Chapter 11

                                                                                   Outfit up top

Kerrianne got up and walked over to the bathroom. Her bonnet had slipped off while she slept, she cut on the light. The bright light almost blinded her. She looked at her hair wondering if she wanted a change. This new town Hemlock Grove was a nice touch. Kerrianne washed her face as she thought about last night. Roman's Upir powers are almost there. He drank his mate's blood; he would soon feel what she felt on a daily basis. She brushed her hair, using her anti-frizz serum and heat protectant to protect her hair. After she was done, she clamped her hair up, before going to take a shower.

Time Skip:

Her straightened hair swayed as she walked down the stairs. She had to do makeup work yesterday. She saw Peter, acted like he was a juggler at the circus. Shelley saw her coming still laughing as Kerrianne held her finger to her pouty lips. Shelley laughs while nodding before Kerrianne wraps her arms around her mate. The oranges fell as Peter touched her arms.

"Dragul Meu." Kerrianne whispers, her soft lips softly touching his ear. (My Love)

"Prietenul Meu". Peter says with a smile on his face as he smells her scent. (My Mate)

"How are you?" Kerrianne says as she walks around him.

"Better now that you're here." Peter smiles as he looks at her.

Roman and his cousin Lethia walked over to the three. He watched the two make goo goo eyes at each other.

"Terrible. Have any other tricks?" Roman questions as he eyed the two.

"Not with the Ladies present." Peter replies.

"I wouldn't mind, surely Peter." Kerrianne says.

Lethia stared at the girl oozing confidence.

"Did he know her?" she thought.

"I guess I'll have to have you over later." Peter smirked lightly.

Roman felt this unknown sensation as she smiled at Peter. He didn't know what it was.

"I'll like that." Kerrianne smiled.

Shelley smiled at the two. She knew they were close, but it seemed like they were flirting with each other.

'Ahem." Roman coughed before continuing.

"Have you met my cousin Lethia?" Roman asked the two.

"Oh, the girl that was at the homecoming right." Kerrianne says with a soft smile.

"Hi you're the witch, right?" Lethia said with a fake smile.

"That's what people say." Kerrianne's smile almost came off her face.

"Hm." Lethia said.

Peter looks to Kerrianne before finally cutting in.

"No, I haven't met your cousin. Peter." Peter greeted Lethia, holding out his hand.

"Hey." Lethia greeted with a small smile while holding her backpack's handles.

"If the circus is over, Let's get going." Roman said.

"I'll see you later, Peter." Kerrianne whispered. Peter nodding, Lethia watched the two.

"Bye Shelley." Kerrianne waved before walking off to her car.

Peter stared at the bunny before catching the eyes of Lethia, who smiled at him before they both got in the car.

Time Skip:

She made her way home only stopping to buy her something to eat. She ate her fries while she drove home. She didn't like the way Lethia stared at Peter, she had heard that she had a wet dream on the bus from someone in her class. She was very jealous. She made it into her gated community not knowing of the two people outside her door. Dr. Chasseur and Tom Sworn waited for the bunny shifter to come home.

"How can you expect this girl to know about the cases?" Tom Sworn says as they sit in the truck.

"Well Christina mentioned her, we already questioned Peter." Dr. Chasseur calmly said.

"You asked him if he was a werewolf." Tom Sworn pointed out to her.

"It's just a question, nothing like that exists." Dr. Chasseur said to him. Clementine knew that they do exist and that one of them most definitely did this. The more she's finding out, the more it's painting towards it.

They watched the teenager drive into her driveway. They both got out of the car to reach the teen before she got inside.

"Excuse me." Tom said, making Kerrianne stop with her bag of food and belongings in hand.

Kerrianne stared at the two before looking at their car. They really had to come today. She had a lot of makeup work.

"Hi, can I help you?" Kerrianne questioned.

"Sheriff Tom Sworn and This is Dr.Chasseur." Tom replies before pointing to the pretty brown skinned girl. But what Kerrianne liked about her was her bright green eyes that kind of scared her a little.

