Once she got home, she put on some music. Frank Ocean "Pyramids' played throughout the house as she went to take a shower. She took off each article of clothing as she stepped into the steaming water. She didn't know what Destiny meant by "To start a new course". Did it have to do with her dream of sitting on a throne?

She scrubbed her body clean and shaven. She got out wrapping a towel around her body, before walking into her room. She dried her body off, putting her lotion that almost made her skin glow and sprayed fragrance mist on her body. She pulled on the bra and panty set before wrapping herself in a robe. She went downstairs to eat something. By the time she was done, she brushed her teeth.

She did her hair, turning her usual straightened hair into a bed of beautiful curls. Her makeup was simple but classic before she put her dress on. She wraps her golden neck with gold where it belongs and fingers and ears. The only time she usually got dressed up was when they had town affairs and their many dances.

She put on black heels before her signature perfume. Once she was finished, she grabbed her clutch before leaving her house.

Time skip:

Kerrianne made it towards the white tower. She pulled into the valet area, seeping out the car as the wind blew into her hair softly. She walked over to the Valet giving him her keys before she walked inside. Anyone that she passed stared at her before she made it inside the building. Olivia who had just got done saying hello to Lethia and Roman smelled her scent. She smelled just like Harriet. She stared at Kerrianne as she walked over to the bar.

Roman saw her just as she walked up.

"Kerrianne." Roman spoke.

"Hello Rome." Kerrianne said with a smile.

"You look beautiful." Roman express.

"Thank you." Kerrianne says before looking at the barman.

"Can I get lemon water?" Kerrianne asked the barman who stopped his staring before nodding.

"Kerrianne, I didn't know you were going to be here." Lethia's soft tone voice said.

"Just networking." She plainly said not wanting to tell her anything.

For Lethia to be sweet, Kerrianne didn't like she had Roman and now Peter in her web. Even if she was a bunny, she was a black bunny, and they were very possessive of their mates. Even if her mates were too blind to see it.

"Oh." Lethia said.

Johann who walks up next to Kerrianne. From behind she looked just like Harriet.

"Hello." Johann said as Kerrianne turned her head towards him. He almost gasped at the resemblance she also had of Harriet. The barman sits her drink in front of her, whispering thank you.

"Hello." Kerrianne said back, taking a slip of her drink.

"I'm Johann, one of the top researchers here at the Godfreys". Johann said with his thin smile.

"Kerrianne Hopper." Kerrianne answered back.

"Harriet and Chase Hopper's daughter." Johann says.

"Yes, how do you know?" Kerrianne asked.

"Me and your parents were very close to each other when they worked here." Johann replied.

"Interesting, I would've never thought they work in a lab before. My parents were the mayor back home." She states getting an almost sad look on her face.

"I've heard about that. I'm sorry for your loss." Johann's voice sympathized with her.

"Thank you." Kerrianne uttered.

"There were shares in their name in the company. Would you like to keep them or give them away?" Johann asked, wanting to see what the daughter would do. Chase and Harriet Hopper were big parts of the white tower.

"I like to keep them. If my parents had a passion for this, I want to keep their memory alive." Kerrianne said. Johann nodded understanding; he liked this girl. She had a level head on her shoulders and not to forget to have Bunny shifter blood on tap. Olivia had just run out of Harriet's blood.

On the side of them, Roman stared at Kerrianne as she talked with Johann. Roman was slowly becoming possessive of her and her emotions weren't helping either. Her emotions ranged from sad to happy to jealousy. He didn't know why she would be jealous when he was secretly falling for her and Lethia's was just his cousin and that's it. He started rubbing Lethia's shoulders as he spoke to her.

"You always knew how to find the right spot." Lethia said as she relished in the massage Roman was giving her.

Kerrianne's heightened hearing could hear them. She sides eyed them, almost shocking herself as she saw that Roman was staring at her. He was really doing this on purpose. How dare he.

She took a sip of her water. Johann could also see her staring at Roman as he stared at her.

"He already sunk his claws into her already." Johann thought.

"I don't know if you have given it much thought, but you should have your baby here, at the institute." Roman says while rubbing her shoulders.

