The Only Mother
Sylvia's POV (Up Above)
Vincent led me to Pirate's Cove where Foxy was. Finn loved Foxy. Just like the others enjoyed the other animatronics. Chelsea loved Chica, Fred loved Freddy, Gavin loved Golden Freddy, and Bryan loved Bonnie. A small smile came to my lips. I miss them. I just hope they're in a better place, and that that can forgive me for being a horrible mother. "And this is Foxy, though I don't think you'll be seeing him very much." Vincent said. The soft sound of breathing was heard and Vincent and Mike looked at the curtains with a little bit of fear evident on their features.
"Come on, let's get to the office." Mike said. I gave them a confused look, but nodded. They led me down a hallway with writes hanging down and flashing lights.
"Um, do children come down here?" I asked. I mean, if children come down here, they can get very hurt.
"No, we have someone that keeps the children from coming down here. You'll meet him tomorrow." Vincent said, but mumbled something else to quiet for me to hear.
"He goes by Phone Guy because he's the one who handles the phone. And his initials." Mike said, flashing a smile at me.
"Here we are." Vincent said. He looked at his watch. "And look at that. We're still one hour ahead of schedule. Well, this is where I leave you two."
"Bye boss." Mike said.
"Bye Vincent." I said. I sat down in one of the chairs and looked at the tablet on the desk. I picked it up and flip through the cameras as Mike sat in the chair next to me. All the cameras looked OK, except for the kitchen camera, in which only the audio worked. "What happened to the kitchen camera?" I asked, looking at Mike. He shrugged.
"It's been broken since I've been working here, and I've been working here a few weeks now. But this is one off those jobs that you want to get out of real quickly."
"Why?"
"Have you heard the stories of the five kids that went missing here? Well, people say that their spirits inhabited the animatronics, and now they're trying to kill every night guard as revenge. Those who survive usually quit after the first night and those who don't, well... they're stuffed into the empty animatronic suits. But those are just stories. Phone Guy says that the animatronics just thinks that the night guards are endoskeletons without suits, and because that's not allowed, the animatronics stuff then in the suits. Anyways, what do you think?" He asked, looking up at me. By now, tears were streaming down my face. "H-hey, are you OK?" I looked up at him.
"Why do you still work here?" I asked. He looked shocked.
"Um, well... I-I don't really know." He said, looking away. "I guess maybe because I feel sorry for the children. I mean, they were just kids. To have their life taken away from at such a young age... there's no telling what's going through their minds."
"And who do you think their mother feels!?" I said, tears streaming down my face into my lap. "How do you think she feels having her worlds taken away from her and she never even got a chance to say goodbye!? I mean, it's already bad enough that my heart's been broken before, but to have my children taken away from me! It's clear that their murder has no heart, but to hear that the police didn't even find their bodies!" By now, my head was already in my knees, and I was bawling my eyes out like a little baby. "I never even got to say goodbye." I mumbled.
"You were one of the mothers."
"I was the only mother." I said turning my head to him, still laying it on my knees.
"I-I... I'm... Sylvia, I am so sorry." He said. "I guess no one can really tell what you're going through right now. Is there anything I can do?"
"Well... there is one thing." He nodded. "Help me find out what happened to them. Please." I begged. He was silent for a moment.
"Alright."