"Umm let me place this down. Would you like to come inside?" Kerrianne wondered before putting her key into the lock, going inside.

"Sure." Tom Sworn hesitated before him and Dr. Chasseur headed inside.

The house was amazing. Her parents must come from money, Many Pictures of the girl with her parents. The house was a two-story house. There was a family portrait over the fireplace that looked like it was painted. The Mother and daughter were sitting down while the father's arms circled around them. They had smiles on their faces.

"Perfect family." Dr,Chasseur says pointing to the portrait on top of the fireplace.

"Yes, that was our last time together." Kerrianne said with a sad smile on her face as she too stared at the portrait. Both Tom and Dr. Chasseur looked at each other before back at her.

"Sorry for your loss." Dr.Chasseur stated sadly.

"Thank you." She whispers.

"We wanted to know about the murders." Tom Sworn said.

"The two girls, right?" Kerrianne asked.

"Yes, do you know anything about that?" Dr.Chasseur probed.

"No, I don't. I just moved here. I stayed to myself." Kerrianne informed them.

"But you know Peter Rumanneck, right?" Dr.Chassuer questioned staring at her with her creepy green eyes.

"Sure, on an acquaintance level." Kerrianne vaguely says.

"So, you didn't spend the summer with him." Dr.Chasseur still probed.

"It was only for 2 days, I met him in town one day." She said to them.

"Do you think he's a werewolf?" Dr. Chasseur asked.

Kerrianne tried not to laugh at Tom to silently scoff at the question again.

"No ma'am, he's not. Where did that come from?" Kerrianne says.

"Do you know Christina Wendell? Tom Sworn finally asked.

"How could I not? She and her little friends told everyone I was a witch that I kill people with my blood. How could I not know that mousy little girl." Kerrianne replies, causing Tom to get angry.

"That's my daughter's friend you're talking about." Tom seethed.

"My apologies disrespectfully, but I'm here to finish my senior year is not looked at as some type of zoo animal. Because of that girl I can't make any friends except Peter. "Kerrianne said with anger in her tone.

Dr.Chassuer stared at her. Poor girl, back at square one.

"Thank you for stopping by. I hope you have an amazing day. Please don't come back" Kerrianne said as she walked over to the door, opening it to let them out. For a sheriff, Tom Sworn was an idiot. She didn't care if he was a single father or not. His kids are horrible. Kerrianne ate before rushing to change her clothes. She was leaving to see Peter.

Somewhere else, Olivia and Johann walked the white tower for Shelley's checkup.

"Have you been sleeping?" Johann asked the tall woman next to him, dressed in white.

"Why do you ask?" She questioned him.

"You look..." John stopped himself from finishing.

"I would think very carefully on how you choose to finish that sentence." The woman warned.

"How's Norman holding up? Johann changed the subject.

Olivia started laughing at Johann. Johann nevered cared for Norman.

"What a remarkable imitation of empathy! Have we been practicing? Olivia teased him.

"I bear him no ill will, and the hatred he feels for me has the whiff of something stale and self-annihilating. As a superior thinker to myself once wrote, men cling to their hates because they fear once their hates are gone, they'll have to deal with their own self-pain." Johann says as he picks up papers.

Olivia whispers a saying in Russian before following him.

"And men dig, gouge each other out because you both imagine one with strike oil while the other drowns in his own blood." Olivia says.

"Have thought of calling Harriet and Chase Hopper about their shares? Norman's shares?" Johann questioned.

"Roman told me that he met their daughter. Harriet and Chase died in a car accident." Olivia sadly says. Olivia was very close to Harriet. She was the second person she could tolerate after Norman of course. She had secretly made a bond with Harriet to sustain herself.

"Harriet and Chase died." Johann didn't want to believe it. They gave him the respect he wished the Godfrey's gave him and now he's stuck with these wolves in sheep's clothing and a repulsive momma's boy for a future Ceo.

