Chapter 15

                                                                                  outfit up top

Now changed into different clothes, Kerrianne walked the Godfrey boy room. She looked around his room. She came by closed bottles of cocaine. They were filled to the top, like he stopped doing it. She came across a picture of him with Olivia, that was face down on the dresser.

Roman who also changed stood watching her. She wore a skirt; he liked it when she wore skirts. He walked near her back hugging her. He kissed her neck as they stared into the mirror.

"You know he lied to us, right?" Roman pointed out.

"Yes, I do." Kerrianne's crawled up to touch his fluffy hair.

"The more Peter spends with Lethia, our bond is getting dimmer. I know he can feel it." she added while they stared at each other in the mirror.

"What about ours? Did it get stronger?" Roman wondered to the girl in his arms.

"It's getting stronger. Soon we'll be connected." Kerrianne smiled before turning towards him.

"So, I'll be connected to you?" He asked.

"Anything you feel, I will too." Kerrianne clarified.

"So, if I would- Roman started growing a smirk making Kerrianne slap his chest.

"You asshole." Kerrianne says laughing.

"Hey, I just wanted to know, but can you?" Roman smiled and laughed.

"Yes." She mumbled before laying down in his bed.

Roman followed, sitting down following how her skirt moved up.

"What? I can't hear you." Roman voiced.

"Yes." Kerrianne basically says.

Roman rubs her thigh as they sit in silence, he was starting to like this supernatural world. A pretty girl that was his bunny shifter and a grumpy wolf for a mate. But he hoped that the grumpy wolf wouldn't mess up with her. They heard the door opening, He pulled her up as they started to walk downstairs.

Her and Roman saw it was his mother with his uncle. Olivia sat in a chair where it seemed like their hands were briefly touching.

"Hey." Roman said while Kerrianne stood behind him.

"Hey. Um... your mom fainted at the library." Norman greeted as he pointed to Olivia.

"Are you alright? Why didn't you call me?" Roman voiced.

"I'm...very tired." Olivia said as she walked towards them as she started to walk up the stairs. Kerrianne and Olivia shared a brief nod.

"Uh... be a dear and run your uncle back to wherever, would you?" Olivia stated before leaving their sights.

"I guess that's my que. I'll see you later at Peter's." Kerrianne told Roman.

"Okay see you later." Roman said as she softly kissed his cheek, walking down the stairs, nodding to Norman before leaving out the door.

Kerrianne made it to her car before getting in and going home. She changed her clothes again before going to eat something. She brushed her teeth before going to Peter's house. Kerrianne had just pulled up when she saw Roman, Peter and Lethia. Peter and Roman turn to her car that is parked behind Roman's. She got out, walking to them.

"Rome, Peter and Lethia, what are you doing here?" Kerrianne says. Roman could feel the annoyance and jealousy of his bunny. She didn't like his cousin at all because of Peter.

"Uh... I was just dropping Peter off. We had frozen yogurt." Lethia said as she stared at Kerrianne. Peter now looked awkward.

"Oh yeah they met in town." Roman sarcastically commented with a smile.

"So, how's Lynda? I thought the water heater was broken. Is it fix?" Kerrianne questioned Peter, making Lethia turn her head to Peter.

"She's good. It was a quick fix." Peter answered.

"Hm." Kerrianne hums.

Lethia felt awkward in the silence before finally announcing that she was leaving before getting in the car saying goodbye before leaving.

"It was just a ride home." Peter stammered.

"Peter, I wouldn't care if it was a ride home. But you lied to us about it." Kerrianne looked disappointed at Peter.

"..." Peter didn't know what to say. His bunny had caught him in a lie.

"Let's just finish this. I'm getting a headache." Kerrianne said, walking ahead of them.

"She's so mad at you." Roman call out by Peter.

"Yeah." Peter looked down.

"You got a flashlight." Roman asked Peter before they both made their way down the steps to his house.

Time Skip brought to you by Kerrianne's bunny form.

They piled into Roman's car before he drove to the old steel mill. Kerrianne laid her head on Roman's shoulder to fall asleep. Peter watches the girl sleep on Roman, as he smokes.

"How's she feeling right now?" Peter asked Roman as he stared at Kerrianne.

Roman gave her a quick look before continuing driving.

"She's relaxing, dreaming sheeps and marshmallows." Roman jokes as Peter handed him the lit smoke.

"She's fine. Upset but she's happy." Roman added.

"So how do you feel about us in this mating bond?" Peter questioned.

"For her, it's fine. I know right now you are hanged up on my cousin but sooner or later you're going to have to work double time to bring your bond back up." Roman shared.

"Can you feel it?" Peter implied.

"No, but Kerrianne told me your side of the bond is dimming. She also said ours had been getting stronger by the minute." Roman mentioned.

