As Bulma, Ava, Goku and a new addition to their group, Oolong, travelled down a river on Bulma's boat, Ava were humming. Nothing special, just sounds that brought joy to her ears. Not even 10 seconds later, Oolong made moves towards Bulma.

"I can see why you decided to bring me along. You got the hots for me, don't you?"

He said, with a smug on his face.

"Please. The only reason why I brought you with us, is that your transformation magic could come in handy, that's all."

Bulma replied, rolling her eyes at the comment that he made towards her.

"What?! You're saying I'm not your type?!"

Oolong cried out.

"Hell no. I'm looking for tall, dark hair and handsome. And changing into one won't grab my attention. You don't even last long."

Bulma said.

"Oh baby, give it time. You'll see that I'm all the man you need."

Oolong said, laying backwards.

Unfortunately he was sat next to Goku, who tapped where the privates was. Oolong shrieked in surprise and grew angry at the boy. He shrieked at him,

"Hey, boy! What the hell are you playing at here?!"

"You're right, Oolong. You're a man."

Goku said innocently.

"Of course I'm a man! What kind of sick boy would do that to someone, just to find out about their gender! In the future, take a blood sample, I'll give you my own damn birth-certificate, anything just don't you ever, ever, ever touch my parts again! Idiot!"

Oolong shouted on top of his lungs. That's when Ava, who was sitting next to Bulma, stopped humming and turn around to face Oolong,

"Oolong, can you please be quiet? I'm sorry for Goku's behaviour but he can't tell genders like I can. Please remain silent."

Oolong was about to say something but he quickly decided to keep his mouth shut. Ava thanked him and turned facing forward, continuing to hum.

Halfway on their water journey, Goku asked Bulma,

"We've been on this boat forever. How much longer is it, Bulma?"

Ava got the map from Bulma's bag and gave it to her friend, who thanked her in return.

"Hmm, let's see. Not far now, Goku. If we keep going down this river, we might reach Fire Mountain by the end of the day. But it would take us longer if we walked."

She replied, passing the map back to Ava.

"What?! Fire Mountain?! You're not taking me anywhere near that godforsaken place!"

Oolong cried out in fear.

"Why'd you say that for, Oolong? Are you afraid of a mountain?"

Ava asked.

"Listen to me, little girl. Fire mountain is called that because the mountain is actually on fire and that's not the reason I don't wanna go. It's also the home of the Ox King, the meanest man you'll ever see in your lives."

Oolong explained, sweat rolling down his face.

"That bad, huh? Well then, if he gives any of us trouble, then me and Goku can take him out. Won't we?"

Ava said then asked her brother, who then replied,

"Yeah. I wonder if he's strong."

"How you two been living under a rock?! The Ox King's the strongest man in the world! He's over ten feet tall and weighs 500 pounds! He's always carrying a huge battle axe and boy let me tell you! That axe can cut down mountains by one swing and he's always on the lookout for anyone who dares to break in his castle! So if you ever see him, just run for your lives! Because if he catches you, you're dead!"

Oolong further explained, while his face turned red. That's when their other female companion says,

"Oolong, just relax. We're not scared of some old Ox King and his giant battle axe. Goku and Ava won't break a sweat when taking him on."

"Oh yeah? I'm not sticking around just because you think that these diaper babies can take down the Ox King. Adios!"

Oolong said and transformed into a fish. He then tried to go in the water but was caught by Ava's tight grip and she held him there.

"Sorry, Oolong. But you're gonna have to stay with us."

She said to him. This only made Oolong groan in annoyance and transform back into himself.

Timeskip...

After their boat decided to run out of gas, Oolong was used as a paddle stick, Bulma lost her dyno caps, the pill that Bulma gave Oolong was actually a laxative and can only be used if someone uses the word piggy. So they decided to walk to the mountain if Ava and Goku don't use the Nimbus, which they didn't.

They came to a hot desert, where the sun were blazing upon our group. Ava and Goku weren't bothered, as they was used to hot weather and could survive without water, unfortunately food isn't an option to survive without.

However, the other two companions were affected by the heat. The siblings stopped and turned to face them, as Bulma and Oolong were slowing down and that's never good in hot weather. Goku then said to them,

"We gave up riding the Nimbus so we could walk with you. Try to keep up."

"Ugh, just remember Goku. I'm not from wilderness! I come from the city where I am loved, sheltered and treated like a princess! I shouldn't be here anyway! I should be pampered back at home!"

Bulma raised her voice. She then looked around the desert. Seeing how big it is and how hot it was, she collapsed to the floor and said,

"I need water before I go crazy."

"You're not giving up are you Bulma?"

Ava asked.

"Yes. No. Yes. No. Oh I don't know. URGH, I CAN'T STAND IT ANYMORE! I NEED IT ALL BACK! AIR CONDITIONING! WATER! SHELTER! HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO SURVIVE OUT HERE WITHOUT MY PERFECT BOYFRIEND OR MY DYNO CAPS! I NEVER GET WHAT I WANT!"