"Have you met the daughter?" Johann continued.

"Maybe she can come to our 20th anniversary?" Johann continued again, throwing more questions at Olivia.

"No, I never met the girl. But she's close with that Gypsy boy and Roman only spoke about her a few times. I'll tell Roman. And with Norman it's not the right time." Olivia answers as she walks with Johann to Shelley.

Time skip:           (Kerrianne's out reference with black platforms and a black coat)

By the time Kerrianne reached the house, Peter was walking out. He quickly got in the car and told her to drive.

"We are really about to do this." Kerrianne says happy she had on boots.

"It's the only way we can find out about the Vargulf." Peter said as he dropped the bag to the floor.

"Just know I'm not digging." Kerrianne pointed out, making Peter laugh.

"Okay, it will be just me and Roman then." Peter said to her.

Kerrianne moved her car one stop away from the Cemetery. She and Peter waited for Roman, sharing a cigarette.

They could finally see Roman walk towards them dressed in all black.

"Did you actually dress up as a grave robber?" Peter teased.

"No, He dressed up like you." Kerrianne teased back as smoke came out her nose before walking towards Lisa's grave.

"See she gets me. Why isn't she dressed like a grave robber? "Roman pointed out.

"Because I'm just here to watch. I brought popcorn. Want some?" Kerrianne pulled a bag of popcorn out her coat continuing her way.

"She's so hot" Roman hit Peter as they watched her walk away.

Peter hums before they follow her.

"Did you know that people used to believe the dead came back as bloodthirsty revenants because the bloating of internal organs made them, like...like, belch up fluids from inside the lungs." Roman says as he and Peter walk over to the grave.

"Huh." Peter hums.

"They're coming to get you, Barbara." Roman sings making Peter stop by a headstone.

"They're coming to get you, Barbara!" Roman sings teasingly.

"Honey, Come on. Ain't nobody got all day." Kerrianne yells to the boys, tossing the cigarette away from her. The boys felt a shiver-like sensation go down their backs.

"Is there like a summer school for serial killers?" Peter said, laughing tossing his cigarette. The boys finally made it over to the newly buried ground of Lisa Willoughby.

"Shee-it."

"Shee-it"

The boys said at the same time before looking at their mate who already started eating her popcorn.

"Come on, don't just stand there, hop to it. Pun not intended." Kerrianne says sitting on the ground almost making the boys laugh as they started digging.

Kerrianne stuff her face with popcorn as the boys talk about things. Occasionally the boys would look over at her as she almost finished her bag of popcorn. Roman tried to take some, making her lean back, side eyeing him. The boys finally hit her coffin and Peter opened the bottom which showed sandbags.

"Where is she?" Roman asked Peter. Peter lifts up the top of the coffin to show Lisa Willoughby's top half.

Kerrianne now sat on the side of the grave watching them, her bag of popcorn finished. She watched with a hard stomach as Peter said a Romani prayer before cutting into Lisa. As he pulled what he needed, Kerrianne turned her head trying not to throw up her popcorn. Peter told Roman to get the jar from his bag, as he pulled the intestine from Lisa's body. He put it into the jar before closing the latch. Kerrianne heard a car pulled up quickly changing into a bunny hopping away as Roman duck down to not be seen.

"Someone's here, Someone's here, Someone's here, Someone's here." Roman scaredly says. Peter rolled his eyes before shoving the jar in the bag.

"Damn it. Is Kerrianne up there?" Peter questioned.

"No, she's not." Roman replied.

"She must've left already." Peter said as they tried to be discreet getting out of the grave, running off before whoever it was could see them.

"The two hop the gate going Roman's car before leaving. They met Kerrianne around the corner, who wanted to see if they made it out.

"Do you have it?" Kerrianne asked.

"It's done." Peter shook his bag.

"Well see you tomorrow at school." Kerrianne stated before waving and driving off.
