Chapter 2, The Years
Later that day my parents were informed about my ability. They were excited to learn that I had magics but were very confused as the only people with the magic of the Jury of Nine were the Jury of Nine themselves, but that power had to be given to them by the Lord of O'khasis. After that day and for the next few years my parents had taken me to many diffent villages to learn as much about my magics as possible. We had gone to just about any village in the whole region of Ru'an except for O'khasis because well we weren't exactly sure how they'd react to find out that someone had been born with the power of the Jury. Some things happened but well... They weren't exactly exciting, you see while my adventure technically began when I was nine I'm just speaking as this is when I learned of my ability that is the cause of the reason so I'm going to fill you in on some of the more important things that happened during the years until I was sixteen when things really took a turn.
Xx
Ever since the day I had learned of my ability my parents have been taking me on many trips around Ru'an to learn how to use them. We went to just about ever village except O'khasis. We go on so many I am hardly at home, I miss my friends...

It seemed like one ability was not enough for me. Will had been mad at me since the whole "jury of nine" incident and wanted to get back at me. He had been working his magics to the limit and was able to use them to show someone's worst fear. He was about to use them on me, but then I felt a tug in my gut and a freak gust of wind hit him. After the wind hit him I blacked out. That day I learned that I could control wind but at a cost, it would make me really tired.

After I had discovered both of my abilities I had worked hard to master them which wasn't easy and trying to do both at the same time was tiring.
Xx
Like I said when I was nine I wanted to be a guard so I trained a lot but due to having to learn my abilities and going to other villages my training time was small so when I was twelve I trained as hard as I could and I kept training until I was fourteen when I could spar against the head guard and win. I still train but not as hard during those two years.
Xx
Finally when I was fifteen I completed my life dream, becoming a guard. My initiation ceremony was the same day as Ariana's and we both celebrated our achievement with friends and family. We did our best to keep our village safe from the monsters within the forest. At that time we though life couldn't get any better, but when we all turned sixteen everything changed.
