Chapter 7
Outfit up top
The next day, Her, Peter and Roman sat in class. She followed along with the teacher who was reading. Roman stared at Peter as he looked ahead before the sounds of a paper clinking on his desk. Kerrianne looked at Peter as he opened the piece of paper.
Can I watch?
The paper says as Kerrianne leaned over to read as the teacher called out Roman.
"Are we passing notes, Mr. Godfrey?" The teacher asked, making the students turn to look at him.
"Wouldn't dream of it ma'am." Roman 'innocent' voice called out before looking over at Peter catching Kerrianne's eye.
The night at the Homecoming dance comes back to him. The way he held her close to him, the small of her waist, staring into each other's eyes. The sweet smell of her engulfing him like a drug. How he wanted to take her in front of the whole class as Peter watched before Joining himself. Roman rearranged himself discreetly, making Kerrianne smile before class was over.
Kerrianne stood by her locker, switching books that she needed. Roman noticed they all were right around each other. He walked off as Peter avoided him before walking over to Kerrianne. He grabbed her hand just as she closed her locker door.
"You're coming to my house today." Peter says to the bunny.
"Why today's the full moon." Kerrianne whispers in his ear letting Peter drag her outside.
"I'm letting Roman see me turn." Peter said as they headed towards her car.
"Peter What?! Are you crazy?" Kerrianne gasped and screamed as she got in the car with the slam of her door.
"Hey, he wanted to see." Peter tells her.
"He wanted to see. Why? So, he can say nothing to see here, just a werewolf who's pretending to not be a werewolf." Starting the car.
"Like you haven't finally told me about you." Peter retorted.
Kerrianne looked at him with anger as she pulled fast out the parking lot with a full turn of her steering wheel.
"What do you want me to say? When you knew all along? Three" Kerrianne mocked Three when Peter had whispered in her ear.
"We spent most of the summer together, at least I could've got hey I'm a Bunny lagomorph." Peter looked at her.
"Oh, please Peter get over yourself. I don't owe you anything." Kerrianne fumed.
They finally made it to his place as they both got out. Lynda could hear them arguing outside which was surprising to her.
"We've only been friends for half a month, and you want me to spill all of my secrets." Kerrianne argued.
"I think some things need to be talked about." Peter argued back.
"Oh, like you and your soon to be Upir are at the top of the food chain, like if this was a food dilemma, you wouldn't eat me alive." Kerrianne sneered at him, making Peter take a deep breath not trying to get angrier than he already was.
Lynda coughed, catching their attention.
"What's going on?" Lynda questioned.
"Ask him." Kerrianne says sternly before she walks inside the house to sit down.
Lynda looked at Peter with curious eyes before Peter spilled the beans.
"He's coming where?!" Lynda yelled as they stood outside.
"I don't know. He asked me if he could." Peter says before heading inside to distract himself from his dumb idea.
"No, no. Look, simple questions have two possible answers." Lynda followed him inside.
"I meant to say no. But I opened up my mouth and something else came out." Peter sighs.
Kerrianne listens to them talk.
"Peter! We've discussed these people! What the hell-" Lynda cut off, throwing her arms in the air.
"Lynda, Him and Kerrianne are the only ones that know I didn't do it!" Peter stated.
"Of course, Kerrianne knows you didn't do it. That girl trusts you more than her kind should. But because he did?" Lynda reprimanded.
"I just... I have this feeling something very important is about to happen." Peter said, looking at the window to see if Roman was there yet.
"I get it. I get it, baby. I get it cause you never have a frien-
"No, it's not that I have Kerrianne, that's my friend." Peter interrupted. Kerrianne stared at him with soft eyes.
"It's deeper than that baby and you know it, same with Roman. Didn't you tell me that every time you three are together you feel a tug on your heart." Lynda continued.
Peter sat down sighing.
"Honey... Look at me okay. Look at me." Lynda says tilting Peter's head so he could look at her.
"I just hope those balls know what they're doing." Lynda says, making him nod before there was a knock on the door. Peter jumps out his seat, opening the door to see Roman.
"Hey." Roman said leaning on the door opening.
"Hey come in." Peter spoke, letting him in.
Kerrianne avoided looking at Roman.
"Roman, this is Lynda, my mom. Lynda, this is Roman. And you know Kerrianne." Peter pointed to Kerrianne as Lynda ignored him by cooking.
"She knows too." Roman pointed out.
"She's something different." Peter says.
"Something different?" Roman questions looking at Kerrianne.
"Definitely not a witch." Kerrianne said.
It was an uncomfortable silence before Roman saw the shrine of Nikolae.
"Are you Hindu or something?" Roman questioned Peter as he looked at the shrine for Peter's grandfather.
"The photo's my grandfather, and the statue is Ganesh. That's the god of new beginnings but I don't think Nicolae ever actually knew that, huh?" Peter replied to Roman as they walked further into the living room.
"He used to call him Jumbo and ask if what he had between his legs was anything like what he had on his nose. He was a real class act." Peter continued and Lynda finally moved to the living with milk and cups.
