I was on my patrol, one of the few times a day I'd come out. I might have stayed in all day, but Lord Lauren insisted that I at least come out to patrol once a day at the minimum. Ariana would sometimes come with me on my patrol since she was also just as or even more sad than me. Will seemed to have disappeared and wasn't seen since the shadow knight attack. That was the only good thing about the attack. As soon as my patrol ended for the day I planned to go home and lock myself in. Without Jack, everything just seemed dull, he always knew how to make a boring day bright. Just then Alice came running up to me, her eyes wide. "What is it Alice...", I said. "Lizzie, come on. We need you.", said Alice. "Get someone else.", I said. "Ugh, it didn't have to come to this.", said Alice then she dragged me to Angie's house. Yeah I know I could have just used the wind to knock her back or just go into my jury of nine form, but in my normal state she was practically the only one who could take me on.

Once we reached Angie's house which was on the other side of the village I found that all my friends were there. "What are you guys doing here?", I asked. "Lizzie, we want to help you. We know you miss Jack, but you need to carry on.", said Jessie. "I may not have known him as well as you, but he'd want you to keep going on. He'd never want you to stop doing what you love.", said Ari. "It's just, nothing is going as it was anymore. Why can't it be like it used to be?", I said. "Lizzie, time moves on. We can't always have it just the way we want it, and like you always say: ya just gotta keep calm and carry on.", said Alice. Just then Nico came in with Ariana. "Why am I here?", asked Ariana. "Same as Lizzie, we want to help you too.", said Jessie. "I don't need help.", said Ariana jerking away, a very Un-Ariana like thing to do. "Ariana, what's gotten into you?", asked Angie. "None of your business!", she snapped. "Ok jeez, we just want to help you.", said Ari. "I said I.don't.need.your.help!", growled Ariana and she stormed out the house.

Once Ariana had left after her outburst, Ana and Nico went out to calm her down. Something had gotten into her that wasn't like her, at all. We were all standing outside Angie's house talking. What they said earlier had made me feel, a little better. I still missed Jack don't get me wrong, but it took my mind off him. Jessie was standing under a tree and a branch fell on her, knocking her to the ground. "What the heck tree!", exclaimed Jessie. Angie came rushing toward her. "Jessie! Do you need some help?", asked Angie. "Angie not trying to be mean here, but I feel like we could use a more established magics user.", said Jessie. "I'm going to have to agree with Jessie here.", said Ari. Just then a girl came out of the bushes, she had elvish features, black hair, and dark skin. "Sup guys.", said the girl.