Kerrianne was kind of shocked. She didn't know that Lethia was pregnant. She didn't seem like the type but who cares. It's good she always stayed to herself. Johann signaled for another Cola.

"I didn't know they handled that sort of thing here." Lethia responded.

"I hear they're opening an obstetrics unit. They have the best doctors in the world.

Even better, you'd be close to home. Yeah?" Roman said as Lethia started agreeing with him. Kerrianne finished her drink before walking away. She heard Lethia say something before she threw up, which caused a whole commotion.

Kerrianne watched the scene in disgust as she watched two people who might've been Lethia's parents have an argument as Roman gave her his jacket before her mother took her home. Roman looked around to see if he could find Kerrianne, ignoring the young wife that tried to get his attention. Once he saw her, he walked over as his mother got ready to do her speech.

"Your emotions are driving me crazy right now." Roman whispered to her, making her eyes go wide. He could feel her emotions because of the blood he had consumed that day. He had halfway completed the bond.

"Let's not talk about this right." Kerrianne whispered back.

"Do you know why? Is it a bunny thing?" Roman whispered as his mom started speaking, her eyes catching his, happy he's still in the room.

"It's very complicated. That's all I can tell you right now." Kerrianne says. She could feel Roman's arm circling around her. Even with heels he was still taller than her, he pulled her close to him as his hand almost covered her stomach.

"Why won't you just tell me? I don't like secrets." Roman whispers to her staring into her side view.

"Just trust me." Kerrianne said.

Olivia continued talking while watching the two making Norman look back.

"Harriet" Norman whispers.

He knew those eyes and that nose anywhere. Harriet Hopper was a beautiful woman. She was kind, modest and caring but on her bad side she was a force to be reckoned with.

It wasn't until the guy Dale came in making a fuss. Roman left her side with a lingering touch. Him and Norman stopped him from embarrassing himself even more as waited for the security to get him out. The program finally showed Roman 's face as the next Ceo. Everyone clapped, making Roman nod almost relishing in the applause.

He walked back over to Kerrianne who clapped for him before he grabbed her hand. He pulled her out as the eyes followed him. Johann and Olivia along with Norman eyed them. Olivia finally got the most brilliant idea. Kerrianne could bond with Roman once he turned. Johann stared at Olivia before looking back at the two before the door shut blocking their view of the couple. Roman pulled her towards his car.

"Hey roman, I can't leave my car here." Kerrianne says as she desperately needed to get to her car.

Roman took his keys from one of the Valet guys before looking him in the eyes using his powers.

"Take the black car to my house." Roman demanded before opening his car door motioning Kerrianne to get in before shutting the door. He walked to his side getting in. Roman drove off to his place. Kerrianne watched him from my side.

"We're not there anymore. So do you want to tell me why I can fill your emotions." Roman questions.

"From my blood. It sometimes has different properties for different species. This is most common between mates." Kerrianne explained making Roman stop the car. She had to stop herself from getting hurt.

"I'm your mate." Roman says.

"In a way yeah." Kerrianne nervously says twiddling with her fingers.

"I thought it had to do with only supernatural species." Roman said, staring at her.

"It can be humans too and other species of the supernatural." Kerrianne explained to him.

Roman stared at her before kissing her. Rome could only feel a faint beat/pulsing sound, but Kerrianne could feel everything. It felt like her skin was on fire. His hands made way to her face as he pressed several kisses to her lips. But now he had to share with Peter, who was kind of getting too close to his cousin. He didn't care anymore; his bunny was his now. Once he stopped Kerrianne eyes were shut still as she heaved trying to catch her breath from such a hot kiss.

Kerrianne finally opened her eyes.

"I don't like sharing but with Peter I can. You're mine." Roman states before driving to the Godfrey mansion.

Kerrianne stared in shock before moving her hand to his as he held her hand softly while he drove. Once there, he got out, going to her side and opening the door.

"Milady." Roman says, helping her out the car.

"Thank you." She said softly.

They walked inside, going upstairs to his room but not before saying hi to Shelley who was so happy to see her. She kissed Shelley's cheeks before Roman got jealous, saying goodbye to Shelley. He gave her an old shirt and shorts before he let take her a shower. After he took a shower, they cuddled up on his bed before going to sleep.
