The party was scheduled for today.

And nothing in the world that Rania could do to avoid it, she had given her word and she abided by it.

It was not that she was under confident, she had been a performer once which seemed like a life time ago ,it was going with the particular someone that irked her.

And especially things were awkward after that brief moment between them and nothing that they both could do to dissipate it.

Mrs Knightley had given her dress to wear , Rania didn't care how it looked all she wanted was for this wretched party to get over.

Evening arrived and half an hour before leaving for the party Sean came back home.

He was going to wear a tuxedo and he had to be alert during the whole party Mr Conwell was a wretched man and he wouldn't  be concerned about his own daughter if it came to his own well being.

He went to his room, his thoughts occupying his head, when he saw that Rania was getting ready and the make-up lady had finished her final touches, the only thing left was to put lipstick.

Both of them had not noticed him entering and he heard her say ' apply me any lip shade other than red, I don't like that colour'.

He chuckled and they both were startled, Rania gave him a look and gestured to the lady to go on with her work.

He came out after taking a shower and was wiping his hair.
He could see her from the corner of his eye.

He deliberately started getting ready slowly.

' I'm going to be stand outside until you change' she said irritably and walked off.

She looked different in a silver gown.

She looks beautiful. He thought.

After getting dressed he opened the drawers and saw that her bracelet was kept there, he took it out.

He pulled the door open and he saw her standing.

He stepped out and stood behind her, she sensed his presence and turned.

Her eyes were emotionless, she looked at him and was about to say something

' Miss Conwell aren't you forgetting something' he quizzed.

When he didn't get any reply he took the bracelet out from his pocket.

He pointed it towards her ,but she didn't make any move to take it or wear it.

He pulled her wrists up and made her wear the bracelet.

She chuckled' the only thing you do know it to how to force someone to do your bidding'.

'you know me so well in the span of one month that we have known each other, it surprises me'. He replied.

' I wish I'd never come here and met you, the worst mistake of my life was agreeing to come to London' .

' And what about your engagement miss Conwell that you broke, just think what if you were married or engaged what would be your situation then?'. He said venomously.

' Do not talk about my life as if you know me, if only you could find everything out by spying, you are spiteful and an arrogant man Mr Knightley'. She replied with equal venom in her voice.

He moved closer towards, looking furious and then he moved backwards.

' let's just get to this wretched gathering'. He said.

You only have to endure her till the night, next morning she will be leaving, just deep breaths, you know that this girl is something else, keep calm. He reassured himself.

They went down and into the car  and the driver was off to the venue.

The silence was heavy in the car both Sean and Rania were unaware of  the drama that Mr Conwell had prepared for them.
