

"Teiko Teiko! Go Go Go!"

Teiko was wearing their white and light blue jacket and pants as their distinguish uniform.

At the other side, Seijoh is in the same state as Teiko with their tangerine and blue jacket and pants as their own distinguish uniform.

"Let's go Seijoh!" (Just remember the cheer for GSW back in 2015)

They line up on there own blocks with their captains in front. Akashi Seijouro, the red headed captain of Teiko Middle School, also known as the Generation of Miracles was of course in front bringing tension to the nearby teams but he ignored their tensed state.

The opening went on smoothly with no interruptions and the first round started with Akirane Middle School versus Teiko Middle School. Each team uses the half of the court for a 5-minute paractice. The whole practice, none of the Generation of Miracles' member talked nor signalled, making the Akirane players wonder how they communicate.

"Man, this is our first time going against Teiko. It's giving me goosebumps," an Akirane player said as he watch the opponents practice with no sound leaving their mouths.

Up in the bleachers, Kaiga's mother together with his siblings are watching. Kyle was being carried by his mother as Kyla was carried a maid.

"Mom? Why is nii-san so quiet?" Kyle asked, his eyes never leaving his older brother.

"He's just saving his energy for the game, son," Miokia said and Kyla hummed.

"We've never seen Nii-san this quiet before," she said and their mother giggled.

"Oh, but I do. You just didn't live long enough to see, sweet cheeks," Miokia said and the twins pouted.

After 5 minutes the official game started. Teiko's are in their jerseys as their first five consisting, Akashi, Aomine, Kise, Midorima and Murasakibara are now positioned in the court. Murasakibara is ready to jump for the ball.

The referee tossed the ball up and at the peek, the centers jumped but Murasakibara caught it and passed to Aomine. Aomine dribbled the ball with a grin and pass through all the guards then dunked the ball on the hoop.

At the bleachers, a brunette was watching them intently with his green eyes and noticed the other brunette is bench and Teiko isn't doing its best yet.

"Oi, Taiki," he looked at his side and saw an orange haired girl with blue eyes. "Watching Kaiga's game for the first time in two years?"

"Pssh, shut up, Jana. I'm just here because of dad," Taiki said as Jana sat beside him also watching the game. She then noticed Kaiga was benched.

"Woah, are they benching Kaiga for reservation?" Jana asked as Kise just copied a move from one of the opponents and pass through their defense, taking a shot.

"Nope. I highly doubt that. Just by what is happening now, it is just right to say that Akirane have zero chance of winning," Taiki said with a bored expression. The score board agreed with his statement. It's only five minutes and Teiko already reach the score of forty.

"Well, I see that. It's 40-10. And if they put that guy in the court, the other three quarters are pointless," Jana said as Kaiga seem to notice their stares and turns to them. He glared at Taiki and then turned to Jana and waved. Jana waved back at him.

"Urgh, why are you so nice to Kaiga?" Taiki complained as Jaa giggled.

"It's because he's my boyfriend's cousin," Taiki just blushed but didn't talked.

Meanwhile, Kuroko noticed Kaiga's position and turned to look at the bench and saw Taiki Kudo, their former captain in grade school.

"Kaiga-kun, the first quarter is about to end," Kuroko said to the brunette and he turned to him then back to his teammates who are effortlessly beating the opponent. The Akirane players are already drenched in sweat.

"Hmm, I'm starting to think that maybe they would give up, but they're tough," Kaiga said leaning back with the support of his arms. "Hey, Tetsu-kun, I still don't get Sei-kun's plan? Yeah, I know it'll be easy to beat Akirane Middle School, like they were top 20th last year but why they have to do all the fun?"

"They're reserving your energy, Kaiga-kun," Kuroko simply said and look down at his wristband.

"Yes, we'll need to keep your newly found skill a secret until we need it. You're the Secret Ace, Kaiga," Kyumre Kudo said from behind with a smirk.

"I know that, Dad--wait a second! Where in the world did you go?" Kaiga asked noticing that his father was missing for a while.

"Came to pick up your mother and your siblings," Kyumre said and Kaiga looked up to see his siblings waving at him and he waved back. Not so far from them are some of Kaiga's fangirls and thinking that Kaiga was waving at them, they squealed.

"Well, anyway! Where's Mikka and Satsuki? I'm thinking those two are should be here," Kaiga asked and his father pointed at at the back.

"They're getting refreshments for you guys. Right after this game, we'll be watching a game to know whose your next opponent will be," he said and Kaiga raised an eyebrow.

"Ehh? But we're str--" Kyumre glared at his son and Kaiga flinched.

"Don't be so confident, Kaiga. If we don't study our opponents, they'll still study us and that might lead to our defeat. Don't ever underestimate your opponent," the older Kudo said and Kaiga huffed as the buzzer buzzed after Midorima shot a perfect three. Sweat seems to be invisible to the Teiko's members but Akirane players seems to be bathing on their own sweat.

"No...n-no... We can't win..." One if the Akirane players on the bench muttered.

Aomine looked at them and right on time, the two managers arrived with their water bottles.

"Sorry, we're late!" Satsuki said and gave them each their bottles.

"What took you so long, ssu?" Kise asked Mikka and the girl's eyebrows knitted. Just when she was a out to answer, a familiar voice called from behind.

"Yo, Kaiga-yan! Tetsu-yan!" They all turned and saw people wearing blue and tangerine uniforms. Aomine, Midorima and Akashi glared at Seijoh Middle School's aces as Kise's eyes widened but the remaining three never changed their expressions.

"Nice glasses, Tada-kun," Kaiga complemented as the white haired basketball player fixed his glasses and nodded. Beside him are Alejandro and the other side are Mitsuchi and Kira. Tadashi looked at Midorima and smiled, but all the green haired did was glare.

"Whhaaa! Kaiga-yan! No fair! You complimented Tada-yan but not me who greet--" before Kira could finish his sentence, Luciano smacked his head.

"Be quiet, Bastard!"

"What are you doing here, Peasants?" Akashi asked as Mitsuchi smiled at him.

"So much for greetings. Well, no biggy, we're just here to watch your game. We're off now. See you next time, second Living Prodigies," Mibuichi said and they left, but before they left, Kuroko and Kaiga stood up.

"Yamete!" They said in unison and the whole Seijoh team turned back to Teiko. Kaiga grinned before saying...

"Sorry, but I think I heard that wrong. Did you said second Living Prodigies?" The other team was silent before Kuroko talked.

"Gomen ne, Mitsuchi-kun, Kira-kun and Tadashi-kun. But we are not the second Living Prodigies," Luciano's eyes widened at his statement.

'And since when did he got there?' The Italian asked. Unexpectedly, Kaiga swung his arm around Kuroko and Akashi then grinned wider.

"Because we are the Generation of Miracles and we swear to win this tournament!" Kaiga declared and Mitsuchi laughed. An amused laugh.

"Oh, you never changed, Kaiga. We are looking forward for our game, Kaiga and Tetsuya," Mitsuchi said and walked away with his team. After that they left, the second quarter started but with what just happened, tension broke out into the court, intimidating Akirane leading to their loss.