"Sit." Lynda gestured to Roman who walked over to the couch as Kerrianne moved over to let him sit down. Their legs are touching slightly. Kerrianne caught it, as she moved her leg. Roman wanted to put her leg back by his. Roman could tell she didn't like that Peter was revealing himself to him, but he wanted to know what she was. He would soon find that out also.
"Oh." Roman says sitting down.
"Milk?" Lynda asked him.
"Sure." Roman replied, making Lynda pour him some milk before she looked over at Kerrianne.
"Kerrianne sweetie, milk?" Lynda gestured to the milk.
"No ma'am." Kerrianne said looking at poor Peter who couldn't stop shaking.
"Honey?" Lynda asked Peter.
"Lactic Acid." Peter mummered.
"Oh. Right, right, right. It does funny things to the tummy. So, meeting a second friend of Peter's. Kerrianne being the first. Hopefully you're a very good friend. What are your plans after graduation? I know that Kerrianne is going to do online college due to some circumstances." Lynda says before giving Kerrianne a comforting sweet smile.
Kerrianne smiled a tight smile as Roman looked at her before looking back at Lynda.
"I guess my mom will bride my way into somewhere decent." Roman stated making Lynda nod.
"I see. That's nice." Lynda says before leaning over to stop Peter's leg from shaking.
"He gets nerves beforehand. Hormones." Lynda said before leaning back.
"I have a tranquilizer." Roman suggested.
"No." Peter mumbles.
"Yes, just a little to wet my whistle." Lynda stated as Roman took the pills out his coat pocket opening the tin to give her one.
"Thank you." Lynda spoke before taking the pill. Roman looked at Kerrianne to see if she wanted one but she shook her head no. Roman put the tin back in his coat looking back at Peter.
Peter felt like he was going crazy. His wolf wanted to get out. His Upir and his bunny together. His wolf was upset over the argument between him and Kerrianne. Kerrianne was right, if it was a different setting his wolf would eat her without a doubt. They're connected. She knows it and he know it too. Since Roman didn't come into his full powers yet. Roman could only feel a pulse not a full heartbeat. He pulled off his rings and any other jewelry after Lynda stopped his leg from shaking.
"Does it hurt?" Roman questioned him.
"You wouldn't notice if a bus hit you." Peter replied with a sarcastic smile.
"Are you still... you? Roman continued to question.
"He's a good boy. My honey bun." Lynda smiles as she touches his hand. Kerrianne watched with kind eyes, catching Peter's eyes as she smiled tight at him. Peter could see she was still mad at him, and he hated it. He would hope she would forgive him.
They walked outside as the sun started to dim for the moon to show. Peter starts to get undressed before they watch him spit in his hand before slicking his hair back with it. Kerrianne saw Roman stare at the g on Peter's side. She had heard the story and Nicolae and what happened to him.
"What's the G stand for?" Roman asked peter.
"Go suck an egg." Peter sarcastically says with a smile.
"Are we safe?" Roman questions.
"We should, but Kerrianne honey, you see something wrong to jump on the roof." Lynda says. Kerrianne nodded, noting why. Peter's a werewolf. At the town school, they say Bunnies are prey to any type of supernatural. But to be their mates is a whole nother ball game. During the full moon, especially a sacred moon, it was the highest point a bunny's pheromones could go.
"Why?" Roman question looking at Kerrianne that didn't answer him just staring ahead.
"Ah, darn." Roman jokes.
"What?" Peter and Lynda say it at the same time. Kerrianne looked at Roman to see what he was talking about now.
"I forgot to bring a frisbee." Roman smiles finishing the joke making Kerrianne snort, hiding her laughter but they could see her shoulders shaking. Roman felt accomplished at that. That was the first reaction he got out of her since he been there. Peter shoots him the bird.
"Don't Joke." Lynda smiles.
Peter's transformation finally set in. as horrifying it was, it was beautiful. Kerrianne looked on with amazed yet cautious eyes as he turned. The way his wolf paws set in and the snout coming from his face, pushing out teeth replacing them with those of a wolf. Truly it was something amazing. His wolf was black with amber eyes, his wolf happy to get out as he ate the flesh of his person before he smelt his mate. Kerrianne didn't know what happened before she was yelled at by Lynda to hop on to the trailer's roof. His wolf was happy as his paws landed on the side of the trailer, scaring her to her true self. And boy was Roman appalled.
Lynda and Roman backed away as she turned to her form. The long back rabbit ears from the top of her head and the way her eyes turn full red, iris and all. Her puff of a tail showed, breaking out her skirt.
Peter had to get his wolf under control, but she smelled so good. Everything smelled good but he could tell his wolf favorite was the smell between her legs. He felt he was in paradise before he finally got his wolf to back down, before running off as they watched.
"Kerrianne, honey is you okay?" Lynda questioned.
All they saw was two full red eyes looking at them.
"You got to be fucking kidding me?!" Roman says, staring at the pretty bunny girl, who looked down at them adorably.
