Chapter 13
Storm's POV
I felt immense pain, like I was being shocked by a shock collar again.
That can't be right.
I didn't have a shock collar on, so why did I feel like that?
I realize that the kid next to me feels the same way as I do.
Why?
"IT HURTS!!!!!!!" I hear them scream out.
Bryan had to rest as well.
He was screaming louder than we were.
I think he's starting to remember people and events from our past.
He was screaming out to make it stop.
I scream as loud as I did last time I got shocked by a shock collar.
That wasn't exactly pleasant...
The kid next to me-Reverse, I believe their name is-screamed as loud as I am at the moment.
Their friends look at us in concern.
Wait, why concern?
Oh, wait, wait they fuse together to make one body.
But why are they looking at me in concern, too?
I feel myself starting to pass out but fight it.
I eventually give in, hearing everyone call out my name before I do.
When I wake up, it's 6 PM.
My dad's sleeping right by me and Reverse's friend are sleeping by them.
They must have fell asleep after me.
They wake up with a start and look at me.
"Storm? You OK?" They whisper.
"I'm fine." I whisper back. I get out of the bed, careful not to make a sound, and go over to his. "Are you OK?" He nods.
"Wanna scare them?" I nod and he grins.
He gets out of bed, grabs my hand, and we tiptoe out of the pizzeria, starting to run when we hear Molten scream.
Molten's POV
I had gone to Jon's to get fixed and what do I come back to?
The kids are gone.
"STORM AND THE OTHER KID ARE GONE!!!!!!!" Everyone wakes up with a start and looks at the hospital beds.
"Where did they go?!?!" Both Aftons scream.
"Reverse?!?! Where are you?!?!" I start to search the pizzeria, stopping when I see a note at the front desk.
It's in Vincent's handwriting.
(Custom text in my stories in a letter is someone's handwriting. Unless it's in my singing battles.)
W͟͟i͟͟l͟͟l͟͟i͟͟a͟͟m͟͟,
I͟͟ h͟͟a͟͟v͟͟e͟͟ y͟͟o͟͟u͟͟r͟͟ d͟͟a͟͟u͟͟g͟͟h͟͟t͟͟e͟͟r͟͟ a͟͟n͟͟d͟͟ a͟͟ v͟͟e͟͟r͟͟s͟͟i͟͟o͟͟n͟͟ o͟͟f͟͟ y͟͟o͟͟u͟͟r͟͟ i͟͟n͟͟t͟͟e͟͟r͟͟d͟͟i͟͟m͟͟e͟͟n͟͟t͟͟i͟͟o͟͟n͟͟a͟͟l͟͟ s͟͟o͟͟n͟͟. I͟͟f͟͟ y͟͟o͟͟u͟͟ e͟͟v͟͟e͟͟r͟͟ w͟͟a͟͟n͟͟n͟͟a͟͟ s͟͟e͟͟e͟͟ t͟͟h͟͟e͟͟m͟͟ a͟͟g͟͟a͟͟i͟͟n͟͟, c͟͟o͟͟m͟͟e͟͟ f͟͟i͟͟n͟͟d͟͟ t͟͟h͟͟e͟͟m͟͟ y͟͟o͟͟u͟͟r͟͟s͟͟e͟͟l͟͟f͟͟.
Y͟͟o͟͟u͟͟ d͟͟a͟͟d͟͟,
V͟͟i͟͟n͟͟c͟͟e͟͟n͟͟t͟͟
I slow Afton the note and he looks furious.
"Let's go find my kids."
Reverse's POV
"They bought it! They think Vincent has us! Who is he, anyway?" Storm sighs.
"He's my-our grandpa, Reverse."
"Wait what?"
"I'll explain everything once we're somewhere secure." We keep walking and she drags me into a pizzeria, dragging us to the office.
She locks the door and launches into a long explanation of who Vincent is and who her dad is.
Looks like we really are related.
She unlocks the door and we hightail it out of there.
We start to sing a song that represents us save what we've been through.
(Bold is me, underlined is Reverse, bold and underlined is both of us.)
They're coming, creeping from the corner
And all I know is that I don't feel safe
I feel the tapping on my shoulder
I turn around in an alarming state
But am I loosing my mind?
I really think so
Not a creature in sight
But what you don't know is that
My breathing gets faster
And so does my heartbeat
I wish this was over
I wish that this was a dream but
I created a monster, a hell within my head
Nowhere to go, I'm out on my own
Oh I'm so scared
I created a monster, a beast inside my brain
Nowhere to go, I'm not on my own
My mind impaired to wake me from my nightmare
Wait, something doesn't feel right (feel right)
No, something seems wrong (wrong)
And I've been feeling this way (oh that's too bad), for far too long
As my vision gets blurred, my skin's getting colder
Appearing young, while I'm growing older
I collapse to the floor and scream:
"Can anybody save me from myself?"
I created a monster, a hell within my head
Nowhere to go, I'm out on my own
Oh I'm so scared (oh, oh I'm so scared)
I created a monster, a beast inside my brain
Nowhere to go, I'm not on my own
My mind impaired to wake me from my nightmare
Walk into the latch, I find myself looking down
Frozen still with fear, now I'm plunging to the ground
If only I knew how to fly, then I could convince myself
This isn't my time to die
Instead I'm rocketing faster, and faster
I dive, fall to the floor
And when my body crashes to the pavement
I'm right back where I was before
I created a monster, a hell within my head
Nowhere to go, I'm out on my own
Oh I'm so scared
I created a monster, a hell within my head
Nowhere to go, I'm out on my own
Oh I'm so scared, no, no
I created a monster, a beast inside my brain
Nowhere to go, I'm not on my own
My mind impaired to wake me from my nightmare
Awake me from my nightmare
(I'm so scared) Awake me from my nightmare
(I'm so scared) Awake me from my nightmare
(I'm so scared!) Awake me from my nightmare
We reach somewhere we can hide until we're ready to ends the prank, silently hoping we can stay away from Vincent.
As luck would have it, he enters the pharmacy that we apparently ran into, so we quickly run past him and out the door.
"That was almost a catastrophe, Reverse!"
"You said it, Storm."
I hope we can avoid him.
Storm's POV
We have a few more close calls involving Vincent, my dad, Chris, and Snipper.
Then we get caught.
Not by dad, Chris, Snipper, or Vincent, but by Jon.
"Where are you two going?"
"We can explain-"
"Start explaining." I fill him in on what we were doing and why we were doing it and he agreed to help.
Then Vincent shows up and we have to run again.
Apparently we don't run fast enough cause he starts to catch up to us.
We eventually run fast enough to get away from him and hide in an abandoned building two blocks away from his house.
"How many times are we gonna be chased by him?!?!" Reverse asks.
"I don't know."
"Maybe you won't be able to run anymore," we jump. "Because I'm right behind you." He licks the door, I try to unlock it, and I realize we ran right into his house.
We're trapped.
