Shota stared at himself in the mirror. His dark hair was down and hung to his shoulders, and he had dark circles forming under his eyes. He let out a soft sigh and finished brushing through the mess reluctantly.
He set the brush down afterward and rummaged around the drawer for his scent blockers. He put the patches on and then took his suppressants. He noticed that he didn't have very many left and would have to go to the pharmacy soon.
He went to get dressed in his uniform that he had ironed the night before. His mother would have been doing it had she liked her son. But him having a quirk like his, she didn't bat an eye towards him.
His parents gave him enough money to be able to pay for food while they left on their trips out of the country because they didn't want to be seen with a child that had a villain's quirk.
Shota got used to their treatment and kept to himself, deprived of affection, which was something neither beta wanted to show their omegan son. He had to switch schools when he was in middle school because of the constant bullying. His classmates called him broken and told him that nobody would even want an emotionally detached omega with a villain quirk.
He didn't let their words get to him. After he switched schools, things got a bit better until puberty hit, and his scent became more attractive towards hormonal alpha males. This drew unwanted attention to the boy.
The first time something happened was in the locker room. He was lucky a teacher found them before anything could happen, and he was sent to the infirmary for scent blockers and suppressants.
He still hadn't even had his first heat due to the suppressants he took. Or even made his first nest. It's not like he knew how, anyway. Usually, an omega would have the help of a parent and have their first one built at the age of 5, but not in his case.
Shota grabbed his bag and keys before leaving his room. He didn't stop for anything to eat as he passed the kitchen and left out the front door.
Today would be almost like the first day of high school all over again, except he was going to be put in the hero course. He only got into it because he kicked some loud blond's ass in the festival. He couldn't remember his name for his life of him.
He shivered as the brisk October breeze blew. His hair had fallen into his face as he walked past houses that soon turned into small shops. The roads were busy as morning traffic went by. He crossed the street and made his way into a cafe that he frequented.
The bell jingled as he entered. He let out a soft sigh as he was immediately surrounded by warmth and the smell of coffee and sweets. He didn't care much for the sweets, but the coffee was to die for.
He stepped up to the counter and ordered his usual. He had zoned out and hadn't heard the bell jingle or noticed the presence of an alpha behind him. He quickly came back to himself when someone tapped his shoulder.
"Is everything okay?"A warm voice asked as Shota turned slightly to see who it was. His face turned pink when he saw him, and his voice caught in his throat. The alpha had tanned skin, blue hair, and eyes. He almost got lost in them as the scent of linen and sunshine filled his senses.
"Oh! I didn't think I'd be seeing you outside of school as well. You're Aizawa Shota, right?" He asked cheerily as he looked down at the gawking omega. Shota nodded his head slightly and backed away from him. His legs were a bit shaky, so he rested a hand on the counter. "Y-Yes, I-I'm sorry I don't know you." He mumbled softly.
The boy rubbed the back of his neck and chuckled softly. "I didn't expect you to. By the way, I thought you were amazing in your round with Yamada-kun. " He gave him a small apologetic smile, noticing how shaken he was. He pulled his wallet out when he noticed the person came back with the drink. He leaned past Shota and paid for him. "The name's Shirakumo Oboro."
Shota turned his head away as Oboro got closer to him. His scent was even stronger, which was natural for teenage alphas, but he could tell he was more dominant with the way he carried himself.
He realized that he was paying, and he shook his head. "N-no, you don't have to pay for me." He said softly as he held up his hands. Oboro ignored him and handed him the cup. "It's fine." He replied softly as he bought himself 2 coffees.
"Oboro!" A loud, slightly whiny voice came as the door opened. Shota looked behind Oboro, seeing a familiar blond. "We need to get to school hurry up and grab-" His eyes widened when he saw Shota's smaller form behind him. "H-hey there. . " Hizashi's voice cracked, and his face went red. Shota glanced down at the cup in his hand, not really in the mood to talk that morning.
Awkward silence pulled at the air, which was strange when Hizashi was around. Oboro sensed it and handed Hizashi a coffee before resting a hand on his shoulder as he looked back at Shota. "Let's walk to school together." He offered.
Shota gave a curt nod and made his way to the door. Hizashi stumbled slightly as he made his way to it before him to hold it open. "Thank you. . " He murmured softly as he passed him by. Oboro let Hizashi walk out after the omega.
"Sorry I wasn't able to congratulate you after the match." Hizashi said as he sidled up beside him. The blond had been knocked out and carried off to Chiyo after their match.
Oboro went to Shota's other side, almost as if they were guarding him. Shota strangely felt safe but held back the purr that threatened to come out. "It's fine." He replied before shivering again as the breeze blew. He took a sip of the hot liquid and let out a soft groan of relief. "A-are you cold?" Oboro looked to the side at Shota.
"A little." He admitted softly. Oboro immediately removed his jacket and wrapped it around him. Shota's eyes widened, and he looked down at it, confused. "You didn't have -" he got cut off.
"I wanted to." He replied softly. The gesture gave Shota a warm, fluttery feeling in his tummy. He gripped his cup a bit tighter, but he relaxed when he took in the scent from earlier and some alpha musk that was left behind.
He pulled the jacket tighter around himself, and both the alphas noticed. The blond had been going on nonstop about Shota, and Oboro had admired him since before the festival. The omega was oblivious to their feelings, though, thinking they were just being nice.