"Great." Peter sarcastically drawled.

They finally made it to the steel mill, waking up Kerrianne who started stretching.

"Slept well." Peter wondered.

"Yeah." Kerrianne mumbled before following them out the car.

They walked inside the mill, looking around as they cut on their flashlights. Looking around the water flooded steel mill. Kerrianne tried not to get her shoes dirty. They split up; Kerrianne had gone with Peter.

"Sorry I had lied to you" Peter apologized.

"I'm not mad. It's just you're falling for Lethia and I'm hurting. I can barely feel your side of the bond. The more time you spend with her instead of me, getting to know her, sooner or later you're going to fall in love with her and I don't want to feel like I have to compete with a pregnant girl." Kerrianne sighed.

Peter was quiet, He knew she was right. He was falling for Lethia, no matter how much him and his wolf tells him that his mate is right in front of him. There was something about Lethia that made him feel normal. Maybe it was how caring she was or how pretty she was.

"I'll do better." Peter said.

Kerrianne stared at him before nodding and hugging him before they walked over to Roman. They all continued searching before they started smelling something foul. Kerrianne had back up, her sensitive nose killing her. She watched the boys walk inside before they finally saw the source of the smell.

The bottom half of Lisa Willoughby

"What the fuck is that?" Roman questioned.

"It's...It's Lisa Willoughby." Peter said as They stared at the bottom half of Lisa, which was being eaten to the bone by rats.

"I'd like to go." Roman stated before they walked back to Kerrianne, who waited for them.

"Was it her." Kerrianne mumbled.

"Roman nodded as Kerrianne let out a soft breath. That was a sad way to go out.

"Poor Lisa." Kerrianne thought. As she silently prayed to her ancestors to make sure Lisa rest in peace.

"Who the fuck comes here?" Peter asked Roman.

"I don't know." Roman replied as he and Kerrianne shared a knowing look. It's to tell him the assumption. Peter caught the look.

"What?" Peter wondered.

"Kerrianne had a suspect in mind." Roman says.

"Okay who?" Peter appealed.

"Christina Wendell." Kerrianne stared at Peter who stared at the both of them in disbelief.

"There's no way." Peter expressed.

"I'm telling you something is real off about that girl. She wants to be a writer for god's sake. She probably has been watching you since you got in town. The girl gives off those stalking vibes. And what one of the ways to be a werewolf. What wouldn't she do? for a 'good story'. " Kerrianne explained as Peter thought about it.

Peter couldn't believe it. He didn't want to. He knew one of the ways to be a wolf. Drink from the werewolf paw on the night of the full moon, but he would've smelled her. Sometimes she had spent time with him during the summer when Kerrianne wasn't over. He thought she was a weird but sweet girl.

"We're going to have to watch her. I still don't think it's her." Peter spoke, making Kerrianne roll her eyes.

"Fine. We'll watch her but if she is we kill her before she goes on a killing spree." Kerrianne said to him.

"Okay." Peter nods.

"Okay." Kerrianne nods back as they come to an understanding.

"Should we call someone?" Roman stares at the two.

"Tell them what?" Peter asked sarcastically.

"I dunno." Roman replied.

"How about we get the fuck out of here? The police are outside, and your car is the brightest attraction." Kerrianne gathered.

"Shit!" Peter says.

"I'll deal with it." Roman said as they now could hear two deputies walking towards the place.

"Just do it. Okay." Peter pleaded.

Kerrianne stared at the boys as they both talked about Lethia and Peter's situation. She was starting to feel annoyed as she felt something scream at her.

                                                                      "Kill her"

Kerrianne grabs her head as the screaming gets louder.

"I will not be second place."

"Our mates are fighting over some human girl."

                                                         "Kill her. Set them free."

Peter was the one that spotted her, going over to her as she passed out. Peter cried out her name as he tried to get her to wake up. They could still hear the two deputies as Roman and Peter finally looked up at the door. Roman threw his keys to Peter and told him to go out around the back. Roman went to meet the deputies who handcuffed him and took him to jail but not before he assaulted them first. When they were done, Peter went to the car while holding Kerrianne bridal style. He put her in the passenger side before getting in the car taking her to Destiny's place.

He got her out of the car and walked to Destiny's apartment. Destiny opened the door as if she knew what was happening.

"Put her on the couch." Destiny yelled as she rushed to get some things.

"What's going on Destiny?" Peter hissed.

"It's starting. It's too early. What did ya'll do to awake her?" Destiny exclaimed.

"Awake her? What do you mean awake?" Peter questioned as he watched Destiny work as she put different things to together.

"Oh Peter." Destiny had this look on her face.

"What?" Peter asked.

"The Bunny Queen will be live again."

Destiny said in a monotone voice as she tried to follow instructions to hold her awakening off.