Bulma shouted, releasing what she has kept in ever since the dyno caps were lost. Fortunately for her, Bulma's ranting were also her moving towards shade, where she declared she was having a nap. And a nap she took right then and there.

"You know, guys. I think a rest is what we need right now. Let her sleep, Goku and I will search for food. You stay here, Oolong and don't thing about go running off."

Ava said, tightening her rope that held her pole.

"Sounds good to me. Hey Oolong, do you like bacon?"

Goku asked. This caused Oolong's face to go red with anger and shouted at the boy,

"ARE THERE ANY BRAINS IN THAT THICK SKULL OF YOURS?!"

Before that could answered, a sound of a vehicle was drawing near to our group. The three turned to where the sound was coming from and saw a pile of sand moving fast. Once it came close enough, the sound came from a floating motorcycle and something were riding. Well, someone.

They stopped a few feet in front and they jumped off their ride. The newcomer was a young man, around about Bulma's age. (I think you guys know what the person looks like so I won't describe him) From Ava's view, he seemed like bad news.

"Greetings. I'm Yamcha, master of the land that you have trespassed on. You need not fear me, just hand over your money and any dyno caps you have on yourselves. If you do this, I'll allow passage on my land in peace. However, if you do not comply, I'll have no other choice but force you to hand over your goods in violence."

He said to them. Ava crossed her arms, Goku were in confusion and Oolong noticed this Yamcha person's companion.

"I know who you are! You're Puar! We went to shape shifting academy together, didn't we?"

Oolong said with a smirk. Ava then diverted her eyes to a strange looking creature, that has the appearance of a cat and a rabbit. But with its long tail, Ava decided on cat. The 'cat' named Puar then shouted out,

"I remember, you bully! He'd always pick on me, steal my lunch money and call me names! All because I was smaller and slower at transformation then him!"

Yamcha then let out a dark chuckle and say to Oolong,

"Well, I guess this is my lucky day. I've always wanted to meet my friend's bully and teach him a lesson. How does it feel to be the smaller one now, pork chaps?"

"Um guys, you think you can take on him? He does look a bit much."

Oolong said, hiding behind Ava. She then said to him,

"I'm guessing you hiding is a reaction. You stir up trouble and always hide someone else, right?"

The voice from her gave Yamcha to look at the girl. He had to admit, she was kinda cute.

'Well, she may be cute but she's a little girl and I'm not into little girls. I'm not a creep.'

He thought and said,

"Alright, you guys! I have waited too long! Hand over your goods or prepare to fight to the death!"

Oolong boasted the kids' strength but soon shut up when Yamcha pulled out a sword. Puar grabbed hold of the swords holder and Oolong ran behind a rock. Ava cracked her neck and Goku asked her,

"Is he a bad person, sis?"

"Yes he is Goku. That's why we're gonna fight him."

Ava said, earning a laugh from Yamcha.

"Please don't make me laugh. You're just babies. What can you do, stand on my toes?"

He said, making Ava scowl.

"I'm going to enjoy proving you wrong. Goku, you stay out of this one. He's mine to fight."

Ava said, getting out her pole.

"Aww Ava, I wanted to fight him too. No fair."

Goku whined.

"Stop whining. Look, next time we come across an enemy, you can fight them. But what this guy just said, there's no way I'm letting him off easy."

His sister promised. This made Goku happy but that faded when his stomach growled in hunger.

Yamcha and Ava were staring intense, neither dare not blink. Puar was certain that his master would win but then he saw the confidence on Ava's face. He hated to think this, but from what he could make out, this might be a fight that his master will not walk away from unscarred.

Oolong was terrified. That was his main trait. When Bulma had told him about the kids can fight, he think the boy could but Ava? No way, she was so polite. But then again, anything was possible. She seemed to be the type who would fight, though when he met her, she seemed so innocent. Maybe this fight will show him who she really is.

Yamcha ready his sword, as Ava does the same with her pole. There were no sound, just the wind blowing and the heavy breathing of Yamcha. But Ava, totally calm and steady. As both ready to charge, a noise came. To be more specific, a groan from a certain older girl.

"Hey guys. Do you have any food? I'm starving."

Bulma said, making Yamcha look at her.

Both teenagers stared longing into each other's eyes, up until Yamcha started to shake. He quickly grabbed Puar and placed his sword back and high tailed out of there. Ava, Goku and Oolong were confused of what just happened, while Bulma other the hand.

"Hey guys, who was that hunk? He's so dreamy."

Bulma said, blushing and smiling.

"Really, Bulma? Dreamy?"

Oolong asked, making the said girl nod her head.

Ava was still staring where Yamcha went off too and thought to herself,

'Next time I see him, he won't be so lucky to get away.'

Yeah the ending seemed different from what I expected. I was writing this at 10 to 2 at night though and I couldn't be bothered to change the chapter. But I do hope you enjoy it and are enjoying this story so far.
